Chalet Myrtille es una agradable propiedad familiar chalet de verano / invierno bien equipado, con vistas espectaculares desde donde se encuentra en Petit Châtel sobre la ciudad de Châtel. Sólo 1 hora y 20 en coche del aeropuerto de Ginebra y en la frontera con Francia y Suiza. Situado a pocos metros de los remontes de esquí y Barbossine gran parada de autobús para acceder a otras pistas de esquí de la zona, ideal para familias con niños pequeños.

We were a party of 10 (2 families). The Chalet suited us perfectly. 4 x double bedrooms and a "kids" room. Hot tub was excellent. Very convenient for the Barbossine Chair lift, though unfortunately in February 2024 there wasn't enough snow to be able to ski back down, so we had to get the bus from town. The first few days we tried to get Bus 2 form Super Chatel, but it was always rammed and we had to wait about an hour, then we worked out that if we got on a Linga we always got the first bus and only added about 10 minutes to the bus journey. Nice double garage meant we had our cars safely locked away all week. It was possible to walk from town in ski boots in about 15 minutes, but with the little ones in our group we only did it once. Close to a small convenience store (pricey!) that also sold pizzas, and also a hotel bar, that sold well priced beer and dangerously strong Mojitos! We had a fantastic week, despite the poor snow cover and would return.

We loved our time in this chalet! It was perfectly equipped for nice dinners at home, but also close enough to town and to the ski lifts that we could walk everywhere. We would definitely return!

We stayed in Chalet Myrtille over the Christmas/New Year break, we were 6 adults and 4 children. Contact with Celia and Louise was excellent. The bedrooms are well divided, beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The lounge/dining area is cosy, slightly tight for 10 around the table but it was fine, the kitchen is very well equipped although missing fondu or raclette set. It could also do with a thorough clean… A couple of less positive points were the outside stairs and lack of lighting and rails - there are 3 flights of steps to reach the chalet, about 15 in total, with insufficient lighting at night and no handrail. For the young and older members of our group this could have been a big problem if we had had snow or ice and it is not mentioned on the listing.

We had a lovely stay in chalet Myrtilles, which is as described in the ad. The chalet is wery well equipped and located. The communication with Louise, the local contact point was easy ; small point: there are a lot of power strips and all of them are at the UK standard. Also, it could be easier to be fluent in english as though Louise speaks french, when it comes to technical matters, english is easier. All in all, my friends and family and myself enjoyed the chalet and looking at the shooting stars from the hotub was a great experience !!

A really comfortable chalet really close to ski buses and lift. We had the best holiday - good skiing (even though snow & weather conditions were mixed) - great space to gather for meals around the table - lovely hanging out in the hot tub. And Celia is a really helpful and responsive host.

We stayed for a week in Chalet Mytrilles as a group of 10 adults. The chalet was very warm and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone to chill and hang out. The kitchen is well equiped and we were able to cook dinner for 10 each night. The bedrooms have plenty of storage and there is a boiler room to leave boots overnight so they are nice and warm for the morning. The hot tub on the balcony was a definite highlight and was regularly cleaned. The owner was very easy to keep in touch with and quick to respond to any queries. The chalet is located within 100m of the nearest ski lift, or you can get the free shuttle into Chatel which runs every 20mins or so in the morning and afternoon. The view from the rooms and the balcony is beautiful! We will definitely be back.
