Gopala's Restaurant near by. The only thing in Kalighat which is good.

First, the management of this hotel is very unprofessional foul language and communication is poor ( may be hardly they have any education , it looks like ). Please avoid this hotel if you wish to sleep. We had requested for a non smoking clean fresh room on booking.com. But they did not even bother and they gave us smoking smelly room with bed bugs and enitre room smelt sewage . We had no choice hence we booked as it was close to temple. There was a fight going on in the reception and all dodgy things could be happening here, although they say unmarried couples not allowed, it is probably to attract customers to show they are more clean, but things happen behind. its a shady place. Avoid avoid avoid. Also breakfast is from the vendors on the road side and they provide it on their tables as if its been prepared by them. One will fall sick with stomach bugs, if you see where it comes from you will be shocked ! This is not a place for someone who has lived his/her life abroad or any cleaner atmosphere. Sorry for being HONEST ! total rundown. Never ever Kolkata again! Don't waste your hard earned money

The breakfast could be better as expected being a known hotel.

The room is quite spacious and clean with all the basic amenities provided.

The staff kept on calling the room asking on simple things and especially if you’re not an early bird, its quite annoying in the morning.

I liked the room Cleanliness, staffs were helpful, there were some stains in the blanket, when I informed they change that. Breakfast was moderate, liked their kochuri and alur dum most.

Most of the time ola and uber drivers drop off a bit far from the hotel cause the hotel is placed in onr way road.
