Lovely quiet village with village pub. Lovely big room. Breakfast was really nice. Hosts very welcoming.

Das Frühstück war phänomenal. Ganz frisch nach Wunsch zubereitet. Der Vermieter gab auch gut Tipps, was man der Umgebung machen kann.

Das Zimmer war sehr warm. Leider konnte man das Fenster nicht richtig öffnen , bzw die Türe auflassen, da diese direkt nach draußen auf die Straße führte.

voortreffelijk ontbijt met een heel vriendelijke bediening. De kamer was voorzien van alle benodigheden die nodig zijn voor een overnachting. Zeker een aanrader !

Great room and facilities

Grande chambre dans un quartier calme. Hôte très sympathique et de bon conseil. Excellent petit déjeuner. Bon pub à proximité pour dîner. À 20 minutes des falaises de Douvres (et du Ferry…)

The room was perfect, very large, ensuite, clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable and large. Breakfast was in a room next door. The host was exceptionally friendly and jovial and even drew happy smiley faces on my boiled eggs which made me laugh. It really was a lovely place to stay and had I realised how nice it actually was we would have stayed longer. Popped into the Crispin inn whilst we were there and wished we had eaten there as the menu looked good.

Nettes, kleines B&B in einem ruhigen Vorort von Sandwich mit herzlichen Gastgebern! Das Dreibett-Zimmer war ausreichend groß, alles geschmackvoll und wohnlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Betten waren fantastisch! Im Bad fanden sich neben Shampoo und Duschgel auch ein Zahnputzset, etwas für die Nagelpflege, ein Notfall-Nähset und weitere Kleinigkeiten. Das warme Frühstück im kleinen Frühstücksraum war sehr lecker, dazu gab es frische Früchte, Müsli, Joghurt, Wurst und Käse zum Toast. Tye umsorgte uns gut und mit viel Humor.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und nur eine Nacht hier - vielleicht ist die Umgebung nicht so spektakulär, doch das Meer ist nicht weit weg und als Alternative zu den teureren Angeboten direkt in Meeresnähe ist dieses B&B unbedingt geeignet.

Very welcoming host. Funny as hell. Great location for us (close to Royal st George’s) and a short drive to Sandwich with quite a few restaurants and pubs. For two persons in a family room the rooms had plenty of space as I got a wide double bed on my own😀. Nice bathroom. Perfect breakfast. Easy to park in the street.

Le confort et l’accueil. Le pub à 200 mètres. C’est un cocon idéal pour découvrir la campagne anglaise si jolie. Chambre très très confortable, très bien équipée. Nous avons même eu le plaisir d’y trouver un adaptateur dans le tiroir. Petit-déjeuner copieux et varié. Tye qui a à cœur de faire découvrir sa région et qui donne pleins de petits conseils bien utiles. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce B&B.

Ampia e pulitissima camera in una splendida villa nel Kent, abbiamo trascorso solo una notte qui prima di prendere il traghetto per casa. Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità dei proprietari, la deliziosa colazione e il paese che merita assolutamente una visita. Peccato esserci stati così poco! Speriamo di tornare presto!!

Room very spacious and liked having a table and chairs in the room which enabled the family to sit down together and for the grandchildren to be able to play board games.

Große Zimmer, gute Betten, klasse Frühstück und der Gastgeber Tye war einfach großartig.

Etwas abgelegen, für‘s Abendessen muss man nochmal ins Auto steigen.

It was very warm. The bathroom was large with a lovely shower. The room was also big and the beds were very comfortable.

There was no outlook in the room and the large window, which let lots of light in, was frosted. I wouldn't have wanted a longer stay than a night there because of this.

Couldn’t fault it at all. Very accommodating, friendly hosts and an absolute pleasure to stay. I have OCD with cleanliness and I felt instantly relaxed with the cleanliness. For me it’s the small attention to detail and obvious care and thought which sets this above the rest. Very comfortable, hosts very helpful, ideal location with walks, lakes local pub etc. on your doorstep and breakfast cooked perfectly to order. We look forward to visiting again and the boys haven’t stopped talking about going fishing.

Located in a beautiful village surrounded by lovely properties, church and a fantastic local pub. Great location with fantastic roads to it. A truly warm welcome from Tye and Diane on arrival, along with lovey pre heated room on arrival. Tye made us feel at home from the outset. A really really lovely and homely retreat for a night away in Kent. Our room had it all. Lovely beds and bedding and a quiet location to be. Breakfast was amazing and at the time we asked for. My wife and I will be going there again for certain in the very near future. The reviews we read helped us decide upon our stay here and I’m so glad we did. Thank you Tye and Diane so much.

La chambre était jolie et propre. La rue est calme. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Et surtout l'accueil est très chaleureux et exceptionnel :-)

Very friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast. The room was a good size, clean and well furnished and the B & B is in a nice quiet location, with plenty of parking opposite. We will definitely be staying again.

The room and en-suite were very clean and always lovely and warm. Good choice of cereals, yogurts and fruit and the hot food, cooked by Tye, was delicious. The location was perfect for our needs and Tye was very knowledgeable on the local area. Every mor ning we were asked if we needed anything in our room and nothing was too much trouble. The St. Crispin Inn was only a couple of minutes walk away and perfect for an evening meal. We are looking forward to a return visit when the weather is warmer.

It would have been nice to meet Dianne, just to put a face to the voice on the telephone.

Spacious bedroom and bathroom, clean, beautifully decorated, all the facilities one would need, very friendly host, excellent location for Deal and Sandwich, superb breakfast!
