El hotel aunque pequeño está muy bonito, con una muy linda decoración tanto la habitación como áreas comunes. Todo muy limpio, el personal súper amables todos y agradables. La comida muy rica y las bebidas muy sabrosas!! El hotel está junto a la playa entonces duermes escuchando las olas del mar, las palapas súper cómodas para pasar el día. Me encantó que no solo tienen sillas y camastros, sino hamacas!! La playa está maravillosa y muy limpia. Fuimos con mi perrita y se la pasó corre y corre por todos lados y duerme y duerme bajo la palapa. Todos la trataron muy muy bien. Como hotel pet friendly encuentras bolsitas en varios puntos del hotel para recoger las popis de tu perro entonces no hay pretexto para no levantarlas. La pasamos increíble. Definitivamente regresaremos.

El hotel tiene una pequeña alberca, pero no hay lugar, como sillas, donde poner tu toalla porque no tiene espacio. Cuando llegamos no se veía muy atractiva porque tenía un poco de basurita por las plantas de alrededor, cuando nos fuimos ya estaba limpia y si se antojaba darte un chapuzón pero ya no dio tiempo. También el agua estaba muy fría y como no tiene realmente espacio para nadar difícilmente moverte para no sentir frío.

Hotel is a gem of a facility.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the lovely hotel, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Berta and Mauricio were particularly outstanding in their service and made our stay unforgettable. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible food served at the hotel restaurant. Every meal we had was absolutely delicious, and we were blown away by the quality of the dishes. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great variety of options and everything was so fresh and tasty. But what really made our stay memorable was the way the staff went above and beyond to celebrate the birthday of my partner. Berta and Mauricio surprised us with a cake and decorated our room, making our stay feel so special and personalized. It was such a thoughtful gesture that we will never forget. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The friendly staff, delicious food, and personalized touches make it the perfect place to stay for any occasion. Thank you to Berta, Mauricio, and the rest of the staff for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Beautiful location, excellent food, wonderful staff, our room was a second floor cabin with a beautiful terrace and view of the beach and sunset, everything great.

Too expensive, both the room and the food, the pool could be more clean.

The hotel seems to have been designed for alternative travellers in the style of the 1990s. The rooms are relatively well kept and decorated with Mexican handicrafts.

This place urgently needs an update. There were some faded magazines in the room, the likes no one ever reads since the advent of Facebook and Twitter, dated to the first decade of the century. While the rooms are still good, the patio urgently needs some cleaning and a lick of paint. Everything looks rusty and dusted. The kitchen/restaurant area are a mess and service is unfriendly. The terrace, with ocean view, is shoddy and not really clean. The hotel is on the far side of Pie de la Cuesta beach, beyond the air force base. This means it's far from restaurants and other hotels, the road at night is dark and lonely. Access is through a very narrow dirt road and the parking space is very cramped. The beach is unattractive, as compared to the main stretch of Pie de la Cuesta.

We had an excellent stay! The beach is beautiful, scenic and literally on your doorstep. The location felt extremely safe not just in the hotel but also to walk around the area. The staff/food in the hotel was superb as well! If you would like to escape the resort-filled city or have security concerns, this is only 30 minutes away but better in almost every way!

Not a lot to complain about. The facilities are somewhat basic - the window is just wooden shutters (excellent for listening to the ocean at night!) and the shower isn't heated. Not an issue considering where you are, though!
