All was great!

Loved EVERYTHING. The location is wonderful - close enough to hiking trails in the area and also the grocery stores at Pihtipudas, but secluded enough to make it feel private. The house itself is huge, in great condition, very clean and fully equipped with everything one can need (awesome kitchen, sheets and towels, washing machine and dryer, heating and AC, Wi-Fi, TV, 2 saunas...). But more than just a house, this place feels like a HOME, which is one of the main reasons that staying here feels so comfortable. This place has history and a story to tell, and if you look around and investigate you will discover many interesting details... Also, the surrounding is super cool - bonfire spot, outdoor sauna, traditional kota for outdoor cooking, picnic table, swings, 2 choices of lake beaches and tons of greenery. But, the best part of all - the owners. Urpo and Anne are kind, sweet, hospitable, share their time, knowledge and stories if one is interested and provide an unforgettable experience in the Finnish countryside. COULDN'T RECOMMEND ENOUGH - 10\10 ACROSS ALL CATEGORIES.

There is absolutely nothing I didn't like. Everything was PERFECT.

A lovely home, huge one, I could say, in a peaceful location. We stayed too short, coming late in the evening after a long drive and left early morning, but we got all we needed. The host was very nice, arranged to easily get the keys, the sauna was prepared, all I needed was to light the fire. Pet friendly location as well.

Nothing to complain. A pity that I had to stay so little.

It amazing plasein the heart of Suomi! Nice lake! Beautiful forest! Deep silence! Air air sir!!!!!
