Amazing view, delicous breakfast, parking in front the house..

The room was very comfortable with a great ensuite shower plus a separate side room with a cooker and fridge which could be used as a mini-office/kitchen (which we didn't need for a 1 night stay but one could be comfortably based here for a week). The buffet breakfast (coffee served by the proprietress, who could not have been kinder throughout) was lavish and delicious. The location, high above Modica, gave a stunning view from the bedroom of the city. Plus free private parking right outside the building.

Good place, perfect location. For us it was a base while traveling through south east Sicily

Clean, well equipped rooms with comfortable beds and all facilities needed for travellers. The host is lovely and very hospitable, warm and friendly and she gave me great advice on parking in the centre of Modica and how to navigate to the main sights. The breakfast was abundant with fresh foods to prepare for a day walking in Modica. When I showed an interest in learning about local edible plants she also showed me the wild capers that grow from the wall nearby which was just lovely. A great place to stay which is great value for money, I highly recommend B&B La Terrazza dell'Itria.

We are experienced travellers and think very carefully before posting any negative review. As identified by a few other reviewers, the Google map directions were a major problem for us. We were directed to a shabby part of Modica well outside the historic town. We had to ring the contact multiple times to eventually find the B&B at least 15 minutes by car from the incorrect location. The contact was incredibly difficult to deal with. Unwilling to provide the actual street address and eventually telling us by text to "catch a taxi". The contact was not on site for us to take up his behaviour issues in person. We arrived frustrated and stressed, greeted by a nice elderly woman who spoke only Italian. My Italian is good enough for me to understand we were by no means the first guests to experience the treatment we had. The B&B location would be difficult to access without a car/taxi.  While the views from the best rooms are spectacular, it is a long and challenging walk to the historic centre by foot.  The references to nearby restaurants within 400 metres on the B&B profile are deceptive as these are 'as the crow flies' distances across the deep ravine that separates the B&B and the historic centre, not reflecting what is involved to access these restaurants by car or by foot.  We made do with a single restaurant nearby. One of the better rooms with a fine view, spotlessly clean, handy car parking and a generous breakfast only went a little way to make up for the customer 'non-service'.

The place, the view are amazing, the breakfast is delicious with fruits, home-made cakes...and the others. There is a good parking place just in front of the house.

It is la terrazza however there is no access to the terrace, which is a pity, sice we hoped for it and chose this place because of the view from it. Shower was too small.

The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The host was very friendly and prepared a scrumptious breakfast. The room was clean and spacious. Having a fridge in the room was an appreciated bonus.

Breakfast was exceptional with homemade pastries. Location very easy to reach. Parking in front of guest house a big plus. Excellent value for money.

We had the room overlooking the side, and not the back where you get the best view. However we arrived late at night and left the next morning, so it wasn't an issue. The room (and the bathroom) are rather small.

At the moment when we booked the room cost 54 euros after the reservation the price changed to 72. This person has a standard practice of deceiving people during check-in.

Love the owner/staff of the b&b, they’re so concerned to their visitors, and looking from the window there’s the best view of the city.

The actual owner is nice and he waited for us even we arrived for a late check-in. The place is a old house quite near Modica center but I would not recommend to reach it by foot. Very old fashioned and little, but clean and not at all expensive. View is amazing but be sure to book a terrace-view room.

Very old house, little spaces, exterior a bit ruined too

La Terrazza Dell'Ittria offers staggering views over the old town of Modica-- something out of a dream. Breakfast also excellent and varied, the manager extremely friendly and inviting, and the room comfortable, functional, and big. A climb to get from the commercial center back to the hotel, but that's part of the enjoyment. The best place to stay when in Modica-- waking up to the astounding views is really magic.

very good brakfast ! Home made cookies...mmmm, and beautiful place to stay. The owner was also very kind.

The room has a breathtaking view, very clean and tidy, the service is first class. The hosts are friendly and kind, next time I go, I will choose them again!
