Love this property, and the quietness and rural atmosphere. The property manager/owner is very proactive in responding to any questions you might have. It is only a few minutes outside of Setubal and beautiful beaches. Kids would love it here or couples wanting peace & quiet.

Loved our stay in this gorgeous property. It has everything you need to feel at home while you are traveling. My kids loved the bathing pool which was perfect for the steamy August weather. Very much appreciated the fully stocked kitchen plus the courtesy basic provisions (bread, cheese, butter, wine and beer!). The location is super convenient for getting into Setubal, Arrabida beaches, and Azeitao... plus 40ish minutes into Lisbon (took us 40 to get to airport on a Sunday with no traffic). Contienente supermarket nearby is great for quick provisions and cheap breakfast. Wish there was a close cafe right nearby but easy to drive to one if you need. Very reasonable price for the space you get. Thank you Alexandre!

Excellent stay. Really private place with large outside area, big open and cool lounge and kitchen area. Has everything we needed to cook and relax in the evenings. Great communication and recommendations from Alexandre. Would highly recommend.

Good location to beaches and venturing to Lisboa for the day!

We were welcomed by the intoxicating scent of orange blossoms and we were delighted by the huge wisteria pergola. The surrounding meadows were full of poppies and wildflowers. The house and the outdoors flowered together and we enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast outside. Our days were filled with visiting the beaches, neighboring vineyard, Casa Pamela and the nearby towns. Alexandre was a thoughtful and kind host. We really enjoyed our stay.

We have had a very pleasant stay in theconveniently located house. The house is furnished very tastefully and is very well equiped. The host is very friendly and responsive to any questions. The house was clean and the host had provided for local cheese, wine and bread which was very welcoming. Except for one shower, the house was in good order. There are two showers, so no problem for us.

The house is very comfortable and the large garden with the small swimming -pool is great. Alexandre gave us a very warm welcome with fresh cheese and bread and a nice wine. We went to see the dolphins from Setubal, enjoyed the beach and spent a day at Lisbon. We also visited the small tile (azulejos) shop and workplace in Azeitao. The place is very peaceful in a green surroundings, yet there are enough things to do and places to visit nearby. We certainly recommend! Johanna and family, Netherlands.

I enjoyed my two week stay in this cute little and comfortable country home. I had two dogs and walked them in the small orange grove picking and eating oranges. Yet it also had a large TV with many channels in English yet was only 10 minutes from Setubal or Azeitao.

We had a lot of space in the beautiful house. Bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a large open kitchen with living area. The location is very good, it is very fast on beautiful beaches and to Lissbon it is also only 40 minutes. We have made very nice trips and enjoyed the quiet large garden. All about a nice holiday. Alexandre was very nice and helped us with questions, as well as valuable tips. He even bought beach towels, because we did not have one :-)

We are a family of 5 (3 daughters aged 13/12/12). We spent 5 days of October half term at the farmhouse. We loved the property - plenty of space to relax, eat together, watch movies. The girls enjoyed exploring the garden and even braved the pool. The weather was mixed sun/rain but didn’t stop us from exploring: one day in Lisbon (45 mins drive away); other days to different beaches, including taking the ferry over to troia and driving down the peninsula. Lovely fish/seafood lunches in restaurants on beaches and in Lisbon. The property owners were extremely helpful, answering our questions in advance and waiting to welcome us late at the property on our Friday evening arrival. The house is well stocked for cooking utensils etc and the owners kindly left us some bread which we appreciated when we arrived. A good supermarket about 10 minutes drive away. We hope to visit again.

The house is very comfortable, with a spacious living area going out onto the patio and into the extensive garden. We sat for long periods in the sunshine watching birds flitting through the trees and loved strolling round the property in the evening as the sun went down. The kitchen has all the equipment you could possibly want. The area is fascinating - from Setubal, an interesting busy port town with a superb market, to the Cabo Espichel. The Atlantic beaches are particularly beautiful. The Sabo Estuary is superb for bird-watching. Everyone was very friendly and the food in the area is delicious. There is great walking in the Arribida Natural Park, but we recommend doing some research in advance to find the routes - Adventurept has a good map.
