Værterne var meget imødekommende og venlige. Værelset var velholdt med en fin lille altan. Stedet ligger et stykke fra byen, men værten tilbød os at køre os frem og tilbage når vi havde behov for det.

Der var begrænsning på internettet, fra udbyderens side, hvilket var en udfordring for os da vi arbejder mens vi rejser. Værten havde desværre ikke mulighed for at gøre noget ved det.

2 young female travellers and we had an absolutely fantastic stay here. Picked up free of charge by our host. Very friendly family. Lovely setting and clean spacious room. Cooler climate however we were provided with plenty of blankets so were not cold. Wonderful breakfast and dinner service available at small charge- delicious home cooked food. Had a tour by our host at a small price- very useful and knowledgeable about local area. Nice warm shower, wifi temperamental at times but still worked ok. Overall a wonderful stay would highly recommend.

Great stay in Seeming Lodge ! The family running the small guesthouse is amazing! The nicest people ever. The room are super clean and very confortable. The breakfast is plenty and delicious. Don't miss to book a dinner there as it was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Only fresh products perfectly cooked ! The guesthouse has only 2 rooms as for now, so if you book both it is like booking a full appartment as you can use the shared living room. Beautiful view on the tea fields too. Bear in mind that it is a cold area. Rooms and living are very cold. The owner offer an electric heater with an extra fee, which is fair.

A bit far from the city center, it can be a bit complicated if you don't have a car/driver.

The room was clean and confortable. The view of the tea plantation is amazing even we were Lucky to admire The stars at night from the balcony. Royal breakfast. The personal was so kind and very helpful always here to give good advice. We had a good discussion with them. We were welcomed with tea and biscuit. Peaceful place. We recommend it.

The owners were very nice and communicating. Very welcoming, we got homemade cookies when we arrived. The lady of the house was so kind! Thank you for that! We got the room without big balcony, wich is the same price as the one with big balcony. It should be cheaper in our opinion. We don't know if in Nuwaraelya everything is more expensive, but in comparisation with other places we have been in Sri Lanka, we thougt this one was a bit overpriced. But the comfort was good, blankets warm enough, hot shower, hairdryer. Everything you need. We took the breakfast wich was VERY good and extensive, both local and western food. But again, it was 6$ per person, while in other places breakfast is included in a cheaper nightprice. Overall, the location is amazing, and the owners were really nice so we were happy. Thank you!!

We had memorable and wonderful stay in the place. 5 Minute drive from the City. Warm welcome by owner & his wife. We were offered delicious Tea & Biscuits When we arrived. Room were So nice and Just as the pictures on the website. Very spacious, Clean & Fresh. There were Enough Blankets and Sheets So we had no Problem with cold at night. They also have heaters if you needed them ( for extra Charges ). Bathroom is also clean & equipped with all necessary items, and had hot water facility with Good water pressure. View from the room was amazing. You can see tea plantation , flower Garden & Hindu Kovil From the balcony. We were offered morning Tea by owners wife & If you want there is tea making facilities in the room as well. There is Tv in the room and living area. Living area is shared by Two Room in this accommodation. And most importantly When we went to town at evening we were bit late to come back, owners are kind enough to call and ask why we are late...We had memorable and wonderful stay in the place. recommend for anyone who is planning to visit Nuwara-Eliya.❤️

The host was amazing, really friendly and welcoming! The room was great and clean, a really cozy bed with an amazing view. From the balcony you can look over the tee fields. It‘s really peaceful and calm. I can definitly recommend staying here :)

The seeming lodge was amazing. The family could help us with bus connections, showed us around and the beds were very warm and comfy. Apart from that we received a very good breakfast. Thank you very much, I would definitely recommend it.

We arrived from nuwara eliya to Ella via train and transportation provided by the hotel owner. Hotel owner and his brother were so friendly and helpful. The room is located on the top of hill and it was so clean. It has a large balcony which you can drink your tea with an amazing mountain view.Traditional breakfast served by the owner and his wife was so delicious.

The owners are amazing! They had arranged a really sweet surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and they made our stay very comfortable. The room was also good value for money and the views were so beautiful. We were provided a lot of blankets to survive the cold and the bathroom was well equipped. 100% recommend staying Seeming Lodge!

The property is a bit outside the town and the way there is uphill. However with a car that was no issue at all.

If you want to enjoy the vibe on the top of a mountain, this is the best place you should stay in. Comfortable rooms with cozy bed and other facilities, nice balcony view of mountains and tea estates. Owners are rich in hospitality. Highly recommended.

Host Mr. Herath and his wife are extremely friendly and caretaking. Welcomed us with some cookies and a hot tea. Room and bathroom with hot water are very clean. Very comfortable bed with duvet and 2 blankets to make sure we are not affected from extremely cold weather. Balcony offers you wonderful sights of a tea estate in misty mountains. Kudos to the host for the wonderful experience.

It is a walk of 15-20 minutes to the centre. It didn’t bother me a lot, because I like to walk around.

The hospitality of the people in the lodge was so great and they are a lovely family.

if you want to be treated like royalty, stay at Seeming Lodge! The owners are so incredibly kind and go out of their way to make you happy. Drop offs in the town, packing breakfast for your (very) early morning trip to Horton plains… you name it, they fix it. The rooms are nice and very clean too, with lots of extra blankets to help with the colder climate. One of the two brothers is a tour guide too, he knows lots about the region and is always happy to explain in excellent English. To summarize: Sri Lankan hospitality at its best!

A really comfortable stay with a private balcony and a lovely view. The hosts went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and gave me a small tour of Nuwara Eliya on arrival. The breakfast was delicious (and huge!), the bed was really comfy, and it's a nice place to just relax, especially if the weather turns.

The owner and his brother came to pick us up at Nanu Oya station. In the evening they cooked different curries for us, the food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The next day the owner drove us to Horton Plains National Park, Damro Tea Plantation and a waterfall. Thank you for the hospitality, the great conversations and the sightseeing. We enjoyed it very much.

10/10 isn't enough for this place. We had a really great stay at seeming lodge. Best breakfast on our journey so far and the view on the hills was amazing. Definitely do a tour with Chaaminda. He took us to a lot of beautiful places and at night we met his friends in their bar/restaurant. You will love the Kottu there I promise.

The family who owns Seeming Lodge are very kind and helpful. They help you organizing what to do. The hotel is located 5-10 minutes to the center in a very calm area. They bring you to the town when you need it. The room has excellent views. We would come back again.
