Spacious, modern appartment with air conditioning in the heart of Mestre. Easy to access Venice by bus, many shops and cafes around.

It is allowed to smoke in the area which leads to the appartment, so some smell of cigarette smoke had entered the flat, luckily it was not apparent in the bedroom. You have to take out your own trash before check-out.

The apartment was clean and well organized and is also very well connected with the center of Venice. The information for visiting the city was detailed and accurate. The host was friendly and helpful, he gave us information on typical and cheap places to eat in the center of Mestre It was a great experience, we will definitely be back.

It was huge and clean!

The price was good, in a central location, quiet place near to everything you need. The apartment is large, spacious, has two bathrooms, almost everything you need and is a quiet place.

If you're coming to stay during cold times, bare in mind that Venice has some time and temperature restrictions for when you can actually turn on the central heating (at most 22 degrees and for less than 14hrs / day). We did not know this, nor was it written inside the apartment description. Furthermore, when we notified the owner about this, he mentioned that we are using the thermostat wrong. In reality, after we were turning up the temperature to 22 degrees in order to heat the house, he was turning it off again remotely from his own house after a few minutes. We ended up sleeping in the cold for the first nights because of this and not knowing what's wrong with the thermostat. So remember if you have this problem as well, the thermostat is working properly, that's not the problem. The owner instead is just messing with it remotely and then blaming it on you for not using it properly. Also the kitchenette is uncomfortable with neglected ustensils and dishes. The apartment is on the third floor with lots of stairs and no elevator, not easy if you have luggage. Parking with a private car is about a 5 minute walk but is not cheap.
