Great value, very quiet location away from the main busy tourist streets and the hosts were super helpful and responsive.

Sebastian and his mom were very friendly and helpful with all the information you need. We loved staying here, waking up to see the horses and the beautiful view from our room. It’s just a little bit outside of the touristic center which was great for us. The town is very small and by 5 minutes walk we were in center.

I liked the location, close to town but in a nice relaxed area. The bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept on in the past 3 weeks and the views were fantastic. Windows on 2 sides allowed the light to cast on wonderfully. Sebastian was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation.

-The water in the shower was not hot (but not cold as well), they did said they're gonna fix it👍🏽 - the place is 8 minutes wake from the center, its little uncomfortable if you want to make a little stop ther in the middle of the day, but on the other hand, it is quite in a very beautiful area!

Probably our favorite place where we stayed during our 5 weeks of traveling through Colombia! :) Posada is run by very kind personnel - The mother-and-son duo who will do everything to make you happy! :) Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, hot water in the shower place situated at the very end of Salento with amazing views of nature! :) We will miss those lovely mornings, waking up with a sun overlooking those lush green hills! We loved it so much that we decided to stay 7 nights in stead of 2, which we booked originally. Thank you for everything, we really enjoyed it! :) Marie and Miro, Kind Regards from Spain! :)

Ruby and Sebastian are very friendly and helpful. I could check-in earlier and Ruby was very patient with my poor spanish and explained everything for me and showed me, what you can do in Salento. The room was very clean - they do the bed everyday for you. It is 5 min for the center place, very peaceful there (ok, Salento is in general very peaceful). Hot water, good wlan.

It smelled funny in the bathroom. I think it came from the pipes..but not sure.

the hostel was nice and quiet, it is on the outside of the town what makes it a quiet place with not to many tourists around. The bed was comfortable and the room was basic but good. The price of the accommodation is also good.

The owner of the hostel, when we arrived she was already telling us we couldn’t complain about some things about the hostel. Such things as the distance of the busstation to the hostel, that you can’t use the kitchen or that the hot water is sometimes not working. (for us those things wasn’t a big problem) Also the rooms are quite noisy, so you can hear people in their rooms or walking down the hallway. Because of that you can’t have much privacy. All with all I think the owner of the hostel wants to have the best for the people that are send staying there. So she don’t want to have negative things and she try to avoid negative comments on booking.com. If you look in the comments you can see they will respond on the bad comments. Please don't take this bad comment personally because apparently you don't like when something bad is said about your hostel, but sometimes you have to accept those bad comments for the better and grow more and turn them into something positive.

The description said that the room has a balcony. Let's call it a large window and there are no more misunderstandings. ;)

The room was big, clean and we had a beautiful view. Location was also good. Not so far from the centre of Salento. There is a fridge you can use. There were notes in the room with some information and we thought the hosts were nice people. For us the room was a 10/10!

Host came upstairs blaming us of making noise multiple times. Closing doors, normal talking in the room (no later than 9:30 pm), having breakfast. We did this all very considerate of other people. In all the months of travelling not once we heard that we are loud people, we actually hate other people doing that. At a certain point we were only whispering and closing doors in slow motion all day and even this didn’t seem good enough. The last morning throwing a banana peel in the bin (we think it was this, because we were sooooo quiet because we were afraid of her reaction) made her come upstairs telling us to be quiet. It all made us feel uncomfortable. The dog and chicken downstairs were the ones making ‘real’ noise, which made this feel a bit unfair.

We did not feel it was necessary to have our bed sheets changed every day - bad for the environment! Shame the kitchen cannot be used, all facilities there but not allowed to use.

I dont take this lightly saying this but Posado Dònde Cupeto was one of the best places we have stayed and that was mainly down to our lovely host and the owner Dona Rubi. She was incredibly helpful in explaining what there was to do around the area, how to get places, and all sorts of tips. She was there whenever you needed her and also smiling and looking for ways to help. Ive seen someone say a negative of this place was location but i dont agree at all. The place isnt in the main square but its only an easy 5 minute walk to get there (like most of the accomodations are), there are little shops near by and its only a 10-15 mim walk to the bus station (buses also leave from main square dont forget so depending when your going you may not need to get to the station). Overall a wonderfall stay and if we ever go back to Salento we would not hesitate in choosing this accomodation again
