Great location for Etna

Unfortunately the heater in our room was very noisy, there were no restaurants/shops open in the area to get anything to eat (the ones we were told to order from were closed) and there was no warm water in the bathroom.

The first night we found crumpled and dirty sheets strewn with other people's hair. Since we arrived late and there was no one at the reception already, we decided to sleep in our sleeping bags, but I asked for the linens to be changed tomorrow so we could sleep on the bed the second night. The next day I received a message that the room had been cleaned and the linens had been changed. Unfortunately, when we came back next day it turned out that the linens had indeed been replaced, but the dirt and hair was right in the middle, under the bedspread (what a surprise). I wrote a message to the host and talked to the staff at the reception. After 5 of her repetitions about the room being cleaned, we were offered replacement sheets. To the comment that the bedspread also needed to be replaced because the dirt and hairs obviously come from it we received no intelligible response. So we refused and decided that we would spend the second night in our sleeping bags again. To make things worse after this conversation I received a message on Booking from the host, and I quote: "hair not ours; your behavior was not good; now it's not our problem" and then they accused me of secretly hosting another person (we invited our friend to the room for about 1.5 hours to have a cup of tea when we arrived from Etna, but nobody staid) although even the person at the reception saw our friend when we came together and said it's OK.

Location is great if you plan to go around the Paesi Etnei. So beautiful. Pizzeria, Coffee shop (and amazing views) plus a small family run grocery shop less than 3 mins walking distance! Cant find anything to fault this beautiful place.

A few more amenities in the rooms would be great. We had a tiny fridge that served its purpose but had we stayed a few more days something bigger would have been better.

Great and friendly host, big room with attached big bathroom with bath. Balcony with a nice view in a quiet area. Half an hour drive from Etna.

Very minor, but the air conditioning made some noice. It went away after a while.
