Schade, dass der Pool und die Sauna zu unserer Reisezeit geschlossen war. Diese werden wohl von einer externen Firma betrieben, die über unseren Aufenthalt hinweg aufgrund eines Feiertages nicht arbeitete. Auf der einen Seite verständlich. Auf der anderen Seite natürlich ausgesprochen schade, dass man uns darüber nicht informiert hat. Der Pool und die Sauna waren immerhin einer der Gründe, weshalb wir uns für die Unterkunft entschieden hatten.

The apartment was much bigger than we had thought. The four of us could have easily fit into one apartment.

Not that it can be helped, but hauling luggage 4 floors up wasn't great.

Great location and very spacious and well equipped unit.

Check in process is a nightmare … received multiple long emails that basically insisted I had to contact them with a specific check in time or risk not being able to check in / be fined and then reminder emails that if I’m not out in time I’ll be charged … a bit overkill on that front And then when I did turn up on time it’s a nightmare to find reception as the accommodation is owned by different companies so you have to phone a number from the car park and then hope your phone reception allows that … Room is big but pretty dated to be honest .. bathroom was old, and the welcome hamper is very impractical for traveler’s… packets of pasta, rice etc …. Maybe some nice cheese, crackers and local seafood or produce would be better … not pantry staples ?? Interesting place but very overpriced when compared to many other places I’ve seen travelling for 8 weeks

Great location. Abbaye is just magic and the rooms super large and comfortable. Perfect place to visit around Loch Ness

Stairs as there is no elevator. But it is healthy :)
