Die Pension liegt mehr oder weniger mitten im Wald. Ausgangspunkt einiger schönen Touren. Die Gegend ist wunderschön, manche Touren sind etwas anspruchsvoller, andere einfacher. Viel Natur zu bewundern. Alles in allem einfach aber sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, reichhaltig. Man könnte sich auch 1-2 Sandwiches für unterwegs machen. Phänomenales Abendessen, alles frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Bei gutem Wetter konnte man draussen auf der Terrasse essen. Zum Abschied durfte man ein T-Shirt mit dem Logo der Pension in der gewünschten Farbe mitnehmen (Funktionsshirt!). DANKE nochmal für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Eigennutzung (Zimmer 11 im EG). Für eine Person, eine sehr angenehme Größe. Andere Zimmer, insbesondere die in den oberen Stockwerken, waren kleiner und enger. Und auch sehr warm. In meinem Zimmer herrschte eine angenehme Kühle, mit dem Nachteil, dass die verschwitzten Bergtour-Klamotten nicht wirklich trocken wurden.

Fantastic location in the middle of a pine forest with several trails starting nearby. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Lovely hosts.

Great location in the heart of the western Carpathian Mountains, with a variety of hikes starting right from the door. Shower was better than expected with hot, good pressure water - welcome after a day's hiking.

When booking, it was indicated I was getting the last room, and therefore I understood the higher price, but when I arrived it was relatively empty.

Great location and facilities. The hosts and staff were very warm and hospitable, anticipating our needs and proactively offering support (e.g. replacement shoes). The menu for breakfast and dinner was varied, well balanced and tasted great too. Being so close to the main attraction Cetatile Ponorului, we had more time to explore the caves and around without a tight schedule.

Internet connectivity is less than stellar, thanks also to generally low signal levels in the area and beyond.

This is a mountain cabin, with great location, in the middle of the forest, there are many trekking routes which you can explore. Do not expect large rooms as in a city hotel. The rooms and baths are basic, but they provide what you need and are very clean. After all, if you choose to stay here is because you want to go around and explore the beauty of nature, not spend time in your room. Wifi signal is not very good, but again this is in the middle of the forest. Enjoy nature, put away your phone 😀. Still, if you need your phone, i suggest to bring an external battery charger. The socket in our room was not working...but this was no inconvenience for us. The food was very good and tasty- many thanks to the cook. Breakfast was included, but we also had dinner, paid at property.

This looked like a family business, which is good. But this comes with very little personnel and when cabin is fully booked, like n the weekend we went there, the host was more focused on greeting/checking the people he already knew and we felt a bit ignored... When we went down for dinner, which btw was really good, i saw welcoming drinks on other guests tables but we didn't get any- free or no free...

Location

The moment we arrived, staff started complaining that we don't want to buy dinner and breakfast, which they claim was MANDATORY. (Just one of us wanted dinner for the evening, and the rest of us wanted to order beer.) It seems that this is the cabin's policy when you don't make a reservation through booking.com (They didn't ask us how we booked the room, they simply assumed, and we had no idea why the owner was yelling at us when we ordered the beers) After a 5 hours drive, we were denied to buy water/beer. The entire evening the staff was staring and blaming us like we were some criminals. Eventually, they realized their mistake, but became even more aggressive towards us. Because of their awful attitude, we could not eat there the next day and following morning.
