The accommodation is in a very old, charming building in the old part of Genoa, close to the Aquarium by the sea. Alex, our host, had been in contact with us a few days before with all the information needed to find and enter the building. Without the video he sent we wouldn’t have found it, so we were very grateful for that! The apartment is a one bedroom place with bathroom, kitchen, lounge area and bedroom. It had all we needed for a very pleasant stay. Netflix and Apple TV was included.

Being an old building the apartment was very ‘cool’ especially in the early morning and evening, but we were not able to put on heating. It would’ve been great if there had been some instructions for some of the appliances, such as the washing machine, TV etc. We couldn’t get the TV in the bedroom to work at all. The mattress was quite hard and a bit crater shaped.

The location is amazing and Alex was very helpful throughout all. The apartment itself is very modern and has lovely features. The location for us was the best and everything was walkable which was great for us. The kitchen is great with plenty of utensils!

The bathroom was quite hard to get into the shower, my dad is quite elderly so had to help him in and out. The bedroom was comfy but sofa bed wasn’t the best but was okay for a few nights. At night the area was a bit worrying but we made sure we were back at a reasonable time, this is no fault of the apartment and you feel safe when in the block as it locks at night

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, posizione perfetta se si ha necessità di stare accanto al porto/acquario/galata in quanto in una delle traverse più illuminate e sicure. Pieno di localini sotto per mangiare. Host gentilissimo.

Awesome location, awesome space. It was a little bit hard to find but the video explaining how to get there really helped.

Location is ok since it's within walking distance to the main attraction as well as public transportation.

If you are carrying anything more than a backpack this isn't the place for you. Parking lot that is suggested by host is about an 8 minutes walk and since it is mainly pavement you have to walk on, it is going to be a bumpy ride. In regards to parking, I would suggest finding a better one that is closer to the apartment or at least cheaper. The vouchers that the host provided were not valid and I ended up paying 108 euro for a 2 day and 14 h stay which only adds up to the cost of your trip. The street on which the apartment is located seems dodgy during the evening/nights. The apartment is dark since windows are only showing into an internal court, which also makes airing close to impossible because of the smells that come from it. Host was pretty dismissive while chatting on whatsapp.
