We have given 5 stars as everything about the villa was fantastic with the exception of the noise of building work close by. This is obviously not something the owners have control of. We stayed with our family for a week and would thoroughly recommend it.

Villa exceeded all expectations. It’s a lovely home and one I would definitely book again. The house managers were lovely and we had no problems while we stayed in the property.

Villa Aqua is a beautiful well equipped and professionally hosted holiday home however it is in a developing neighbourhood so please expect construction noise all day 6 days per week which should really be referenced in details and if price is discounted due to the noise this should also be referenced

We were so pleasantly surprised about how lovely and big the villa was. The Villa managers answered all of our questions promptly. We had a really lovely stay. They only thing we were disappointed with was the lack of cleaning at the villa. They came only once and they only did the pool and outdoor area and this was because I asked them to as there has been a storm the previous night. In the details, it says that they come to clean 2-3 times. The inside was not cleaned once. However, this did not spoil our stay and overall we loved the villa, the location and the holiday as a whole. Thank you so much!

This place massively delivered and exceeded our expectations. We were a group of friends celebrating my 40th birthday and this place and it's location was perfect. The house is so big there is plenty of space for everyone inside and outside, with lots of different areas to relax and enjoy. We were close enough to the marina to venture out each day for a drink or food and then back to the house to play games, jump in the pool or just chill with a BBQ. The tapas provided by Andi on the first night was very good. We are already talking about coming back next year, a wonderful place to stay!

Loved everything about the house, perfect layout with fantastic outside space and lovely heated pool. Would have been amazing except for the building noise from next door, stone cutting behind the property and other building noise also nearby. The noise was so bad that we could not use the outside space in the day time and also unable to have an afternoon nap indoors with the sound and vibration from heavy machinery only meters away next door. We realize that this was beyond anyone's control, but it did of course seriously impair our experience and diminish our enjoyment of our stay. Such a shame!

We stayed in this villa for a friends 50th Birthday and it was perfect for our group. Great Villa, lovely villa Managers and the perfect getaway.

Property had not been cleaned very well at all. Cooker cleanliness was very bad. External bedroom sheets were dirty, dead cockroach been there a while, no aircon in that bedroom. No aircon downstairs in main Villa (made sleeping very hard - 2 bedrooms). Wasnt told of building works opposite (very noisy). Bannister gaps very large and toddler nearly fell through PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Wouldnt have booked if known earlier

My family and I just finished what we each agree was perhaps the most relaxing and wonderful vacation we’ve been on!! It was due in large part to the marvelous property that we stayed in and how welcome our charming hosts made us feel! We couldn’t have been happier! The property was immaculate and very well stocked with all the essentials. It also had a terrific selection of recreational equipment for fun with the family/friends (ping-pong, wii, billiards). The outdoor swimming pool was glorious. The property itself is situated in a quiet location a short walk from the port with a beautiful view of the mountains and sea. We enjoyed the nearby cliff walk to Playa Quemada and star gazing at night. The local market was a three minute drive and was very well stocked. We were all sorry to leave!! Thank you so much Victoria and please pass on our thanks to Andy and Idoya too! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We just returned from spending a week in Villa Agua. There were 11 of us. Everyone was delighted with our stay there. It was one of those rare situations where the property exceeded our expectations. It is evident that the property has been built and maintained to a very high standard. We wold have no hesitation in recommending the Villa. Regards Frank

The cleanliness of the whole villa and pool area was spotless. The villa is well equipped and has everything you need to cook meals or make use of the amazing outdoor bbq kitchen area. The pool was clean and heated - everyone loved it not just the kids. The marina at Puerto Calero is lovely with lots of nice restaurants, shops and also a mini supermarket. There is a Lidl supermarket approx 10 -15 min drive away. There is also a water taxi to the larger resort Puerto Del Carmen which was a lovely experience about 25 mins each way and cost € twelve return for adults € seven for children. Our favourite restaurant was Papperdella and the paella is definitely worth a try. We would 100% recommend Villa Aqua and hope to stay again in the future. We visited Rancho Texas zoo which is worth a visit if you are staying with children. They do dolphin, sea-lion, parrot and birds of pray shows, and also had a mini water park. Also a great barbecue and pool area with 12 comfortable sun loungers to relax and bronze. Ideal location, in a quiet residential area, but only a 10 minute walk to Puerto Calero which offers a good choice of bars and restaurants. Can recommend the Catamaran trip from the harbour €64/head. Villa Aqua is a beautiful villa and has everything that you could possibly want to make your holiday a great experience. The whole family enjoyed the pool and there were lots of places to sit/lay to make the most of the sunshine. We have had a really lovely holiday and would most definitely consider returning to the villa. Puerto Calero is lovely and about a 10 minute walk to some really nice restaurants.

Fabulous villa in a fantastic location. Thank you for what was a wonderful week at Villa Aqua. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. The Christmas tree was also a nice touch particularly appreciated by the children. Owner Victoria and her neighbours Andi and Idoya were extemely helpful and communicative. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 8 people celebrating a 50th birthday and couldn't have asked for better accommodation. It's a comfortable 5 minute walk to shops, bars, restaurants and 2 hotels. The villa was so spacious that all of us could lounge comfortably without being in each other's way. As well as a massive games room, there were 2 large outside living / dining areas, a large indoor living area, a 10 seater dining room, 2 indoor kitchens and a large barbeque area. The pool area was very spacious with both shaded and sunny spots for lounging after a swim in the heated pool. We rent top end villas each year for our large gatherings, but all agreed that this villa has come out top so far. Victoria sent us good general information prior to our arrival and Andy (house manager) came out immediately when we couldn't initially access the wi-fi as we were using the wrong code. All in all a very enjoyable holiday in a beautiful villa.

We were all thrilled to have been able to rent such a wonderful villa. We acted as hosts to our children and five grandchildren with ages 11 to 16 and their constant enjoyment of the pool and the games room whilst we six older family members had space to relax in the sun or shade. It is incredibly well equipped and we wanted for nothing We will definitely be booking again

The villa is beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The local marina is really nice with great restaurants, bars and shops and feels a lot more upclass than over areas. We stayed in June and the fact the lower rooms were not air conditioned did not bother any of us as the villa is well designed so they stay shaded all day. The only negative for us was the pool which was on the smaller side and a little shallow. Kids loved it still and it was well used but not really viable to get a length in. Andy and Idoya who look after the property, were helpful and lovely. We booked Andy to cook us a traditional paella which was really good and recommend it to anyone staying there! All in all a great villa and holiday. Would have been 5Stars if pool was slightly deeper/bigger but would not let this deter you unless swimming is critical to you. Highly recommended.

Beautiful spacious villa good location. Photos don't do it justice.

This was our first stay at Villa Aqua with family members ageing from 20 - 80 years old! The villa is spacious, modern and extremely well equipped, with an abundance of space for everybody to relax and enjoy themselves. The location is great and not too far from the marina which has a fantastic selection of restaurants and shops. The only down side for us was that the housekeepers did not offer a linen or towel change over service during our week stay, although the villa does have its own laundry if you wish to do your own....not something I Personally want to do on holiday. This would not deter me from staying again and I would definitely recommend this villa as a great place to stay.

We have just returned from a week at Villa Aqua, and would firstly like to thank Victoria and her family for agreeing to rent it to us. We were celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary and we could not have chosen a more beautiful place to do it. It exceeded our expectations-the layout inside & out was fantastic with plenty of space and extremely well equipped. We would definitely recommend it to our friends & family and will be checking availability for the future.

Very impressive Villa. From correspondence with Victoria on day one to leaving when housekeepers arrived, everything was easy and hassle free. Villa was extremely well equipped, so much so we spent all of our time there. Kids loved the heated pool.

We loved the villa it was beautifully decorated clean and tidy. Great having another kitchen downstairs as that's where we were most of the time. Great outside space with enough room for us all and places to escape to if you wanted some alone time. Pictures did not do it justice. Andy cooked for us a couple of evenings very good food. Close to the Marina and had a meal out there one evening. Would definitely return

Firstly, we want to thank Victoria and her family for letting us rent Villa Aqua, we all had a wonderful holiday there. Also I must mention that from my first point of contact with Victoria and throughout the booking process she handled everything very efficiently, professionally, and she was obviously trying to ensure that we would enjoy our stay. This made me feel confident we were in safe hands. Immediately on arrival we realised the villa exceeded our expectations. The photographs on the web site do not do the villa justice. The layout is superb. There is so much space both inside and out that even with a full house there is plenty of space to relax and it never felt crowded. Quality furnishings and all in good order, everything worked, and the kitchen had all the equipment and more that you could ask for. We required 2 cots and a high chair which were supplied plus they put child gates on the stairs which made things very secure. A big plus was the games room with table tennis, pool table, and large screen TV with DVD and WII which was enjoyed by all irrespective of age group. Our only gripe was that the 3 bedrooms on the ground floor did not have air conditioning which would have helped as it was extremely hot during our stay. The house managers, Andy and Idoya, were very helpful both in explaining how everything in the villa worked plus information on the area. We used Andy who was a professional chef to provide tapas one evening which was both superb and very reasonably priced. We were also going to use him to provide paella another night but ran out of time. Highly recommend you use Andy at least once. While not essential I would recommend a hire car. It is hard work walking back from the local supermarket with a bag of wine, beer and water!! Eurospar in Macher about 5kms away has everything you would want plus excellent fish and meat counters. The marina in Puerto Calero is delightful and a lovely place to wander, have a coffee, etc. We ate at Azure, La Taberna Del Puerto, and Harbour Club which were all good and if you fancy pizza then try Osteria Pizzeria Margherita. Please avoid La Parppadella where the meal we had was almost inedible. We wanted to go to the upmarket Amura which looked very good but ran out of time. We had lunch in Lani's Café restaurant in Puerto Del Carmen which was wonderful. I would give Villa Aqua 4 1/2 stars out of 5, if there was air con in the ground floor bedrooms then it would have been 5 plus.

Stayed many times now, amazing apartment can’t fault it

We have just returned from a stay at this fabulous villa. The pictures looked amazing, but the reality was so much more! Well equipped, clean, stylish and spacious! The villa is beautiful decorated and every detail felt well throughout and considerate. The games room with ping pong and pool table was an added bonus, the BBQ area was super and the pool and loungers were fantastic! Really cannot rate this villa and its amenities highly enough. The area of Puerto Calero is beautiful, the marina front has a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants and offers superb views. The taxi ride firm the airport is short and cost about €20, equally a taxi ride to the nearest big town of Puerto Del Carmen is only 10mins and cost about €13. The only downside is it was impossible to get a 6 seater taxi FROM Puerto Calero meaning we had to get two taxis which added to cost. A hire car would definitely be beneficial if you wish to explore some of the island. We really had the most wonderful of holidays and would highly recommend this villa to anybody.
