The food was delicious and there was a big variety. The staff was friendly. Rooms are clean. Swimming pool - nice, new and clean. Hotel isn't far away from the beach.

Wifi was paid and you need to pay for every single device on which you want to use internet.

the staff at reception are bloody rude. i used the iron and was told I have to bring it back after within an hour. you have one hour to use and bring it back. I called to use the iron again last night and they said a guest has taken it. this guest refused to bring the iron back after 1 hour. I booked a tour for the next day and asked for the iron and was told when the guest comes back we will get the iron. at 5am when I was ready to use the iron they lied to my face and said they don’t have a list for who has the iron which is a lie as I seen it with my own eyes, you must sign the iron out. the staff continued to hang up the phone on me when I called about the iron. one rule if your black and another rule if your a white person. I would never stay here again! bloody rude staff and don’t care about sorting out issues. lie to your face and don’t care about doing it! big fat liars and bloody disgusting hypocrites .

the staff are welcoming just to get your money then you will see what they are really like. bloody rude and uncaring. one rule for one guest and another for others. tell lies to your face!

Excellent customer service, breakfast was great. Really clean, nice pool. Nice bar in the hotel, friendly staff. Overall, excellent.

The hotel had everything I needed. The breakfast was tasty and the bar was great. Sun beds were awesome. Location was down a nice quiet road.

The walls are very thin so it can be quite noisy. There were also lots of wasps and flys around by the pool which put me on edge. The restaurant isn’t big enough for the amount of guests, so you would have to leave with your plate and go up to the bar and then sometimes there wasn’t a space there either. The music around the pool stops abruptly a lot. The beds were very hard and you don’t get a blanket or duvet, just a thin sheet.

Not far from the airport, clean and spacious room, comfortable bed and shower, good breakfast.

No parking, it has always been so hard to find a parking spot around.. it took more than 30 minutes to check in.. Only one slow elevator.. I asked for a room with a view for our honeymoon (pool view) but they gave us the one without. You can hear everything from upstairs..

very clean rooms, staff friendly location ok. Breakfast time very busy had to wait sometimes for tables… needs better organisation .. like some tables for 2 / a lot of crossing over people in Que’s to get glasses & cups but on the hold great for the value.

The Fact no British staying apart from us. Arenal is not set up for the British.

Half board option was amazing, plenty of options in the dinner time.

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area and the facility is good. The staff were very friendly and the cleaning of the room was amazing.

The beds were only two twin beds that were constantly moving so my partner and I could never sleep on the same bed. The soap and shampoo containers were broken so we couldn't use them. Also the bathroom door couldn't open properly. The breakfast was nice but the coffee was horrible and the orange juice tasted like water with some colouring. Overall it was a good stay but the hotel could use some work and renovations.

Hotel full with ants. We first thought that they were only in our room, then we asked for a new room and the receptionist told us that there are ants in whole hotel, also in our second room. And when I say there are ants, I mean they got into our clothes, suitcases, towels and cosmetics. Horrible. Also, rooms are absolutely not sound proof and if you are “lucky” enough as we were, and in room next to yours are loud guest, then expect not to sleep at night because we had a feeling like there are no walls at all. No free WiFi in hotel, 1 day is 4 EUR, and 7 days 15 EUR but just for one device. Both my wife and I have each a private and a business phone and we stayed 9 nights so do the math… 21st century and I have to pay SO MUCH in Europe for WiFi in hotel I stay at. In general, shame on the hotel management for being ok to have ants all over the hotel in 21st century.
