Cannot express enough how much we loved staying at this hostel. The shared area is the easiest place to be social and make friends. The staff help create a family environment and get everyone involved. They invited us to play football, took us around the Sunday Market, helped us order food and played lots of board games together. Special thank you to Chen, Zarif and Pian for their hospitality and kindness. We will miss this place. Thank you for making our time so great. Hope to see you again in the future

Ready to help with booking, know a lot about KK and Borneo and are interested in hearing everyone’s experiences afterwards to advice future guests. Returned for one night after 5 weeks around Borneo, and was instantly welcomed ‘home’ which felt as the perfect way to describe Faloe

minor downside, it is a little further away from town, which means either walking on lots or getting a grab somewhere (for 5-8 ringgit)

Syah and Stell are such charismatic hosts who make all their guests feel welcome. There is a book detailing all the tour options available, but I like that there is completely no pressure to book anything with the hostel. The hostel is overall clean, and I like that they always provide two pillows and a bath towel for their guests.

Given the less than desirable state of public transport in the city, getting to this hostel can be a bit of a chore. Nonetheless, there are many food options for all budgets in the vicinity. It'd also be nice to have privacy curtains in the dorms.

The staff is friendly. The location is strategic which is next to Imago Mall.

I had a great time at Faloe Hostel. Syah and Stell were super helpful and accommodating, and also helped in organizing activities. The hostel is located in a quiet area, still everything you need (breakfast, restaurant, shops) is within walking distance. Also there’s a well equipped kitchen.

I had a lovely stay at Faloe hostel. I had one of the warmest hospitality here from Sarah, Syah and Stella. They are really caring and always willing to hear you out and help, plus they’re super fun:D I had zero issues with the facility, everything seems to be new, perfect and runs uninterruptedly. Additional thanks to Syah for his home cooked meals and showing around the city during his off time. love you guys and sending warmest hugs from Kazakhstan

I loved the electric atmosphere that was present, I’m a firm believer that a place can only truly be amazing with incredible people and that certainly was the case with Faloe hostel. Syah was amazing he made the others and I feel so accommodated and welcomed, we had breakfast together and just had an overall amazing time. The people I met there have affirmed their place in my core memory.

everything, great social space, dorms and beds are very clean and comfortable, amazing little kitchen space, laundry is cheap and quick. nowhere else in KK is worth the effort, only stay here! great tours can also be organised here and the staff are the best!

super clean and well equipped. the lady was incredibly helpful and friendly. other guest can be a tad bit noisy but the rooms are cosy. mall nearby so food choices are plenty. 10 mins from airport and 15 to the jetty. will definitely come back here.

Great hostel, very friendly and welcoming environment, Ivy the host was incredible, super friendly, super helpful, she helped plan my itinerary for the next few days. Also there was a lovely guy who cooked food for everyone. 10/10! And the wifi was good too also there’s Netflix and a computer!
