This home was very nice and relaxing the porches were great to just sit out on and enjoy the wildlife. The mattresses were perfect for sleeping. This is a great home to stay in.

Fully equipped house was a great location to explore Maine. Property is quiet & secluded. Screened in porch is a nice touch. Owner was very responsive.

Very comfortable and lovely home - a great pleasure to stay in. It was close to the ocean - great area just for walking around and exploring. We had everything we needed for a fun, romantic stay. We very much hope to return next summer!

Really enjoyed this property. It felt really remote, was exceptionally clean and I really appreciated the motion detector night lights! I would definitely go back to this property, particularly when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the porch areas.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our group consisted of my husband and me, and two of our adult sons. The house sits off of the road in a wooded area, providing a sense of privacy and seclusion. It’s close to so many of our favorite ‘necessary’ things to do while in Maine: the Muscongus Bay Lobster Co, Rachel Carson Salt Pond Preserve, Round Top Ice Cream, the beautiful town of Damariscotta (the bookstore is a must), and a little further out - the Montsweag Flea Market. Here are some of the little (& big) things that I appreciated in no particular order: a 14 cup coffee maker, the screened-in porch, a well-worn kitchen table (read ‘no worries of leaving water marks’), super comfortable mattresses, beautiful artwork - ❤️ watercolors, luxurious bath towels (really really wonderful), and a big backyard with a fire pit (disclaimer: it was a little too warm for us to sit around a fire, so we didn’t use it). The Berrymans always responded quickly to the questions we asked prior to arrival; we had no issues while we were there. I’d love to stay here again!

Remote quite country cottage. with beautiful surroundings. Well equipped with all essentials provided.. Unfortunately an unexpected Nor'easter left us without power, ending our stay two days earlier than we planned. Alissa and Dan helped us find accommodations in nearby Freeport. The Berryman's could not have been nicer to work with.

The house was in a very quiet location. It was clean and well stocked with linens.
Screen porch became our favor end of day spot to sit and relax

This house was even better than we expected. There was plenty of room and the screen porch was fantastic. Nice big yard for kids and a fire pit. We didn't check out Mpxie Cove but definitely will next time. Coffee shop in Round Pond makes the best muffins & lemon pound cake! Would definitely rent again!

Many things are lovely--even ideal--about this house. The setting is pleasant, the lay-out of the rooms is nice, and the screened porch is worth a gold mine. The kitchen, however, is very poorly outfitted for cooking: there are tons of glasses, silverware, plates, and bowls, and the pans, although basic sizes, are excellent quality, but there is little beyond that. The house is absolutely ideal for many groups, but if you like to cook, bring everything you need.

We loved staying at this property. Beautiful home that was exactly as listed. House was clean, all 3 beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows. We are also very impressed with the linens and towels. Only thing I could comment that would make it a little better for guests would be a night light in the hallway upstairs (it was very dark and I got a little disoriented in the middle of the night) and a few hangers in each of the closets. Other than that, absolutely no complaints and would love to stay here again!

Exactly as advertised, communication with home owner was immediate, home was very clean, and comfortable. Loved the art, and porches! Beautiful property. Will definitely try to book another stay next time we are in the area.
