Spacious apartment with wonderful ocean view. Walking distance to Willemstad old town center, and many excellent restaurants. Excellent security.

We absolutely loved our private beach cove and accessibility to town. This was a much needed reprieve with a balance of excursions as well as relaxation on the beach.

This property is very well positioned. Not only do you have the benefits of a private beach and pool for the limited number of units in the building, but you are within walking distance of downtown Willemstad and many great restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the property. Security is also very good.

Nice unit, quiet for the most part, lovely views, close to grocerys, restaurants and easy 20 min walk to town.

First time to Curacao and I would recommend staying here for so many reason; the location is excellent...close to town, restaurants, a major hotel is a few buildings down and its near other major beach centers; having your own beach on the property was a huge advantage as it can get very busy at other beaches, and this beach was beautiful, beautiful sand, water and your own gorgeous sunsets. The view is outstanding...one of the prettiest Vrbo views I have had. Very quiet building and very clean. The owners are wonderful, they respond so quickly to all of your questions and are very helpful. We would highly recommend this condo!!

This beautiful condo is about a 7 minute drive from downtown Willemstad where all the action is. You can also walk there in under 30 minutes – we did, almost every day. Gorgeous view from the porch, living room and master bedroom. Very quiet and private. Very clean. Nice quality linens and towels and comfortable beds. The central air works great. Nice pool and private beach with lounge chairs. Fast Internet in the condo and at the beach. Generous supply of toilet paper and paper towels. Very responsive when you have a question or an issue. The only reason we did not rate this property with five stars is that the hot water did not work in either the master bathroom shower or in the second bedroom shower. So we had to shower in the third small bathroom off of the small third single bedroom (think cruise ship sized shower).

The view from the balcony was spectacular. Unit was fine for two couples. While the second bedroom is smaller, we had the two twin beds made into a king and had no issues. Loved the onsite beach. The lagoon made it great for swimming. Spoiled by the central AC but turn it off during the day to stay within the daily limit. The kitchen is well stocked - two minor issues (large fry pan non-stick coating is coming off and sometimes the freezer didn't make a lot of ice). We rented a car and easily traveled downtown to restaurants and further up island for snorkeling. Our favorite was playa porto mari (wonderful snorkeling and easy access from the beach - not too rocky). Easy walk to Cana restaurant (one of our favorites). Also loved Kome.

We just spent a week at Tanne’s apartment at the Strand and it was amazing. The third floor unit has a huge balcony looking directly out into the water, and the property is very quiet and peaceful. The unit is nicely appointed with tasteful, simple, modern furnishings. And the location is great: close enough to walk to numerous restaurants and the old Willemstad area, but remote enough to be quiet and feel like you’re really getting away. I’d highly recommend staying here!

This location is located about a mile from some great dining. The beaches in Curacao are a little rough, so the private beach/lagoon is very nice and calm at all times during the day. A vehicle is a must at this location if you want to see the island. Very safe and well guarded. If you are buying groceries however make sure to go into town and stay away from the local Chinese store down the road.

Everything in the apartment was exactly as listed. The view and access to the ocean were beautiful! We wished we could have stayed longer. And walking distance to many great restaurants. Thanks Tanne

We really enjoyed being able to walk to so many restaurants and shops. It was also close driving distance to many great dive sites. The pool and beach were also very nice. The apartment had comfy beds and all the things we needed. Would defined stay here again.

My family had the pleasure of staying at this newly renovated 3 bedroom oceanfront apartment. It was spacious and clean. The views are beautiful from the balcony. The pool area and beach area were very nice and quiet. I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Curacao.

Wij hebben het goed naar ons zin gehad in Curaçao eind maart mede dankzij ons verblijf in het appartement van eigenaresse Tanne en natuurlijk Karin de beheerder van het complex. Zij hebben ons zeer goed, snel en gastvrij begeleid. Wij hebben dit appartement gekozen vanwege de gunstige locatie t.o.v. Willemstad en de grootte. Het complex, bestaande uit zo’n 18 appartementen is verdeeld over 4 woonlagen. Het is gunstig gelegen aan het strand met een zwembad, op ca. 15 minuten loopafstand van het centrum van Willemstad. Het prive strand is voorzien van ligbedden met in het strandhuisje gratis kussens en zwembandjes voor de kids. Parkeren kun je voor de deur op een afgesloten en bewaakt parkeerterrein. Iedere appartement heeft zijn eigen parkeerplek. Tijdens ons verblijf was erg rustig in het complex. Dit is onze 3e keer op Curaçao (respectievelijk 5 en 10 jaar geleden) en de Penstraat waaraan het gelegen is, is opmerkelijk op vooruitgegaan. Heel wat (authentieke) huizen zijn in de loop der tijd gerenoveerd en het is vooral een stuk levendiger geworden. In de nabije omgeving zijn leuke restaurants te vinden en op ca. 3 minuten (auto) rijafstand is een supermarkt en een tankstation. Mocht je een auto hebben dan heb je op ca. 10 minuten afstand een XL Albert Heijn (van der Tweel) waar je echt alles kunt kopen wat je ook in Nederland kunt vinden, er staat zelfs een haringkar voor de deur. Een huurauto lijkt me wel een pre zeker als je meer van het eiland wilt zien maar is niet noodzakelijk als je een beetje van wandelen houdt en in Willemstad wilt blijven. Het appartement is erg ruim, modern ingericht en zeer geschikt voor gezinnen met (meerdere) kinderen of twee aparte stellen. Het heeft een ruime woonkamer met open keuken, een apart toilet en 3 slaapkamers met ieder een eigen badkamer wat voor privacy zorgt. Een washok met wasmachine en wasdroger maakt het geheel compleet. De keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien met alle huishoudelijke artikelen wat je thuis ook zou aantreffen. Op het ruime balkon kun je aan tafel heerlijk van het uitzicht genieten en bootjes voorbij zien varen. Enige minpuntje wat ik kan bedenken is dat ik dit keer geen dolfijnen heb zien langskomen.

We loved visiting Curacao because there is a lot to do and the condo is a great place to crash after a busy day. The views from the deck are lovely, the small beach and swimming pool are well maintained and quiet. Children would enjoy the safe enclosed beach. The condo 3C is simply but beautifully decorated with new furniture and art. There are books to read, the deck is large and private, the beds comfortable. The space suits a couple with 2-3 kids the best. The master is large with walk in closet and view to the ocean. The second bedroom with twins has a private bath but is much smaller and faces the street. Two couples traveling together should know that the two main bedrooms are very different. The condo, The Strand, is well managed and is safe, gated and has many great restaurants within walking distance. It is easy to get around and drive to the tourist sites, lovely beaches, diving and snorkeling. There seems to always be a breeze in Curacao in the winter and we only needed AC in the late afternoon. All the appliances are new and there is a washer and dryer. The owner is very friendly and helpful and is easy to contact. The management company who you meet upon arrival is very competent and is available during your stay. I would highly recommend Curacao and The Strand 3C!
