Brilliant apartment and Leeann was a superb host. Fabulous views out to the Heads. Immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property. :)

Mason Lane Apartments exceeded all our expectations. The location is calm with gorgeous views that can be enjoyed from the deck and from inside the place. Leeann and Warwick have furnished the place incredibly thoughtfully and are downright generous with the amenities, appliances, and conveniences that they made available to us. Leeann was communicative and present and was available to answer any questions. Overall, we had the loveliest long weekend here and would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

The apartment was really well set up with everything you could need and more! It was very peaceful and a beautiful little spot. Just what I needed to come back to each day after a busy conference.

My husband and I stayed at this property for two weeks and everything about our stay was excellent. The suite was very clean and well supplied. The neighborhood was great for walking and it was a short drive to the grocery store where we found everything we needed for our stay. The hosts, Leeann and Warwick, were friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to meet. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Whangarei area. It was a great base for our visit to Northland with lots of golf options and interesting day trips.

Immaculately presented in a picturesque location with views over the harbour. Quiet and peaceful in a lovely neighbourhood. Leeann was a fabulous host, very accommodating and welcoming. We will be back. 😊💕

This property was exceptional. The view were breathtaking. The property was very clean, tidy and well appointed. The communications with the owner/ manager was great and they were very friendly and welcoming. Nice special touches as well (chocolates). Having stayed at 6 different locations in Northland over 10 days this was the best. What a gem.

The apartment was fresh, clean and modern with a lovely view overlooking the water and Limestone Island. Leeanne had thought of everything and added nice touches - small chocolates, condiments in the cupboard with honey for your tea as well as instant, pod and filter coffee and several different teas plus didn't skimp on the milk. There was also a new toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom should a guest forgot to pack one. Everything was good quality down to the shower gel and hand soap provided.

Best accommodation ever!
Can’t speak highly enough of Leeann and her hospitality! From the first contact of booking to the very last day, Leeann was very accomodating. The house was perfect, the location was beautiful, the house was stocked with everything needed. Loved that there was paddleboards and kayaks to use. Nice and peaceful. Definitely deserving of 5 stars! Thanks for having us enjoyed every moment of our 1st wedding anniversary

Wonderful property in an outstanding location. Surrounded by nature, with bush and sea views. Love hearing all the birds. So many little extra touches too. A real home from home. Spotlessly clean and so well equipped.

Brilliant in every way
The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything one could need plus many extra touches which added a layer of luxury! Beautifully peaceful, fabulous views and kereru, tui, fantail, morepork, and a myriad of seabirds to soothe the soul. Loved everything and wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Whangarei!

Excellent unit, great value! Fully functional kitchen with utensils, dishes, cookware, etc. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. If one were to look for a hotel suite that has the amenities and quality of this unit, you'd be paying at least 2x the price. I stayed on the North Island for four days after a 6-day hike on the South Island, and I wish I would have booked all four nights here, instead of spending two in Auckland with a day trip to Waiheke Island.

We loved the location at Onerahi.
We loved the location at Onerahi. It was very quiet and Mason Lane was a lovely little street. It had a view of the water and was close to the jetty and road around the seashore. Lovely walks around the shore road with views to Whangarei Heads and Limestone Island. It was 10 minutes to the city and about 20 mins drive along the coast road to Whangarei Heads.

The unit is just gorgeous - The pictures don't do it justice! It was spotlessly presented and tastefully furnished. Everything looked fresh and lots of the appliances etc were brand new, The unit is not large but ample room for a couple and the location and view are just beautiful. The spa bath and hammock were very much enjoyed too!
