Well-kept vacation home with pool and large garden by the sea
La casa está rodeada por un jardín bien cuidado con un gran césped, árboles y arbustos en flor. Dos dormitorios en la planta baja y un gran ático con baño privado, terraza privada y máx. cuatro camas hacen que la casa sea ideal para familias numerosas o grupos de amigos. Lo más destacado, por supuesto, es la maravillosa piscina con trampolín y chorros de masaje, que se puede iluminar por la noche y, por lo tanto, garantiza un ambiente de vacaciones agradable y relajado.
En la planta baja hay una sala de estar, una cocina totalmente equipada, un baño y dos dormitorios, uno con cama de matrimonio, otro con cama de 1,40 de ancho y una cama individual. Las habitaciones están completamente amuebladas, las camas, los colchones, etc. son nuevos.
En otoño de 2018, tuvimos un sistema de aire acondicionado instalado en las dos habitaciones en la planta baja, que también tiene una función de calefacción. Esto hace que la villa sea ideal para familias con niños mayores que desean "tener paz" o familias con niños pequeños que se van de vacaciones con sus padres o suegros. El aire acondicionado también está instalado en el ático.
Todas las ventanas tienen mosquiteras y persianas. El jardín está rodeado por una pared verde, por lo que los huéspedes pueden relajarse realmente y nadie puede verlos bañarse. La ubicación también es tranquila, la casa está en una calle sin salida en el borde de Fontane Bianche, por lo que no hay tráfico. La playa de Fontane Bianche está a unos 900 metros, donde también hay bares, restaurantes y varias pequeñas tiendas.

The Villa is perfect for larger/extended families. We were a family of 5 and my in laws and the space worked perfectly for us. The location is perfect for Fontane Bianche beach which is easily walkable and the local bakery which we used for fresh bread and pastries most mornings. The beach and sea is lovely and we tended to have a dip early evening when it was less busy and a little cooler. The kitchen at the Villa is well stocked and there is a BBQ by the pool which we used a number of times. The pool itself was great and the kids loved the diving board. In order to explore the island you must hire a car. This allowed us to travel to Syracuse, Noto and Ragusa which are all beautiful! (Driving is not for the faint hearted or nervous in Sicily, however). Anne is an exceptional host and responded promptly to any queries (although we didn’t have many) and having holidayed as a family for a number of years we agreed that it had been the best we had been on. Whatever you do make sure that you take a trip up Mount Etna. We took a 4x4 jeep trip and it was breathtaking! Thank you so much Anne for such a fantastic stay in Sicily!

The house is in a very good location. Proximity to beautiful cities such as Syracuse, Noto and Modica. Moreover, close to a very nice sandy beach. The house is well-kept, equipped with all the necessary things. I heartily recommend it to everyone who is considering renting it ♡

Four of us (2 adults, kids of 13 and 10) had a great week at this villa at the end of October. Despite the late season, the weather was ideal for sightseeing and the water was warm - and the beaches uncrowded.
The villa is in excellent condition - very clean, very well equipped and ideal for a family. The pool is large - you can properly swim in it. However, what really up-levels it is the diving board. We had so much fun jumping off it.
There are lots of things to see and do in the local area, enabling a nice balance of culture and relaxation.
All in all, we highly recommend this villa and the excellent host.

We had a fantastic holiday at this lovely villa.
The garden and pool are the star of the show with a selection of shade under trees or the outside dinning area. We didn't use the lounge at all although it looks comfortable. There is a good bbq and excellent kitchen with all you need to cook good meals. There is a good restaurant within walking distance serving great pizza also will do take away.
During our stay the temperatures got upto 37° so we tended to return to the villa at midday going from pool to shade and the fridge for wine or beer.
We tended to shop at Lidl as local shops didn't stock that much, + the market at Otigia well worth a visit.

2 bathrooms but one accessed via an outside staircase. House had everything required. The interior of the house was cool, perfect for summer but quite cold in April. We were comfortable there.

The villa was lovely and really well equipped. Anne, our host was only an email or WhatsApp away to answer any of our questions. Pool was fabulous and the garden was really spacious. I loved lounging around in the hammock whilst the kids swam in the pool or played darts.
We had some great days out. Mount Etna and Ragusa were highlights and Siracusa and the Grand Cava gorge were also great.
Fontaine Bianche itself is a slightly odd place but a great base to visit Taoramina, Mount Etna, Syracusa and Ragusa with sone great swimming spots near by. When we couldn’t be bothered to cook the takeaway pizzas from the restaurant in the village were great and good value.
The vast amounts of litter by the roadsides though did spoil things a bit, especially when recycling is encouraged at all the major tourist attractions!

Wonderful Villa
Rented this fantastic villa for a week. Anne was super helpful with any questions before our stay. Villa was very clean, great modern decor and furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms and bedrooms good sizes. Air conditioning in every room. Gardens were beautiful and lots of space outside so could choose whether sun or shade. Pool a great size and lovely and clean. It really felt like home from home. Anne is a super host and so helpful, I would recommend this villa highly.

Wonderful Villa
The property is located on a quiet cul-de-sac near the train station a 15 minute walk from the beautiful beech, cafe’s, mini market and a couple of restaurants located in the “unspoilt” Fontaine Bianche. The villa itself feels newly renovated and set in a well established garden which has a small orange grove as well as lemon trees which produced the most flavoursome lemons we have ever experienced. The pool is an absolute necessity and was used daily by the family, especially the diving board!
Inside the accommodation you have a second floor “attic” which is basically an en-suite large bedroom with an outside terrace that could easily sleep 4 people. On the ground floor you have two good sized double bedrooms a great kitchen and lounge area with a family bathroom. We spent most of our time outside on the terrace enjoying the weather, BBQ, gardens and pool with its own outside shower.
Anne, the host, was easily contactable and a joy to deal with before and during the holiday and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Believe the reviews, this is a real hidden gem so much so my wife suggested not leaving a review and keeping it a secret as we will definitely be back.

Sizilien im Herbst
Wir waren im November in Fontane Biance. Dies war ein gewisses Wagnis.
Aber wir wurden durch einige schöne Sonnentage, an denen wir den tollen Pool nutzen und auch im Meer schwimmen konnten, belohnt. Auch Sturm und Regen bei Temperaturen von 18 bis 20 Grad lassen sich in dem schönen und gut ausgestatteten Anwesen gut aushalten.

A wonderful place to stay
This property was probably the best place we have stayed in nearly 20 years of visiting Italy.
Anne the owner and her husband Luigi were really good at responding to any enquiries and sorting out one or two small problems.
The house is very well equipped and comfortable and was perfect for our group of 5 adults. In particular, the mansard with its own entrance, bathroom and small terrace was great for my son and his partner as it gave them some privacy away from the rest of the family.
The real star though, is the beautiful, secluded garden and the fabulous pool. It was a pleasure to get up each morning and relax in such lovely surroundings.
We knew the area a little beforehand, having been to this part of Sicily before, but still found new places to explore, locally and further afield. Fontane Bianche has some lovely beaches, especially if you are prepared to travel a short distance along the coast. The town of Cassibile, a short distance away, has all the food shops you could want: fishmongers, baker, butchers and supermarkets as well as some good restaurants. The food, especially the seafood, is wonderful locally. We discovered the Gran Cava di Cassibile a short if mountainous drive from the house and a strenuous climb down to the most spectacular gorge with clear water lakes, popular with Italians even out of season and worth the climb.
We visited in September, which was lovely; not too hot and fewer tourists.
There is even a little train station a short walk from the house, where you can get a train to Siracusa, Noto and other of the 'baroque' cities further west. We had a hire car, but it would be perfectly possible to stay without one, although the trains are not very frequent.
We had a wonderful holiday and are hoping very much to return.

Gemühtliches Ferienhaus für Familien
Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit großem Pool und sehr gepflegtem Garten.
Haben unseren Urlaub mit den Kindern genossen. Sehr ruhige Gegend. Leider ist in Fontane Bianche selbst wenig geboten vor allem abends - kein Lungomare zum Spazieren oder Shoppen. Man kann aber mit dem Auto gut die benachbarten Orte erreichen.
Die Vermieter konnten wir bei Fragen und Lösungen sehr gut kontaktieren. Frau Georg war sehr bemüht, dass alles gepasst hat. Bei Ankunft stand für uns eine Flasche Wasser und Wein auf

Schönes Ferienhaus mit eigenem Pool
Das Ferienhaus befindet sich im kleinen Ort Fontane Bianche. Vom Flughafen Catania ca. 60 Minuten. Bis zum Meer (Bucht) sind es etwa 15 Minuten bergab zu laufen. Zurück dann natürlich ein bisschen mehr! Das Haus liegt in einer Sackgasse und somit ist es dort sehr ruhig. Beim öffnen des Eingangstores waren wir sofort begeistert. Man schaut direkt auf den großzügigen Pool der regelmäßig gereinigt wird und in den wirklich wunderschönen angelegten Garten. Es ist wie eine Oase wenn man das Grundstück betritt. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl Gefühl. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Küche befindet sich ein großer Gasherd, genügend Arbeitsfläche, eine große Kühl- Gefrierkombination und eine Spülmaschine! Draußen befindet sich auch noch ein gemauerter Grill und eine Outdoordusche. Alle Schlafzimmer sind mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet, die im Hochsommer auch sehr wichtig sind und die Fenster hatten Mückengitter. Das untere Badezimmer ist neu mit einer wundervollen Dusche!
Im Obergeschoß ist ausreichend Platz für noch eine Familie zum schlafen und dort befindet sich auch im Badezimmer eine Waschmaschine.
Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Selbst an Schaukeln für Kleinkinder wurde gedacht.
Die Gastgeberin kann ich wirklich empfehlen, sie gibt nützliche Hinweise, sind schnell und zuverlässig zu erreichen und wir fühlten uns wie bei Freunden!

Un petit coin de paradis ...
... ou l'on se sent en pleine harmonie et en sécurité. Magnifique jardin avec grande piscine ou les enfants et les grands se sont bien amusés.
Tout le confort est présent, ce qui ne donne même pas envie de sortir de la propriété. Un excellent contact avec Anne la propriétaire qui a su répondre très rapidement à nos questions diverses et aussi aux petits tracas de la vie quotidienne ! Superbe séjour en famille qui nous a fait oublié le temps de ce séjour cette crise sanitaire, je recommande vivement !!! Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir un jour ...

Schönes Häuschen mit tollem Garten und Pool
Wir haben mit unseren Kindern das Haupthaus bewohnt, die Großeltern waren in der Einliegerwohnung, für alle war reichlich Platz. Das Häuschen ist gemütlich eingerichtet und alles Nötige ist vorhanden. Die meiste Zeit haben wir im schönen Garten und Pool verbracht. Frau Georg war immer erreichbar und stand uns mir Rat und Tat zur Seite. Fontane Bianche ist (zumindest in der Nebensaison) recht ruhig. Zwei Lokale waren fußläufig (mit Kindern 15-20 min Fußweg) zu erreichen. Der Strand ist schön und ebenfalls in ca. 15 min zu erreichen. In der Umgebung gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele. Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen hier verbracht und würden wieder kommen!

Piscine et jardin superbes
Nous recommandons cette maison très agréable, un vrai bonheur d'arriver de l'aéroport de Catane très chaud et de plonger dans la grande piscine ou de se reposer dans le hamac neuf très confortable. La maison a été rénovée récemment et est habitée régulièrement par les propriétaires et donc est très fonctionnelle avec beaucoup de vaisselle et une cuisine qui donne directement sur la terrasse (avec un micro-ondes et une bouilloire ce serait parfait!). On a alors vue sur un jardin très beau et très bien entretenu et sur la superbe piscine. Anne est très réactive et répond rapidement et gentiment. Nos ados ont bien aimé avoir chacun une grande chambre (en bas et en haut) et on peut tenir à deux familles ou avec des amis).
La maison est très bien placée pour visiter la côte est baroque (15 mn de Syracuse, 30mn de Noto, superbe et 1h30 de l'Etna et Taormina). Pour l'Etna pensez à vérifier la méteo avant d'y aller (webcam aussi).
Nous avons bien aimé le petit village d'Ognina à 5km pour les criques et au petit port il y a un très bon bar-restaurant Almyra très sympa (éviter le samedi et le dimanche où les italiens sortent!). On a eu du mal à remonter du laghetti de cassibile (être en bonne forme physique!) mais bien aimé la réserve de Vindicari.
Bref une très bonne adresse et un très bon contact avec la propriétaire.

Lovely villa in a great area
If you like your holiday to be in a location with plenty of local charm, not too many tourists, yet with a fabulous beach within walking distance, then this is perfect for you!
We loved our stay at Anne's villa in Fontane Bianche, the practicality of having the flat upstairs and two bed rooms downstairs was perfect for us. The aircondition worked perfectly, though the amount of time that we spent indoors was very limited.
The pool was great and our son had hours of fun on the diving board.
Location wise, it is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the station where you can catch the train to Syracusa and to Note, 10 minutes leisurely walk to the beach, the small supermarket and a couple of restaurants is great. Though we ended up taking Anne's recommendation and ate most nights in Casibile (3 minutes drive) at one of the two fab restaurants by the church frequented by locals -Thank you for that recommendation and for prompt service when we had a question.

Beautiful property, excellent location and a helpful owner
We loved staying during our holiday in this lovely and well maintained property close to the beautiful beaches of Fontane Bianche. The whole area around Fontane Bianche is easily accessible by car with good supermarkets, lovely beaches and beautiful historical cities to visit, great restaurants with typical delicious food, yummy ice-cream, and there is a good bakery nearby, bar Tortuga, where one can buy snacks.
The layout of the property was great, it has a lovely garden and a wonderful swimming pool which was a delight whenever we were in the property, to refresh from the very hot weather. It was all greatly enjoyable and Anne, the owner, was available and incredibly helpful, kind, efficient at sorting some issues that cropped up on our first days. She generously and patiently helped us to resolve the matter. The three bedrooms were very comfortable, are all air conditioned, which is a must in the summer months. The living room is comfortably furnished , kitchen of good size, with all the necessary appliances, dishwasher included, and there is a washing machine in the room upstairs, there is nothing missing. The room upstairs is huge and the house can comfortably house 8 people. The grounds are great, plenty of space for the children to play around. We all loved it and felt at home staying in this property and hope we can return. Thanks Anne for hosting our family!

Super Ferienhaus für Familien mit fantastischem Pool
Gleich vorweg: ohne die Gastgeber persönlich kennengelernt zu haben, haben wir uns gefühlt wie zu Hause bei Freunden, da jede Frage von Frau Georg umgehend beantwortet wurde und wir darüber hinaus viele Tipps bekommen haben. Das war unheimlich toll und hilfreich!
Das Haus hat alles, was man sich im Urlaub wünschen kann, am meisten geschätzt haben wir die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer und die Mückengitter an den ganzen Fenstern. ;o) Alles war sehr sauber und schön renoviert. Die schöne Mansarde oben haben wir gar nicht genutzt, wäre aber für größere Familien perfekt als 3. Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad und Privatsphäre.
Allerdings, bei diesem sensationellen Garten und Pool haben wir sowieso die wenigste Zeit im Haus verbracht. Beides top gepflegt und einfach nur traumhaft schön angelegt, eigentlich waren die schönsten Tage die, an denen wir das Grundstück gar nicht verlassen haben. ;o)
Den örtlichen Strand kann man zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreichen.

Brilliant host, beautiful Villa - 10/10!
Brilliant host, beautiful Villa, I very much recommend this villa for your stay in Sicily. The location is excellent. This villa really gives you the best of both worlds as the beach and local restaurants are a short 10 minute walk away however the villa is very peaceful, calming and relaxing. The pool is big which makes it lovely to swim / sunbath in – it even got cleaned during our stay!
I really couldn’t recommend this host more! Very helpful and was contactable to answer any questions we had throughout the week of our stay!
