This unusual property has a very Florida tropical setting on a river/canal, but in the midst of a pretty neighborhood, very conveniently located near beaches, restaurants,m and parks.

Great for a family or multi family stay. The house does need some repairs but none that impact your stay. The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive!

There were some things needing repair but Anthony explained he was in process of listing the home for sale. He was very responsive to all of our questions. We loved having different areas of home to spread out the family, lots of space. Our kids really enjoyed the kayaks & fishing in the canal!

Was a great stay! Property owner was available if we need anything but never intruded on our privacy. Will rent again!

Although some repairs need to be done , ie. screen doors, replaced or re-screened, and TV on first floor didn’t have channels for young children ( which is the best area to put parents snd small children), the pool was nice, kayaking on the canal was great.

Anthony was reachable and super helpful and accommodating. Will recommend to all big gatherings. Well worth the price.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! We came in to Ft.Myers for Baseball Tourn. 5 parents and 5 players. This home had everything we needed and more. Was clean, well stocked and homeowner was great and always quick to respond to any questions. Strange how it feels so private in a neighborhood, has beautiful vegetation and decking out back. Great pool and hottub area. We cooked 2 of the 3 meals daily, kitchen was stocked very well. LOTS of room in kitchen/dining/living. We will for sure check it out again if we play in FL again! Thank you again for sharing your gem with us!!

Beautiful house with enough space for the whole family, we had pleasant moments in the pool and the children enjoyed the games a lot. It seems to me that the pool needs more lighting.

Everything was ok, the house look nicer in the picture than it already is. There was some spiders and coaches in the patio next to the pool, house needs some tlc, out needs to be cleaned. There was a smell outside in the back. We couldn't used the pool the first day. But we called the property manager, and he did send someone to clean it, we were able to use it the next day in the afternoon. We have funs anyway.

Peaceful property off the beaten path great for a large family pool and hot tons of fun.

Highly recommend this house. It is very spacious. The teens felt like they had their own apartment downstairs. The canal is awesome. We caught a crab and a few fish. The boys floated down the river. Neighbors were friendly. Close to shopping. The showers are incredible. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, we even had sunscreen, shampoo and conditioner waiting for us. When it rained we were able to sit by the pool as there is a covered picnic area. If you like nature this is the place.

This is a fabulous property just a short drive from everything. Swimming in the pool or fishing/kayaking in the canal kept everyone busy, and relaxing was easy to do at this great house. We will be back.

No need to leave the property. The pool and hot tub were a fun daily activity for the kids. Teens enjoyed sunning themselves on the upper deck and dock, they even took a "cruise" down the canal on the included kayaks. Kitchen/living room was spacious and comfortable. Three different areas for bedrooms. we had grandparents in the king, a family with young children down the other hall. Teens had a room to themselves and we stayed downstairs in the double-double bedroom attached to the game room/2nd living area near the pool! Very spaceous! Great property and hope to visit again!

This home was wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone. Pool was refreshing and great. The backyard was so unique with great wild life. Property owner was very responsive.

We had a wonderful visit. The location was awesome we were close to everything. Very short drives each day. The house was neat, set up different but it worked for us and the kids loved the pool!! Everything was set up nice for us and we had fun cooking and grilling everyday. Anthony was amazing and I had no issues ever getting ahold of him, check in and check out were a breeze. We had everything we needed and there were a ton of grocery stores 2 mins from us! There were two kayaks we didn’t try out but looked fun. Thanks for a wonderful time!

We stayed at this property with 4 total families and had a great time. Each family had privacy and and their own bathrooms. (all bathrooms were fully updated and beautiful) There was a nice little play closet with plenty of toys to keep the little ones entertained. We loved having quiet breakfasts on the 2nd story deck overlooking the creek among the beautiful Florida landscaping.The pool was by far our favorite feature. The pool was enclosed with a large shaded place to sit/eat near the outdoor kitchen. The kids had a blast playing all day at the pool and did not want to leave. They have already requested that we come back the "the mansion" every year!

Was really looking forward to staying at this property, but the pandemic forced us to cancel our trip. Owner wasn't willing to give us a refund, but instead offered a credit for future stay. This was a reasonable solution for us. After the travel restrictions are lifted and this health crisis is under control, we will be excited to finally stay at this property.

With four bedrooms and baths, our group of 10 (6 adults, 4 children) had room to spread out when needed, or to gather together in the large open kitchen/dining/living room. The tropical backyard was vintage Florida and gave the kids room to explore. The kayaks were fun for the canal. The dollhouse, books, and toys were put to good use by the 2 1/2 and 5 year olds. Although I did not personally met the owner, I like to think the decor matched his unique style. It was not "fussy;" we didn't have to worry the kids were going to break or damage something. There was an open stairway that we watched the 2 year old around. The house was well stocked with supplies. One improvement would be manual control of the spa and swimming pool. I enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the view.

We had a family of 7 stay at the house and had no problem with space and everyone having a place to sleep. We were suppose to have 5 more join us, but had to back out at the last minute. The kitchen-great room was a fantastic place to hang out in the morning and the pool-hot tub was were the rest of the time was spent. Thanks for the hospitality.

Perfect house for any kind of stay! its beautiful and fully furnished with everything you could need. wonderful pool and patio, you won't be disappointed!

We spent a wonderful week here with a family of 8 adults and one 19 month old. The home is beautiful and was clean and organized. It felt like living in a tree house at times. The home is spread out so that everyone felt like they had some private space. The 4 bathrooms were great when we were all getting ready to go out. We usually prepare most meals and the kitchen was the best equipped of any VRBO site we have used. There was plenty of large pots and pans needed to feed our family. The home is near shopping areas and restaurants and was easy to shop frequently so that we didn't over buy and have a lot left over. We spent much of our time out of doors around the pool. Our grandson LOVED the playhouse and water table available. The pool has a shallow deck area that is perfect for small children as well as a large swimming area. Anthony contacted us several times to check on our stay and was easy to reach with questions. We would return here and HIGHLY recommend staying in Palm River Estates.

The house and grounds are very spacious and beautiful. The location is ideal- near restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, and the beach. A beautiful screened in pool and relaxing hot tub add to its appeal. The massage chair was amazing and the arcade games and pinball machines were loads of fun. Plenty of room for families to have privacy with four bathrooms and four bedrooms and then gather together in the roomy open concept living room, kitchen and dining area. There are also several nice sitting areas outside with ample chairs. The owner answered questions and concerns promptly. We had a wonderful experience living in this house for the week and would highly recommend it.
