The hospitality of the staff was really good. We appreciate all the effort Sampath put in to make our stay comfortable. Also, the place was very spacious and comfortable, providing a unique experience for me and my family. This is a sort of place that has its own charm, and you have to experience it yourself to know whether you will like it or not. Regardless, would recommend it for anyone making Bandarawela the base to explore the hill country.

Some of the furnishing are a bit old, but that didn't ruin the experience significantly in any way. We appreciate that it is an old bungalow. Also the directions to the bungalow can be better. I suggest to put up signboards to the bungalow. Another suggestion would be to put in brighter lights at least in the living room. It can get a bit dark.

We stayed with a group of 3 families in the Windsor house for 3 nights and had a great stay! - We were welcomed by very friendly staff, that have made us great dinners each evening after we came back from our day trips. The host requested us upfront which food we would like to have as breakfast and dinner and we had amazing food, both Sri Lankan as Western! - The house is beautifully located and well maintained, quiet on a small mountain, perfect for a family stay. During the day we visited the highlights around Ella, and in the evenings we played badminton outside in the gardens house, had nice evenings in the house, even a barbecue on the rooftop. - All was managed extremely well, we had a very good contact with our host before and during our stay.

Only min point were that we needed some more blankets (we were a big group), but after texting the host, we got these right away.
