House was perfect for a family trip to Gatlinburg. Location made it easy to drive into the park without having to go through all the traffic in downtown. Easy drive to and from downtown.

Close to the shops and restaurants. Fairly private. Roomy. We saw bears everyday.

The stay was amazing. Was a short walk to town, the fenced in yard was great for my two dogs and the arcade games and pool table was nice entertainment for the whole family. We did have a visitor on the outside of the fence the last night that decided to nap right next to the house ☺️ All around we were sad we didn’t get to stay longer but we will definitely return.

Had to call for check in, gave us wrong code. Place needs a good cleaning, apparently they don’t check their properties. A lot of dust, spider webs and dirty base boards. Even the envelope to leave a tip was stained. Deck also was dirty with mildew on chair. Not enough sheets, the jacuzzi is also disgusting, makes you smell like mildew. Local to town. Isn’t very friendly to converse with. A bed was broken from a guest sitting on it. Not even near the broken part. The person they had sent out said it was a manufacturing problem and it shouldn’t have done that. Then they decided based on a picture it wasn’t because they’ve been doing this for 15+ years. You would then think they would check on their property. There are nails sticking up, and lots of things in the verge of breaking. Even the other king bed is held up with cinder blocks. Apparently also the insurance doesn’t cover anything, they still want me to pay for their faulty bed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time

Perfect place to have family travel to for my sons wedding in Pigeon Forge . We were able to bring the dogs that were in the wedding and they had a safe place to go out to. Traffic in Gatlinburg was bumper to bumper on weekend so we could walk to downtown to go to dinner, etc

Such a nice property - dog friendly - well stocked - fenced yard - and really nice aesthetic. Excellent property and would not hesitate to stay again.

Wonderful cabin so close to town but feels very private. We are looking forward to booking again.

Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg or to the trolley, had everything we needed for a family Christmas, loved watching the bears from the deck.

We had a wonderful time staying in Homespun Hospitality. The home was clean and there was plenty of room to spread out. Our greatest joy was seeing a black bear from the deck. I would highly recommend.

Great location. Easy to get to. Large area for family. Very comfortable beds. Nice showers. Walking distance to everything.

The cabin was large and well kept. There was more than enough room for everyone and our pets. Will book here again!

We arrived to our location about 10 minutes early. The cleaning had not been done yet and we were told that the housekeeper would be done by 4:20, 20 minutes after our check in time. They didn't show up until after 4:20, they cleand quickly and got us in. The house could use a deep cleaning, the floorboards,need to be cleaned. The windows need to be cleaned and other deep cleaning items need to be addressed. We got to see three black bears that were hanging out around the cabin. One came up under the deck. All in all we had a great time. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin.

Our 3rd time staying here. Perfect location, easy walk to downtown Gaitlinburg attractions, plenty of room, fenced in yard for the dog. Bear sightings every day! Short drive to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

Rooms were nice size. Location was perfect. We easily walked to downtown Gatlinburg but were still in the woods.

We had a great time at this property, it was clean & spacious, blocks away from downtown Gatlinburg, yet still very private. I definitely recommend this home if you are looking to be close to shopping, food, and entertainment.

We just got back from a week stay here and we had a great time ! There is SO much positive to say about this place but a few con’s which I’ll list first - the house states it sleeps 16 BUT 3 of the pull out couches are pure metal springs and not useable we ended up sleeping without them open as a single sleeper couch and contemplating getting an air mattress or two , the master shower does not drain , the pool sticks are broken only 1 was useable , the carpet upstairs in living room needs a good washing feet were black after walking on it and the dishwasher needs upgrading the bottom rack has no rollers so it wouldn’t slide in and out BUT those are minor details compared to the amazingness of this house ! the location is AMAZING less then a 10 minute walk to downtown , 3 min drive to the entrance of the Smokey mountains and 17 min drive to Dollywood , the hot tub was a huge hit nightly after a long day of walking and exploring , the house is large SO much space to spread out relax and enjoy , 3 bathrooms , 4 bedrooms , 2 living rooms ! The owner is very kind , responds immediately and super accommodating she lets us check in hours before check in for we arrived early after driving 19 hours , the fully fenced in yard was nice for the dogs and the back porch is so welcoming and relaxing we even were able to sit and watch a bear cross through the back woods and through our yard the kids LOVED that beyond words ! Thank you so much for opening your home to us!!

The house was clean and had plenty of space for all of us (7 adults, 3 kids & 2 small dogs). Everyone enjoyed the game room, and it was so nice to have a fenced in yard for the dogs. The kitchen was well stocked. We also had a couple bear visits near the house, which we all enjoyed seeing. Overall, would recommend for a small family vacation.

It could have been a little cleaner. For the most part it was clean but if you looked under the beds, there was a lot of “stuff” that should have been swept up. Not a huge deal but we did notice. There is no longer an air hockey table there, not a big deal either, but if it’s not there then it should be removed from the pictures and description. There was certainly no promise of a baby gate, and I did not expect one but if it’s there, and anything else that is there, it should be in proper working order or else be removed. Even with all that said I think the cabin itself was beautiful and spacious and well priced. Location is perfect! I was skeptical about what they were calling “walking distance” to town but it really was a reasonable walking distance yet tucked away in the woods and plenty of privacy. I would not hesitate to stay here again. When I first started writing this review I felt like I was being a little too harsh because over-all we LOVED this cabin. Kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans, dishes, griddles, and many other things we would not have expected. This is a very spacious cabin, oversized bedrooms with nice furnishings. If I remember correctly it advertises that it sleeps 14. It sleeps 14 more than comfortably. Ideal for a large family with plenty of room for personal space. THE BEARS! If you are hopeful about a bear sighting then you’re in luck! Maybe not for everyone but we were thrilled. A lot of bears around this cabin 🐻

The property was not as clean as we expected upon arrival. Dishes, cookware, and silverware were all put away dirty and with food on them. There was also a griddle that was so greasy. Also, several conveniences in the kitchen (toaster, griddle, dishwasher, coffee pot) either didn’t work or were difficult to use (because the buttons were so worn you couldn’t see the functions). The dishwasher lower rack is missing wheels so it’s hard to load. The drawers in the refrigerator don’t fit properly, so they are hard to use. Again, these are all conveniences that just aren’t as convenient as one might expect, but overall the cabin was nice. The hot tub needed to air out for a few hours because of chemical buildup under the cover, so we didn’t get to use that. It would have been nice to have been told ahead of time about the cover and how the chemicals can build up. The bathroom door upstairs doesn’t lock, and the shower in the master wouldn’t drain (but the owner did respond immediately to fix this). There was a lot of pet hair left We had four adults, a teenager, a pre-teen, a young child, and a toddler, and there was plenty of room! The game room is a nice feature for the kids, who really enjoyed playing pool (but there were only 2 pool sticks that could be used because the tips were off of the others). We saw bears in the yard and around the neighborhood, which was what we were hoping for!!! The cabin has a very secluded feel, but it is only a 10 minute walk from downtown.

Had a wonderful stay. The fenced in yard for our dogs was a real plus. The close walk downtown and to Gatlinburg trail was great. Plenty of room for our three families. Bear sightings almost every night. Kids enjoyed the whirl pool on the porch and game room in the basement. Very clean.

I am a beginner with using Vrbo and I found the rental process was so easy. Any questions were answered quickly. Check in and check out were seamless.

Very nice cabin with nice amenities. When we arrived there was a bear in the front yard to greet us. It was very neat to see a bear. I could not locate any check out instructions. The coffee pot was difficult to use. But overall a great cabin.

Location of propery was fantastic only minutes to walk to downtown Gatlinburg. We had a couple items that needed attention and the promptness and communication with the host was rapid and quickly resolved the items needing repair. We will definitely rent this house again!

We could not be happier with this stay! We had 6 adults and 8 kids, ages 9-15, and we had plenty of room. Some kids slept on couches or pull out mattresses (pullout mattresses were not comfortable at all but we put the lighter kids on them and they were fine). All the couches were oversized and super comfy so teens were happy there. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for cooking, towels, toiletries, etc. Also had plenty of parking for our 3 oversized SUVs and room for a few more. Location was AWESOME! Felt like we were in the woods but super close to everything! Never had to drive once we arrived. We came here to ski on Ober mountain and the cabin was a safe 10 minute walk to the tramway mall to ride up to Ober. We were also just a 12 minute, safe walk to downtown Gatlinburg which was great for eating out, shopping, and extra fun activities for kids to do. **PLEASE NOTE - there is a small hill to walk up getting back to cabin; it didn’t bother us much but if you’re not in semi-ok shape, could be a little hard. I would definitely stay here again!

This perfect cabin is located at the northern end of Gatlinburg and easily accessible to restaurants and activities. Had it not been so cold and raining we would have walked from there. It's very cozy but also lots of room. The gameroom downstairs was great and the two large sofas on the main area with the fireplace was perfect. Will definitely stay here again!
