Absolutely loved the cabin and Mt Laurel is amazing. This is the best cabin we have ever stayed in. Relaxing on the porch watching bears wonder around, climbing trees and coming on the porch to enjoy our laughter. This place is absolutely amazing !

Mountain Hideaway is an exceptionally nice property. Our entire family from grandparents to grandchildren enjoyed staying here. The property is conveniently located and boasts a spectacular view of the Smoky Mountains. The property is well maintained and in great condition overall. It is large and roomy and has up to date appliances and fixtures making it a very comfortable home away from home. And, as always, the Mountain Laurel team was a pleasure to work with. From the time we made our reservation till the time we checked out, everything was amazing. The staff and service at Mountain Laurel us second to none and this house, as well as the other 3 we have stayed in, did not disappoint. The house is spacious and all bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The seating was plentiful and comfortable for 6 adults. The house was clean and we had everything we needed for the 4 day stay. A+ rating.

The cabin was spacious for 9 including 5 adults, 2 young adults and 1 teen. Unlike many cabins we observed, our view of the mountains was not obscured. We could watch the clouds continually changing over the mountains. Caution: one must be compatible to nearby and frequent bear traffic.

Immaculate and bug!
This property was spotless and had everything you could need! The house was so big that it definitely masked a lot of sound/noise! Plenty of room to space out. We loved it! The only suggestions I would have are to provide hair dryers (but it was mentioned at booking to bring your own) and a propane grill (it also mentioned to bring charcoal, etc). Just don't feel like messing with all that on vacation and being in the mountain, limited places to find nearby to purchase.

Absolutely the best cabin I have stayed in. Mt. Laurel makes everything very simple. This cabin has everything for a perfect vacation. Easy access, plenty of parking, plenty of space inside and the porch is amazing. We had several occasions were the bears would visit with the highlight being mama bear and three Cubs. I really can’t describe how nice this cabin is. If this cabin ever goes on the market I would definitely be interested. We loved it. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We only stay with MT LAUREL CHALETS and as usual everybody was friendly. The Mountain Hideaway was nice and had plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 children. We had a bear visit us twice we one visit lasting over half an hour. Would recommend this chalet to family and friends.

From the moment that we entered the cabin upon arrival we were in love! The cabin smelled so fresh and clean. There was everything needed to cook with the exception of spices. We had two families staying and there was still plenty of space for us to spread out. The kids had a blast watching movies at the end of our day in the movie room, but honestly most days we were all too tired from the days adventures. Overall beautiful well cared for cabin that we will rent again next time we come down!

Peaceful location surrounded by nature but very close to Gatlinburg. Loved the full size washer and dryer - Kitchen is completely ready for meal preparation with high quality pans/skillets and dishes. Nice flat parking for several vehicles, which isn't always the case when renting a place on the mountain. Property is well taken care of and it is obvious the owner's care about a quality experience. Excellent customer service - no issues - cannot wait to stay again!
