The shower can only be described as spongy, you felt like you were going to crash through below when you were in it and it had no drain cover and did not drain properly. I would also suggest that the kitchen stock be revisited, there were no big pots and the frying pans need to be replaced.

The lighting in the kitchen came from spotlights in the living room. The kitchen was not fully equipped and the pots/pans that were provided were in poor condition. Condo security was called to our unit two of the nights (before 10pm) due to a noise complaint when we were all sitting playing cards, I believe the noise came from the kitchen chairs being moved on the floor creating noise for those below us. If you plan to stay up past 9pm this is not the rental for you. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper provided in each bathroom for a condo that can sleep 8 people, with 2 rolls of paper towels. We had to purchase our own in a condo that was renting for over $1,000/night. The only upside was that plenty of towels were provided for the guests. Rental is located close to the mountain unit is very bare bones.

I booked my stay very late and this was one of the only property I could find to fit my group. The reviews said that it was sparkling clean and well equipped. I will say in my opinion the kitchen was sparsely equipped and the entire rental is really in need of a renovation. The kitchen table was still sticky when we arrived and the dishes in the cabinets were dirty, especially the glasses, we had to wash them. We also found food on plates in the cabinets. The rest of the condo was reasonably clean. The bathroom on the second floor was especially depressing. The drain cover was missing and it fills with water when you are showering. It also feels like you may fall through the floor as it feels so spongy. I would also like to suggest that the shower curtain liner be changed with each new renter. The dollar store has them, they had visable soap scum on them. The kitchen cabinets are peeling as well and the counter top has burns etc. The furniture is so worn that there is plastic under the cushions to camoflage how bad the cushions are. If all you care about is location then this is the place for you. I would not go back. On a positive side the check in process was effortless and the rental agency a pleasure to deal with. And the location was great.

Great location ! Should note on rental info it is on second floor in terms of carrying things up in case renting to elderly. Furniture in need of updating . Mattress covers need replacement . 2nd Bathroom tiny. Should have some general information and instructions in unit regarding shuttle location and timing ; ski maps . A bit crowded with 9 people. A little smaller than expected but at the same time cozy . Encourages lots of interactions.

Comfortable couch and great showers, it had plenty of room for couples and then some. My only complaints were the beds are uncomfortable like the mattress are old and need replaced. The temperature is very hard to regulate in the upstairs bedrooms. And no TVs in the bedrooms. Other then that the ski home trail is awesome and the location is perfect

The condo was clean and the kitchen had everything necessary for breakfast or cooking a quick dinner. The sofa in the living room was nice and cosy. One thing we were suprised by is that the bedroom with the 4 bunkbeds has a window, but not one you can open. Not easy to cool this room when it is too hot. The condo, while being clean, has a bit of a tired feel. Here a few examples: the upstairs bedroom window has mold on the inside. The windows in two bedrooms downstairs we had trouble opening and closing (the mechanism to open and close them were broken). Both bathrooms, while operational, have watermarks and stained grout and other signs of "wear and tear". So all is all a clean place to stay with close to the slopes.

We would all drive to the lifts in the morning and then use the shuttle to come home as different people wanted to ski for different amounts of time. The lock box with a code made it hassle free for not having to share a key. The house was clean and well equipped for a vacation stay. If you are looking for a condo that is gourmet and updated this is not it, but it was very comfortable, and clean, and had everything we needed.The gas fireplace was a great way to dry out all our wet clothes at the end of the day. I would definately rent this place again, and the rental agency was great to deal with.

Reviewer Comments: I rented this place from Feb. 19-21 (2016) for a skitrip with a group of 7 friends. It's a nice condo which really sleeps 10, so plenty of room for us. Bathrooms and kitchen were decent, the gas fireplace was nice. Some of the heaters did not seem to work, but the working heaters and the fireplace were enough to get the condo comfortably warm. The 10am checkout seems a bit early, but is manageable if you want to be on the slopes early enough to get the most out of your last day of skiing. The location is great, just minutes from the slopes with the shuttlebus.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Whiffletree D8. The location was great. Quick ride on the frequent shuttle to the mountain. Great unit. We had a late arrival (10pm) and notified the management company accordingly. Upon on arrival we raised the heat in the unit. While the bedrooms were fine, the heat in the common areas (which is large because of the open 2 story ceiling) did not work. The room was about 55 degrees. Of course, it took a while before we realized it wasn't working as we gave it some time given the size of the room. We called the mgmt company and they sent out a technician to help us - unfortunately it was 1am when the technician arrived. Putting aside the problem with the heat, given that we indicated it was a late arrival it would have been nice if the heat was turned on before we arrived so that 1, the place was warm so late at night and 2, they would have found the problem. The problem turned out to be that the gas fireplace was not "on", but rather left in the "pilot" position. This should have been checked prior to our arrival given that this is the only heat source for the common areas of the unit.
