Todo estaba genial y tiene todas las comodidades. Se estaba muy calentito, el sofá cama es súper cómodo y en la cocina tienes todos los utensilios que puedas esperar. Además se dispone de aceite, sal, café y especias. A parte de todo esto, la ubicación es espectacular ya que está en un caminito al lado de la carretera principal. Si volvemos a Islandia, volveremos a alojarnos aquí sin duda.
El lavamanos del wc no traga bien.

The house was spacious, easy to find right off the main road. Easy communication with the host and detailed instructions were provided well ahead of the check in. Comfortable beds, kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We only stayed one night but wouldn’t hesitate to stay longer. Great place!

The location was good for accessing the glaciers for a walk/boat trip and the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 and the sofa bed was comfortable.

Great location as a base to go to both Vatnajokull and Skaftafell parks. Beautiful views.
Kitchen, bathroom and living area were clean, basic and functional but nothing to get excited about.

soundproof to the adjoining apartment is not great, can clearly hear next door any time they talk, walk or move furniture around. Shower drainage is really slow.

Very nice location, beautiful view on the mountain and prefect for a stop between Vik and Jokulsarlon.
The beds are very comfortable and it has everything you need for a short stay.
The appartment wasn't clean. The bathroom especially was dirty :(

Nearest supermarket is 1.5hrs drive away. We were travelling with a baby and we couldn't guage the scarcity of food before we arrive.

Apartment style guesthouse, self-service, coffee available. Clean and comfortable.
We arrived after dark and there was no one there (which was already informed) BUT they did not send the instructions to get it beforehand, just after we wrote to them already being at the door (lucky enough we had phone service).

Just what you need for 1 night. We were a group of 5 and I think there was enough space for all. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our brief stay at Kalfafell.

There is no much acommodation offer between Vik and Hofn and the location is very convenient next to Road 1. Self check-in and early check-in allowed.

Wifi could be better, not share with the other unit.
