This apartment house is great for stay. Is very close to Troulakis beach with great beach restaurant with super helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable and modern equipped. Best thing is pool with nice surrounding. Benefit is water cleaned by salt technology. I can give only 10 stars 🌟 to this property at all. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and the owner's always helpful approach

Well equiped, very clean and modern rooms , pool area modern and clean . Hosts lovely , personal Greek touches with welcome lemon drink , olives and olive oil from YAYA.

Shame that late check out was not available. The air con in the two rooms is connected so it wouldn't work if the other room had a window open even if the door was closed which was problematic for us as we would have preferred to sleep with it on while the other room preferred the windows open

Great Staff, always helped with everything we needed or asked! The apartments are very modern, new and luxurious. The breakfast daily was great, typical Greek and LOTS! It was also directly delivered to our room. Overall the whole facility was super clean and so nicely designed. We were very happy!

The breakfast was FAR too much for two people. It's a weird complaint, but we had to throw away some food we couldn't finish. We asked to reduce the amount and that was promptly done and still we couldn't finish all of it! For people who eat a lot for breakfast this is heaven, for us it was just too much. The air con in the bedrooms is always glowing. We had to turn them off through the electricity breaker. Keep that in mind if you're sensetive with light during the night.

The apartment was fantastic. While it was on the main strip, once the windows were closed, you really could hear nothing and even with the windows open, it wasn't noisy, just a good happy buzz. Who ever designed the place, really thought of everything. I would say it is the best holiday apartment I have stayed in and I have stayed in many. It is very well laid out, with added touches that made it feel like a hotel stay. I hadn't expected a housekeeper to come every day but she did and she was just superb. Not only was the apartment kept sparkling, so was the pool area. The pool itself was also spotless, I regularly saw this little machine, working its way around the floor of the pool, keeping it clean. The air conditioning in the apartment was amazing. A bit too amazing, my partner had us sleeping in temperatures akin to an igloo. I found the location really excellent. It is at the end of one town and the start of another, making it an ideal starting point for exploring the two towns. I was travelling with young adults (college students) and they enjoyed themselves. The location is lively but I wouldn't say it is a 'party' town. We found some really excellent restaurants (from traditional to take-aways). The beach is a stones throw but the pool is so perfect we barely ventured to the beach (not great sand lovers :)) The hotel across the road is also a well known resort, so ideal for arranging pick ups for tours. You can also hop on the main bus and it will take you into the Chania, which I would recommend. Residents get a discount for the shop downstairs, which came in handy for beach towels, swim shorts, gifts we bought. The hosts were lovely.

Nothing to do with the accommodation but for a busy location it was hard in advance of arrival to find airport transfer options, other than by taxi. We did eventually find coach options for our return to the airport.

We had a lovely stay in one of the rooms. The room was very luxurious and nice and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The jacuzzi in the balcony was perfect to relax in after a long day of activities. The room was cleaned every day and the staff was really nice and helpfull. When we checked in they had the best homemade lemonade.

The shower was a bit small and it took a long time before the water was warm, the temperature also changed a lot while in the shower. But this was a minor inconvenience which did not change anything to our experience.

The cleaness of the appartment and everywhere on site was to a high standard. The location was brilliant to either a 10 min walk into Platanias 1 way or 10 min walk the other way further into Agia Marina. Beds very comfy.

The air conditioning was a little slow to get the room to bearable temperture. Only something very minor and we adapted.

Great place to stay! Very comfortable, clean apartment with everything what needed! High standard with jacuzzi at the tarase! Cosy swiming poom with comfy sun beds - always free to use whenever you need. We have chosen option with breakfast and you have really "king" breakfast, delivered to your room. Not possible to eat all at once :) last but not least - very professional and super friendly staff - it's family business and everybody were always kind and helpfull, making sure you have pleasant stay. I strongly recommend the place !!!

The apartments and communical areas spotlessly clean, very modern with homely features. The location is perfect for the beach, bars and restaurants. Lovely area of crete, will definitely return to these apartments.

We are regular travelers and would rate Sun Ray's place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Also close to a big supermarket which was handy, and a few steps to dozens of restaurants and beaches. Communication with the host was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful apartment perfect to fit a small family, 2 couples, or a group of 4.

Couldn’t get a late checkout without paying €250. This ended up as no problem as we were allowed to keep our towels and use the pool, shower and facilities.

the location (Patanias is too touristic), the hotel is too small, which makes that anyone stays around the miniscule pool makes noise for all the rooms around. It seems it is possible to make noise until midnight... There is no permanent reception.

Firstly, cleanliness, every day a person clean the room deeply and everything was as a first day.

Wifi signal is poor on the balcony, so in many moments I need to use my roaming data.

The property was spotless, beds were comfortable and I loved the pool and my large verandah.

It would have been better if there was air con everywhere and not just the bedrooms, but it was fine.

This apartment really exceeded our expectations!! The place was super clean, big and comfortable. It was not too busy so we always had access to the common areas such as the pool and sun beds. The staff were super helpful, booked taxis for us, gave us great recommendations and were always helpful when we asked for support. They were super attentive in all aspects! The location is also perfect. We were 1 minute walking away from the beach, 1 minute walk to the closest supermarket and next to many restaurants to eat out. Overall we had the best time!

the apartment was very well equipped with everything you’d ever need! it was very clean and lovely inside. the bed were super comfy and the balcony was really nice to sit and relax. the staff were very welcoming and were super friendly people which made the stay a lot better.
