This flat consist of 1st and second floor of a nice large house in a very nice suburb of Copenhagen (appr. 6 Km from the centre). The ground floor is occupied by the very friendly hosts who welcomed us and explained all the details of the flat. The first thing that strikes you is the homely feeling with several nick nacks. This is like staying in somebody's welcoming home in spite of the totally privacy you encounter, a typical home from home. The kitchen is of adequate size and offers what you need for a fully self contained living. The dining room nice and with access the a large terrasse with outdoor furniture we could not enjoy in December. The lounge with a couple of sofas and a large TV with all features such as Netflix, Prime, Internet access etc. The bathroom is large and offers a nice shower. In addition there is a large capacity washing machine and a efficient tumble drier. On the top floor we had a spacious landing area with a work table and an extra sofa. The two bedrooms are adequate, but a bit lacking in bedside tables and lighting. Parking is right in front of the house, definitely a bonus. Would we come back? YES!

As mentioned above, lack of better bedside tables and lamps. The main double super king size bed we used was equipped with a very soft memory foam mattress. Not my style, but obviously right for many other people.

The hostess was very friendly. The apartment is very spacious, fully equipped and spotless. There was soda and beer in the fridge, a filled fruit bowl on the table and there were cookies and chocolates to welcome us. The car can be parked in front of the apartment for free. The apartment is less than 10 minutes' walk from Vangede train station with good connections to the center of Copenhagen. Opposite the station is a Lidl supermarket that is open every day until 10 p.m.

Nothing

Spacious, in a quiet area with local facilities, frequent trains to Copenhagen and there were little extras left by the host which made it very special including a Christmas tree.

The hosts are so friendly. We had to stay longer, because my husband was taken to hospital. They made a great effort to let us stay longer, untill it was booked by somebody else. Also when we arrived there were some fresh baked cookies. It was a home away from home.

The floors are squaking a bit and it was a bit warm, but nothing too bad. It was a wonderful appartement.
