It was very clean and modern and the bed was extremely comfortable and my wife slept like a baby

The room was a nice size. Loved the stone walling and the courtyard was lovely. Unfortunately the weather was not nice enough to sit out there.

Everything, basically! Great comms beforehand; easy to find; plenty of parking and a friendly, efficient welcome. The room was very well equipped - and immaculate. The breakfast choice was wide and the food was fresh and well cooked.
But the real selling point was the friendliness and helpfulness of Cara and Steve. Nothing was too much trouble and they really did seem pleased to see us and do one or two favours. They're just natural hosts and we can only wish them every success and happiness. Oh, and the dogs are great too!!

We used the B and B as a stop from home to Truro and to visit relations in nearby Sidmouth. The location was most convenient. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. The service was really first class. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast excellent in quality and choice.

We were on a roadtrip, and had seen many B&Bs, but Cara and Steve's B&B do easily beat all we had before. Really lovely rooms, amazing hosts and a fresh breakfast directly brought to your room by Cara and Steve... If you are in the area of Exeter/Honiton I cannot imagine a better place to stay.

The owners were friendly and very accommodating. I had a lovely greeting on arrival from the Great Dane leaning over the stable door 😄
The only thing I think they could have improved upon is the pillows, I found them very hard. I also found the tv a little difficult to operate. It is not a well known make and not intuitive (for me!).

Everything, first class individual units tastefully decorated, spotless, with lovely extras such as fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge, cooked or continental breakfast is brought to your room at a time that suits you and a range of options are offered, we had cooked both days and it was cooked perfectly. The hosts Cara & Steve are both lovely and so accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely comfortable b and b in a very handy location. Everything you need for a great sleep ; wonderful shower and delicious breakfast. The owners were very accommodating in providing us with a first rate vegan breakfast

Lovely self-contained accommodation, very well thought out. Great shower, bonus to have a kitchenette area. Breakfast delivered to your door by the friendly owners. Perfect stop over for travellers using the A30 too.

What a great place, we were greeted and very well looked after by the hosts who also accepted our dog with open arms, also breakfast was brought to our door on a time of our choosing, Great relaxed feel to the whole place, we will be staying again. Thank you Clara and co so much for making us feel at home.
The property is in a great location with great access to wear we wanted to go, it was very clean and came with a well stocked fridge. The shower was brilliant. my only niggle was a squeaky bed but in no way is this a bad review.

One of the rooms did have a slight damp smell due to a lack of ventilation in the bathroom, but was barely an issue
