Salle d'efficacité 140 pieds carrés. Situé sur la route 1 juste à l'extérieur d'Ellsworth. Propriété calme. Grande cour. Table de pique-nique. Une demi-heure du parc national Acadia à Bar Harbor. Une demi-heure de Bucksport. A une demi-heure de Castine. 20 minutes de Blue Hill. 40 minutes de Winter Harbor. À une demi-heure de Bangor. Et situé dans un endroit rural juste à l'extérieur d'Ellsworth. Chambre privée avec salle de bain privée et toutes les commodités dont vous auriez besoin. De plus, si vous venez après Dark, le GPS semble être plus précis si vous recherchez Google Haven tranquille, retraite cachée au lieu de 664 Bucksport Road. Faites-moi savoir si vous serez ici après la tombée de la nuit afin que je puisse allumer les lumières pour vous dans votre chambre!

The hidden retreat had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

An amazing little gateway apartment! My partner and I had an amazing time while there. Wendy is great and super sweet… also an amazing artist! It was clean, quiet, and easy to navigate. Close enough to Ellsworth and bar harbor but far enough away you don’t have too much traffic to worry about.

My stay here was wonderful. The room was the perfect for me, but could have easily accommodated a second person. The area is quiet, clean, and safe. The drive to the southern part of Acadia National Park took about thirty-five to forty minutes...not bad at all in my mind. I will definitely stay here again when I am back that way.

Wendy’s efficiency room worked well for our needs. It’s small but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. She made the check-in and checkout process easy. We enjoyed our stay!

Awesome place to stay, close to the Acadia area!

The property owner was clear about finding this place. It was almost impossible to find, even in the daytime. And then once we found it, I was angered beyond belief. It was tiny, it was dirty, and I am still angry after a week. The appliances looked like they'd never been cleaned. I didn't inspect the "bathroom". I knew I would never relieve my bowels in it. The shower stall, well, NO and NO and NO. We had to hurriedly find another place to stay in a sold-out town. You should know that VRBO, if it has ever inspected this place, is horribly at fault.

Wendy was a great and gracious host. Hidden Retreat was perfect for us. We homebased from there and visited Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, Lubec, Old Town, and many other locations along the Bold Coast.

The place was clean, neat, and homey. Every thing we needed for our trip. Off the beaten trail and quite.
It was alitte farther from bar harbor then we thought but not terrible, about 40 mins.

Wonderful little property. If you’re wanting something out of the way but still close by to Acadia, this is the place! Avoids the crowds, but definitely be prepared for the drive in (about 45 minutes with traffic).

Wendy was very communicative and friendly. The room was impeccably clean and had ever we could need. There was a small kitchen equipped with basics, and the bathroom also had all we needed We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great tiny apartment with shower, stove, microwave, tv and a comfortable bed. Everything you need. Great experience.

Everything I needed in a small package
Everything went very smoothly. It started with checking in. Wendy Jo went out of her way to let me check in before the usual check in time so I could spend most of the day in Acadia. The room had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the pillows (nice and firm) were the best I have had at any rental (including hotels) that I can recall. The rental was convenient to Ellsworth and Acadia and an easy day trip to Campobello with a very pleasant drive. It all resulted in a very pleasant weekend.

Wendy was a super host! She was quick to answer any questions I sent her way. If I could rate her Hidden Retreat higher than 100% I would.
I stayed there for a 11 nights, and that was some of the best sleep I've had in a long time. I really liked how clean the room was upon checking in. Take my word, you will enjoy this little retreat.

Wendy's Hidden Retreat
Wendy was such a wonderful hostess! She was quick to respond and made sure we knew where we were going as well as greeted us on arrival to make sure we knew which quaint spot we were staying in. The room was perfect for what we needed, Wendy provided everything, and it was close distance to Arcadia National Park. I regret we could only stay one night, but I hope to book again in the near future!

Great retreat place!
Great location near Bangor and Bar Harbor. Only a few miles out of Ellsworth. Clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again.
