Breakfast was incredibly tasty, and theres a few different options, location was great and the manager was incredibly friendly and did everything he could to make sure our stay was pleasant.

The parking was a bit of a surprise as we had read reviews which indicated there were spaces but that has since changed, (the owner did leave us a bottle of wine as an apology for the crossed wires) there are 4 spaces available as one is reserved for another cafe (they left us a note and a cone when we had parked in their spot) the only other issue we found was that during our stay there was scaffolding which we weren't aware of which meant the views were obstructed a bit, the manager did resolve this for us in the way of upgrading our room for one night which was very much appreciated.

Great location in centre of Grasmere. Lovely rooms with nice decor and nice big bathroom. Comfortable bed. Very quiet location for good nights sleep. Staff friendly and helpful at breakfast. Full English in the morning very tasty.

Breakfast only served between 8am and 9am so not much choice of time. Heating came on a timer at 6:45pm so room very warm - luckily could turn down thermostat and a fan also provided in room but heating didn’t seem necessary during summer months.

Location perfect, vegan breakfast fantastic and the staff were lovely and happy

The really low beams in Room 4 - they are structural and add character but we are tall so was a bit uncomfortable

Excellent location in Grasmere. The bedroom (4) was a good size and very clean. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Very good breakfast with a choice of menu. Car parking provided.

guests being disrespectful waking us up at 5 am banging and shouting . shower tray issue x filled sink with water but on draining dirty water came up through the shower tray

Lovely property room was sweet not as big as pictures lead to believe.

Bed on one side very close to Wall no bedside cabinet. Very noisy from people upstairs moving about and birds had nested in roof above bathroom so all could hear was that every 5 minutes.
