Our family spent a week at Alcides property in April and had a wonderful time. The views are stunning, the pool is cool and refreshing and there was plenty of space for our oversized group to spread out (6 people- my husband and myself our son, my husband's mother, sister and nephew). We enjoyed cooking meals together in the kitchen and on the BBQ, and found the open concept space perfect for enjoying each other's company. It's worth mentioning that the house is situated at the top of a very steep hill. This makes for stunning views and hairy driving. Ascending/ descending the driveway in a car was outside my normal level of comfort - but thankfully my Brazilian husband and the taxi cabs were not bothered by it and we got up and down the hill without any issues. If it weren't for the hill, I'd say a car is not necessary- but it really did make things easier having one. Since I can't drive a stick and my husband likes to sleep in- I enjoyed walking to nearby shops and bakeries in the morning. I was very pleased with the number of places that we could actually walk to from the house- and with the amount of English spoken in Buzios (which seemed like much more than most places in Brazil!!) I have a feeling this next comment is not so specific to this house- but rather to Buzios in general... On nights when there was a breeze- the house was perfection. But- on nights when the wind wasn't blowing- there were some very serious mosquitos!! Next time I will pack more bug spray and maybe mosquito nets. Overall a wonderful stay at a wonderful property. I miss waking up to those views and look very much forward to coming back again!

Fiquei 6 Noites na casa do Sr. Alcides (anfitrião) , a casa é exatamente como podem ver nas fotos , a arquitetura da casa é muito perfeita, consegue misturar o simples com o sofisticado , tudo funciona, uma cozinha perfeita para fazer uma janta para os amigos, a vista da mesa de Jantar é linda, todos os quartos com vista linda, excelente recepção do Anfitrião , nos sentimos muito a vontade na casa, e fica bem no meio de tudo, para ir ao centrinho com lojas e restaurantes ou para qualquer outra coisa, fica muito proximo.... eu indicaria essa casa para qualquer amigo ou parente de olhos fechados . Fica aqui o meu Agradecimento ao Anfitrião SR. Alcides e o meu até logo , quero voltar ainda este ano, dessa vez levarei meus pais para conhecer essas lindas praias e aproveitar todo o conforto dessa bela residencia!

Fui con mi familia en semana de turismo a Buzios. Nos hospedamos en la casa de Alcides y la verdad fue un placer. Llegamos el domingo a ultima hora y alcides nos espero para llevarnos hasta la casa y ubicarnos. La casa es muy linda tal cual se muestra en las fotos. Muy comoda y amplia con una vista espectacular de la cuidad. Muy bien ubicada a solo 5 minutos del centro. Muchas gracias a Alcides fue muy atento siempre preocupado por si necesitabamos algo. Volveremos!

estuvimos en semana de turismo, la casa muy buena tal cual lo muestran las fotos, comoda, con todo lo necesario, camas confortables y baños completos y dormitorios amplios, la cocina completa, la piscina buenisima y alcides un propietario preocupado por el confort de sus huespedes y atento a todo sin duda volveria

Estuvimos en Febrero en casa de Alcides por una semana. Su preocupación y calidez fueron la primera grata impresión. La casa cumplió con todas nuestras expectativas: cómoda, amplia, buena sala de estar y cocina, e impecables terrazas y baños. Hubo mucho calor esa semana, y el aire acondicionado en los dormitorios ayudó a sobrellevarlo. Definitivamente una gran opción en Buzios, a pesar del complicado acceso, por la pendiente de la subida, que se paga con la vista y la condición de la casa. Volvería de todas maneras!

Estuvimos una semana con mi familia en febrero y nos sobran palabras de agradecimiento hacia Alcides por su amabilidad y atención, siempre bien predispuesto. La casa es excelente, muy cómoda, completa, limpia y con una vista espectacular. Buzios, que ya conocíamos, sigue siendo una ciudad hermosa, con playas de todo tipo y para recomendar, una excursión en barco a Arraial do Cabo. Essa casa contribuiu muito para que fossem maravilhosos os 10 dias que passei em Búzios com minha família. Ela é ampla, confortável, muito arejada, com linda vista, próxima de tudo. O proprietário é atencioso e o valor da locação foi razoável.

Passamos dias muito legais nesta bela casa. A casa é toda envidraçada o que promove uma interação com o ambiente natural exterior. De todos os cômodos usufrui-se de uma bela vista para a cidade e para o mar. A casa encontra-se em bom estado de conservação, tudo funciona a contento. O proprietário nos recebeu muito bem e foi atencioso o tempo todo.A localização também é muito boa. Recomendo.

Vista incrível, sala de estar e cozinha impecáveis, quartos aconchegantes, banheiros em ótimo estado e piscina/sauna perfeitas! Tudo isso com um preço excelente e super em conta. Apesar do acesso da casa não ser dos melhores, tem uma localização muito boa, perto das melhores praias, rua das pedras e centro. Além de tudo o dono é super atencioso e simpático, nota mil!

We had use of the main floor with the kitchen, sauna, and pool. Everything was very well maintained. We enjoyed our week in Buzios much more than if we had stayed at a pousada or hotel. From the house we enjoyed walking to several beaches and the town center. Some of the best aspects of staying here were the private parking and the view, the easy access to the town, and the sea breeze. We slept very well because the house is far from any traffic or noise. The owner also works with boat tours and can arrange them for guests. I recommend this home for anyone who wants to visit Buzios and enjoy the town while also having some privacy and peace and quiet. This place is appropriate for couples, families with children, or friends traveling together. It is safe, clean, and comfortable; we look forward to returning!
