Unique
On arrival there were no signs directing you to the accommodation from the car park. The owner did advise me though that she would not be around to greet me that’s all good
I found it but guests arriving after me got confused and were knocking on my door.
So signage would improve your stay dramatically

In the Overton Suite. Well equipped kitchen area. Nice deck and lovely, large garden. Great location just a few minutes from Queenstown and Arrowtown. Very friendly owner Sheena and her dog Balli
The shower was difficult to control and the toilet flush was very noisy, especially when the bed is just a couple of metres away

The old home clearly has a lot of history and we liked the quirky restoration. We were greeted by a friendly golden retriever and the host did check in with us on our arrival. The room was warm, with heating turned on for us before we arrived.
Our room was incredibly small, the bed took up almost the entire thing. Larger people would not be able to walk around the end of the bed to the other side, it was that narrow. The listing on booking.com is unclear as to whether you are booking a room with an ensuite or not. Several of these were pictured, but we ended up sharing a bathroom with several other rooms, which meant waiting our turn for a shower in the morning. The host mentioned briefly an additional toilet was available, but we couldn't locate it. Bathrobes were provided, but when I put mine on several strands of someone else's hair came out the sleeve while tangled in my hand. Most of this (apart from the hair!) would have been fine if the price reflected the minimal facilities (and this was made clear on booking) but we have stayed in much nicer places for less money.

The apartment was amazing, particularly if you want to experience a classic, historical house. The owner is very attentive to the details with all the decos. The place is quiet and located close to a mountain nearby.
The wifi was not so great, and the kitchen doesn't have gas/stove - so you have to eat out or use microwave for cooking. It'll make it harder to stay for more than 2 days, I guess.

Beautiful rooms, and the sitting room was similarly comfortable and unique.

Gorgeous , eclectic furnishings, and a super comfortable bed, pillows and a great shower. Friendly host, and very convenient location on a large secure property. We were super impressed! a great 2 night stay.

amazing historical house. no light pollution which makes it a great place for watching the night sky. if you're a light sleeper be advised that the house makes some noises in stronger weather. it's got character.
unfortunately no hairdryer. I found multiple recycle bins but no bin for general waste (doesn't mean that there wasn't one, I just didn't see it). since it's historical there is a no shoe policy in the house. which would make it perfect then if there was a shoe horn, but there isn't. communication with the host was entirely via messages. in the three nights I stayed, I didn't see the host once. it's just good to know, in case you prefer face to face communication with your host. even though I didn't see my host communication was good and the host is very friendly

The homestead is old but the room was warm and had lots of gram and was better than I throught I was getting.
The owners were so helpful and help with great commucation.

The little contained unit was perfect for a short stay in the area, very quite and scenic. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, allowing me to checkout a little later. Much appreciated.
Just a few improvements to the place itself, the rubbish system was confusing and didn't accommodate for general rubbish, and the kitchen, though well equipped, didn't give the ability to use the pots supplied as there is no hob. Toilet flush is also very loud. Shower temperature adjustment was so confusing i ended up having a short cold shower.

Sheena, the host, was a gem and so friendly and helpful. The B&B is being sold so future experiences may differ. The property and house are beautiful. It's about a 20 min drive into Queenstown. Grocery stores nearby.
As I mentioned, the B&B was for sale while we were there so it may not exist in the future or it may have different owners.

A very nice and comfy place. We enjoyed the charm of the suite we stayed in, had both a country feel and a feel of days gone by. Lots of interesting and quirky pieces to dive into in the lounge area. bed was really comfy, bathroom was tidy and kitchen area was appropriate for what we needed.

The house is so amazing and so welcoming! We liked the atmosphere very much and had such a nice stay! Sheena was the very best host you could ever imagine! we'll hopefully can come back for another stay. we even added spontaneously a few days because we fell in love with everything. we'll highly recommend to stay here when you're in queenstown (or new zealand). we're so incredibly lucky that we've discovered this real gem!
nothing, everything was absolutely perfect!

Check in was a breeze, staff were excellent, and the room was a gorgeous vintage studio with high ceilings and an incredible bathtub.
