This is one of the BEST vacation rentals in which we have stayed!! Everything was well maintained and well stocked. It was far enough out to give us peace and close enough to everything we wanted to see and do. Everyone we dealt with a your office was friendly and helpful. We had originally made the reservation for Sept 2018 and were unable to get there due to a hurricane. You were kind enough to transfer our reservation to this year. It was well worth the wait. Thank you for your attention to detail.

As 2017 has begun to slip away, we realized we did not make it to Chincoteague this year. We were a bit unsure what a late October visit would bring, but I jumped on the app and booked our favorite house, Grandview! Our dogs love walking through Wildcat to Captain Chandler's grave every morning and evening. We had the pleasure of walking the Nature Trail at night for the elementary school pumpkin festival. Fishing on the beach was everything Jimmy at Captain Steve's said it would be! Caught striper and red drum. Glad we brought our waders, as it was chilly. Smaller crowds and more wildlife than summertime. Grandview was, again, perfect!!!

A huge home with a very open layout and a beautiful view, particularly at sunset. The kitchen is well appointed and the furniture was comfortable. Our family had a lovely vacation experience, and we were glad to stay here.

I was one of four couples that camp together all summer long. We decided to have our first beach vacation together. I found this house that we could all have an individual suite. So we could have our own private space. Also pet friendly a rare find. It had very accommodating open floor plan. A private dock for fishing. And amazing sunsets. Already booked for next year before leaving the island. Great memories made, we will be talking about at camp.

This is our second time at Grandview. It’s such a great place for a family to be together. We love the dock for crabbing and the sunsets are beautiful! The kayaks are a plus also. The service was excellent too we had a totally broken screen door and we called and the door was replaced the same day thanks to Charlie! We hope to return again.

We've been coming to Chincoteague for about 5 years — staying in all kinds or properties: B&Bs, hotels, rental homes. This may be our single favorite spot. The house is on the bay, facing west toward the mainland. The view from the great room / kitchen is unbeatable. This is a quiet part of the island. Nice walking and biking. A bit of the ride to stores / restaurants. This home has a great porch, very well-equipped kitchen, and really easy to access & easy to use kayaks. Well-maintained and immaculate. Small bonus for a rental home: The pillows on the beds are really nice quality.

Grandview was an excellent property with all the amenities needed. Nice to have the bikes and kayaks as well! Everything was cleaned and ready for our arrival on time and we were contacted several times to check and make sure everything was ok. Appreciate the dog friendly nature. Great secluded part of the island for walks and runs. Will be back!

Beautiful home with plenty of room. Views of the Bay were wonderful. Dock was nice to park my pontoon on. I would advise to clean the ceiling fans and the HVAC cold air returns.

The kitchen was very well stocked and the home was beautiful. The owners also included great extras, such as bikes and kayaks. Being pet friendly was also a big plus. Our only issues was that the property needed a good below surface cleaning. As an example, the air conditioning vents and ceiling fans blades were quite dusty. The exposed floors were clean, but the surfaces under the furniture were quite dusty. We also had a problem with raccoons getting into the screen room and eating some of our dry goods on our first night. They also went into the garbage bins, which were not in the enclosed corral when we arrived.

The customer service was excellent our screen door was broke and they came the same day and replaced it thanks to Charlie. We love the restaurants especially The Village, food trucks, Island Creamery and Mr. Whippy. We also went to the water park, biking, miniature golf, go carts, bumping water boats, and the beach. Overall we had a good stay. We vacationed at the property 3 years ago and could see a some wear in the home. Beds are very good and each bedroom is a private suite which is great for privacy. I do think the living room seating and pillows are not in such great condition and could use replacing. Mosquitoes this week were horrendous. Beach was great. If you are not buying the expensive linen/towels package just a heads up. You need sheets that will fit 17” deep queen mattresses (which was a problem for us.). Kitchen is extremely well stocked and the new living room blinds are perfect. Overall pretty good stay.

We have stayed in many places on the Island and have experienced many different types of homes and locations. We have stayed in Grandview two or three times now and it is by far the home we love the most. The home, the management team, the cleaning crew, and the location are unbeatable. The flexibility, communication, and overall great customer service of the management team during the past very challenging year put the entire experience over the top. We are now in the second generation of our family enjoying and appreciating the beauty and warmth of Chincoteague and the wonderful people who live here. This is a fabulous house with a gorgeous view. The house is big and spread out so everyone can have his/her own private area as well as large, airy, and luxurious communal spaces to hang out in together. Everything is clean and comfortable. There are two bedroom/bathroom suites on the first floor, which is perfect for those who cannot walk upstairs. The kitchen is modern, well-equipped, and part of the large common space on the first floor. The huge glass windows looking out on the bay give a stunning view, as do the deck and screened-in porch. It's a perfect place to relax and feel away from it all.

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The dock was perfect, views amazing, and house clean and cozy! The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies (pans, knives etc). I would absolutely recomend.

This property was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults and 3 children. It was especially nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the large dining room table & well equipped kitchen. Having a crock pot was very nice! The location is beautiful and we loved the access to the dock and the crab traps (we caught a bunch!). It's a nice flat bike ride into Chincoteague, and the road in front of the house is private and perfect for walking. The house is dog friendly which is great, but my only complaint is that the carpet shows lots of stains. The property management is so expedient to fix any issues! We had a leaky toilet that was fixed right away, and some raccoons tore out a screen by the back door and they fixed that the same day. I definitely would stay there again!
