Very quiet and perfect to relax in nature. Also very close to touristic places like Viscri or Sighisoara.

Situated in a quiet place, in the rural area. Suitable for families with children. The property has a big garden and a playground. The owners are very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
Nothing to add.

the landlady was really nice, the people in the village were super fun and open, they are kind and welcoming, the garden is nice and everything's quiet, the common room and kitchen are easy to access and even family/friends of the landlady were friendly
you can't expect hot water with high outflow 24/7 but that's what makes it authentic!

The place is a traditional Romanian house from the Transylvania area. All the elements have been pretty well preserved and the place is quiet and chill. The owners were very polite and discreet. There are multiple facilities (bbq place, firepit place, hot tub with coals in the yard, a ping pong table etc) It is also pet friendly which was actually the main reason we chose to stay here with our dog.
The downsides are as following : the road to and from Barcut (doesnt matter if its from Fagaras Up or Sighisoara Down) is absolutely horrid, 4 - 7 miles of potholes, hills and bushes. Unless one owns an old half wrecked pickup truck, i will never set foot on this road again. Also the power goes out often in the area, but they got that covered with a temporary generator when no electricity was available on site. Last but not least there is only 1 place around with food available and that's actually a German children institute that also cooks for tourists. Large portions cheap prices but there is NO other option but to cook for yourself.

Great rooms, great facilities. Very friendly host. The place is very clean. Very nice bathrooms.
Road until the village is horrendous.

Both the host and her son were very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had during our short stay.
The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms look great, vintage/traditional.
The garden is large and there're a hammock, swings and two small football goals. You can basically spend a full day out there.
The village itself is quiet and not very touristy, you can have a long peaceful walk.
You get to the village via a bumpy dirt road for about 5km, so brace yourself.

A very kids friendly place. The owner is really nice and responsive to any requests. The place is nice renovated in the spirit of the village.
We’ve had some issues with the bathroom and had to change the room but the owner was very fast in reaction and dealt with the situation.

We really loved our stay here, the host was very nice and helpful. The room was beautifully designed, very rustic.
There is a nice courtyard, with a terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped. In the garden there are many places to spend time with your friends/family.
We definitely recommend this place!

Quiet place, old german country property full with old items, clean and cheap, great people around. Flowers are everywhere.
It's an amazing place for those who try to escape from city's madness and run away from noise and rumors. Rooms are neat, toilets are big, worm water is plenty, commonplace is big and entire property is full of old items, general layout being cozy. You can hear your mind, so quiet is this area. Owners are very good fellas, able and willing to help you in anything you need, including the small biogarden where you can find green onions or dill..
We came from Fagaras city and on middle trip to Barcut, we have had a wonderful view of mountains on both sides.
You must expect last 2 miles or so, not so good as deserved country road, but we are not scarred if we drive slow for a while.

I recommend with pleasure to stay in this wonderful house full of history. The village is very peaceful, the host is a very nice person, very helpful , even if we arrived very late. The room has plenty of space, very nice furniture, old elements brought to live.
