Beautiful location, very private. We enjoyed our stay!

Great place to get away and relax lakeside! Quiet and peaceful.

Semi-rustic yet modern amenities. Plenty of house wares & bedding. Fire pit with wood provided. A lot of seating in living room. Good sized lake. Nice view.

Had a perfect bachelor party on the lake. Very private, very comfortable, easily slept 6 of us in beds and on couches. There was lots of dry wood for the campfire too and no mosquitoes!

This is our 2nd stay at the cabin! Wonderful, private location with easy access to the lake. Our family and friends had a wonderful time together!!

Wonderful setting for a personal retreat and family time. We really enjoyed the views and the wide open spaces.

My wife and I and our two dogs spent several days at the cabin. It was quiet, beautiful, and the porch was like the Discovery Channel. There is lots of wildlife to enjoy, room to play, and walks to go on. We made lots of delicious meals in the kitchen but I would plan them out ahead and bring groceries. The store is a bit of a trek. If you need to be refreshed and renewed, if your relationship needs reconnecting, this is the spot for it.

We have stayed here before and all went well. This time was no different it was relaxing and enjoyable.

This was our second time renting this property. It gives so much privacy and room for the whole family. We are dog lovers, so this provided the perfect setting for the 6 dogs our family has. So much space and very private setting inside and out. It was a bit windy and cool on our weekend, but we still had so much fun. Fishing, boating and relaxing is just what we needed. We celebrated 2 Birthday's with much fun!! The hosts are very quick to respond and very accomodating to your needs. Couldn't ask for a better place with all the ameneties. We saw a couple of Eagles which was an absolute bonus, plus you can't beat the sunsets!! Thank You once again Shane and Morgan for your hospitality!! We will be back again.

Stayed for an extended weekend with my wife and pup. Weather was a little rough with wind and rain. Didn’t get to fish as much as I was hoping, but caught up on some much needed rest. Very peaceful. Property manager was easy to reach and very responsive. Incredible views of sunsets over the lake. Great place to get away and. recharge.

We enjoyed a short quiet relaxing weekend as a family at the cabin. It was absolutely perfect. Everything we had hoped for.

Although some things were not 100 percent what the listed stated. we did enjoy the fishing. Wish we could of took the boat out but there is a nice area to fish from at the cabin.

I booked this place to throw my friend a bachelor party. He wanted it to just be a good time with our good friends and that’s exactly what we got. We fished, we shot guns, we barbecued, anything men could have needed to have a good time was available to us. Very satisfied.

Love this place. However, I will warn that the lake is very shallow

Our family of 6 (4 teens) and 2 dogs enjoyed our stay at your cabin. Four days was the perfect amount of time to unwind, relax, and explore a couple of nearby towns. Thanks for the use of the yellow water mat, and fishing gear. Sunsets are spectacular here. The cabin is cozy and had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay..

I was unable to stay due to COVID but my sister and her husband did stay at the property. The boat was not available until later in the evening. It had been sitting full of water and being hollow, it was filled with water that my sister and husband had to drain out. While doing so, they discovered it was missing one of the two plugs. Suffice to say there was no boating. Suggest that renters bring their own small boat. The shower curtain was a trip hazard, it was not only much too long for the shower and was in tatters; you had to be very careful in the shower. There was a lot of long white dog hair on one couch and smelled a like dirty dog. That cleared up after the second day. Throw rugs had some large stains. Television needed a hot spot to work; couldn't get it to take the password for Verizon. There is a nice wooden dock for fishing. The dam did provide a walking trail. The view and sunsets were pretty.

This is a great cabin I stayed in for the 2022 Unbound Gravel race in Emporia. The cabin is about 20 minutes outside of town, and it was exactly what my family and I needed for the weekend. I can’t recommend it enough. Secluded and beautiful. Those sunsets!

Despite the reviews on lack of cleanliness it was as clean as a cabin is going to be. Plenty of space for many people & lots of activities.

This is a great old rustic cabin with everything you need. It is right on a beautiful lake with the most stunning sunsets. Great for a short family getaway. The cabin has kitchen ware, towels and linens, cleaning supplies. It is not the most up to date with the newest furniture and accessories but it is a rustic cabin and everything worked great. We are hoping to visit again. Enjoyed it immensely.

We stayed only one night instead of the whole weekend. We were to grossed out by the dead bugs all over the bed, the bedroom, and the kitchen. Seriously, if someone would have just come swept the place before we got there it would have been so much better.

Off the beaten path but as described. Great for traveling with dogs!

Toilet seat needs to be repaired. Microwave cabinet needs to be repaired. Foldout couch bed in porch needs to be updated. Need some kitchen counter space added somehow. Lots of flies in cabin. Views of the sunset was spectacular!

Such a relaxing property. One could never get tired of the view. I will definitely return and let my friends and family know to go enjoy this getaway.

I was so very excited about this getaway. We were able to check in early, which was appreciated. However, I didn't go back too deep into reviews and saw others comment on how dirty the place was. Dead gnats all over, a fly problem. The stove/oven were filthy. Dog hair on furniture. The bed had random foreign hairs in it, and when we stripped the bed as directed, we saw there was blood stains on the pillow. As an older couple ,we do enjoy some news in the evening and although listing says TV, that's all there was with no available stations, nada. The hosts were there when I called, no problem there, but we left a day early because of how gross it was.

Celebrated my husband birthday with family and friends. We wanted fishing, camping, and country. We got it, and then some!! Would definitely recommend this place!
