Elegant 2 bedroom townhouse in the heart of beautiful Berwick upon Tweed
Magnifiquement rénové, central et situé commodément maison de ville dans le coeur de la ville historique de Berwick upon Tweed. We felt incredibly comfortable at this property, it was a genuine home from home. It’s furnished tastefully and equipped superbly. The rooms are large and there’s more than enough storage.
We had a small problem checking in where the previous guests had forgotten to replace the entry key so we had to wait for the owner’s mother to meet us and let us in, which was only about 30 mins though.
Out first night was disturbed by noise from the Brown Bear pub across the road - it is licensed until 1am with a DJ playing loud music so there is quite a lot of street noise on Saturdays (and Fridays). The rest of the week it is quiet. I’m assuming it is a grade 2 listed building so the sash windows couldn’t be changed for something that blocks out more noise, but for only a couple of nights it is acceptable.
The welcome pack was really thoughtful; bread, milk, butter, jam, apples, biscuits and fresh cut flowers (a really personal touch). PROPER towels!! We had an issue with the washing machine which was repaired within 24 hours, whilst the owner was herself on holiday! Fantastic service.
The location is great, although parking is a bit of a pain as the long stay car parks only permit a 24 hour stay with no return within 4 hours, however they are free and as long as you’re happy to move your car between car parks (none of which are far) then it can be managed.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely, yes!

We had a fabulous break in Berwick, the townhouse is ideally situated and is beautifully decorated and clean. We had a lovely welcome pack that was an added bonus and very thoughtful.

Beautiful apartment - a home from home.
Immaculate apartment, very comfortable with very tasteful decor. It is in an extremely convenient location, walking distance to all of Berwick Upon Tweed's attractions as well as a lovely walk to Spittal and the beautiful beach. I would very much recommend this apartment.

Easter break
We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful apartment in Berwick Upon Tweed. Audrey and Sarah could not have been more helpful in ensuring a warm welcome and ensuring our stay was trouble free.
The apartment is in a central location with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars all within a short walk. It was a perfect location for exploring the walled ramparts around the town as well as many local attractions, including Paxton House and boat trips along The Tweed. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated and has everything to make a very comfortable stay.
We would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting to explore this area of Northumbria.

A beautiful apartment in a great location.
A spacious and comfortable historic house which is ideally located in the town. The welcome pack of food was very generous and much appreciated. The apartment has been lovingly renovated and is stylishly presented throughout.

Perfect family holiday home! Spacious, clean, and perfectly located.
We really enjoyed our stay in this appartement. We received a warm welcome, with already some refreshments waiting for us. The house was much bigger then expected, very spacious if you rent it for 4. Everything you need is present, very complete kitchen, washingmachine and dryer, beds made and clean towls available. In the street, you will find a variety of nice restaurants if you would not like to cook. There is nothing I can think of that would need improvement. If you are looking for a place in this area, I would highly recommend this rental.

Amazing apartment
Great central location. High quality furnishings. Toasty warm. Very kind & helpful host. We rented the 2 bedroom option and what is great is that, because the apartment can also be rented as a 4 bedroom, the space you get in the lounge and kitchen was huge compared to what you might get in a normal 2 bed apartment. Can't recommend highly enough. We will definitely use again.
