Luxurious & spacious family seaside escape. Perfect for relaxation and fun.
Richmond Beach House est une ancienne villa victorienne avec de nombreuses caractéristiques originales. Chic Bohème rempli de meubles éclectiques et de charme. Il offre la toile de fond idéale pour les réunions entre amis et en famille, pour les week-ends ou les vacances d'été. Il y a une cour patio-un super piège à soleil et une plus grande terrasse avec une salle à manger. Pour ceux qui ont des petits, un trampoline de jardin intégré. Si le temps tourne, ce qui est rare à Thanet car il semble profiter de son micro-climat très propre. Mettre le feu et se réchauffer avec un bon livre et une tasse de thé.

La maison peut accueillir 11 personnes. Le jardin entoure la moitié de la maison et reçoit le soleil toute la journée. Il y a un patio et un trampoline coulé.

Property doesn't look great as you approach, however once inside it lives up to expectations in so many ways. Great kitchen facilities, 3 fantastic bedrooms and 2 adequate ones. Living rooms were good size as was the garden. Added bonus of a pool table in a decent sized games room. Although garden was decent size and there were sufficient seats the general condition of things such as tennis table, BBQ and seating could do with updating . However, all in all thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it is approx a 20-30 min walk to the harbour area itslef.

We were incredibly lucky to have such beautiful weather for our stay in Ramsgate. We were able to enjoy the lovely garden, table tennis and multiple outdoor seating areas.
Vivien’s place is amazing - beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed for a girls weekend away.
Any questions were answered promptly by Vivien and we were very happy there. Easy walk into town and in a nice part of Ramsgate.
Would definitely come back!

Stayed at this gorgeous property as a group of 'Seniors' (we called ourselves 'Crusties!") and we could not have wanted more of anything.
The spacious house had everything we could possibly need or want - beautifully furnished and decorated with all equipment there to cater for all eventualities.
The bedrooms were charming and comfortable and with four toilets, three bathrooms, we were happy campers!
The location of the property is so convenient for the town - we were happy to park our cars for the duration of our stay and walk.
We were grateful for the information provided by the Host - comprehensive and useful as well as interesting. We definitely would not have been brave enough to use the oven without her great instructions!
The house is just stunning and every room oozes comfort and curiosity. Also, the garden is a delight - we enjoyed lazy morning coffees and late night debates sitting together!

The house was absolutely perfect. Loads of space to spend time together in the kitchen and the garden. We ended up staying in the house on the last afternoon and played pool, chatted in the garden and cooked a massive roast. Highly recommend.

The house was amazing; beautifully furnished, really homely and comfortable. Great, well equipped kitchen and dining area, fab games room and living rooms, lovely bedrooms with comfy beds. The garden is also really beautiful and we loved sunbathing and playing table tennis outside. Overall a fantastic house in a great location and we would definitely come back. We (a group of 7 adults, a toddler and a baby) had an amazing time staying at the property. It’s extremely spacious with its two sitting rooms and the pool room (excellent table), as well as the fully kitted kitchen, and that is just the downstairs. Plenty of room for all of us to not feel we were on top of each other, especially with two smaller humans who had their own needs at very different times.
Plenty of entertainment options were already there: board games, Xbox, tv, table tennis… The spacious fridge freezer made having a tipple in the evening even easier curtesy of its ice cube facility!
Waitrose is just a 5 minute walk away and a corner shop that’s even closer is open until 11pm in case you’re missing something.
Also within 5 mins walk is the bus stop that takes you to Broadstairs or Margate, in case you want a different beach for the day.
Any questions we had were very quickly addressed by the host. In a nutshell, we’d very happily stay there again!

A faultless experience staying in a large house full of charm and character. Great communication from Vivien the host, easy check in process, perfectly described house with more than enough space for our family of 11. Amazing to have indoor activists like the pool table to keep everyone entertained indoors and table tennis for outdoors! Good location, very walkable to the town and beach, nice quiet neighbourhood. The house had everything we needed for our weekend away - can’t recommend enough

Perfect house for our weekend away - we were a group of 9 friends and it was a great size, layout and location for our get together. We especially enjoyed the walk along the coast to Broadstairs and back again and how close the house was to the harbour and town centre. the house was just perfect for our group, we loved all the interesting furniture and artworks. Thanks again for hosting us :-)

The house was perfect, the owner was so accommodating and happy to help with lots of recommendations and was so happy she was able to accommodate a late check out too! Beds were super comfy and so much room for us all to mill about with the kids occupied playing pool. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again. A few minutes walk down to the harbour / sea front. Waitrose down the road what more could you ask for!

We visited Ramsgate to see family and old friends. I lived in Ramsgate over 20 years ago and know the town well. If you’re looking for a place with lots of room, close to everything you need but still quiet and relaxing - this place is it. Location is perfect.
We had a ton of fun exploring the beaches and many an old stomping ground, but almost as much fun hanging out at the house. We had friends and family dropping by but the house was never crowded no matter how many kids we had zipping around or how many cooks we had in the kitchen.
This place was just brilliant and perfect for us.

The location of the property is brilliant and everything in Ramsgate was within walking distance. The house has everything you need. We had a great time from start to finish. Excellent communications and check in process. The house is a fantastic base for a large family group with masses of space and good facilities including pool and ping pong tables. Supply of beach towels is a nice touch. I would definitely reccomend.

I am very fussy when I choose our holiday home for our annual family holiday and this one was one of our best. Plenty of space for everyone, garden very usable and sunny. Well equipped with everything we needed. Waitrose very close, easy to walk to town and beach. Small downsides just for info of others: Bedroom 5 is small. Parking in school holidays can be difficult to get a space near the house but we always managed in the end. Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants in the town, need to be a bit choosy where you go. Overall a very good place to stay and the sun shone on us throughout!

Great house, would highly recommend.
We were a group of 8 friends on a golf trip. This house is one of the best we have stayed in for our trip. The owner, Vivien was super helpful pre trip and the instructions etc could not have been clearer. The house is fantastic inside and out and has easy access to Ramsgate and the surrounding area.

This is a super house for the family with plenty to do for teens. The house is exactly as the description with a lovely large kitchen/ dining room to gather. Walking distance shops and beach with a short drive to Broadstairs and Margate. Would recommend.

Fantastic house
We were a party of 6 adults and 5 children (aged 0 - 12) staying for 4 nights over New Year. had a fantastic stay and the house exceeded expectations - very spacious for such a large group and we never felt on top of each other. House had all the facilities we needed and was in walking distance to local amenities and attractions.
Vivien was really helpful with information in advance and very quick to respond.
Overall a brilliant stay and can't find any fault!

Cosy fire and board games one night in the drawing room, living room movie night, and Christmas Day in the kitchen.Although we didn’t use the outside area much because of the time of year, the house has a lovely space for outside entertaining.Perfectly located from shops, restaurants, and a short 10 minute walk to the beach.Ramsgate is a perfect town to enjoy nice food, drink and invigorating walks along the beach. Lovely home for a large group or family
Vivien's property was perfect for our group of 10 adults which ranged in age from 12 to 86. Ample space for people to gather in many of the spacious rooms and seating 10 for a home cooked dinner was easy. The property is located within easy walking distance to the grocery store and don't miss freshly baked pastries at The Modern Boulangerie (only three blocks away). The check-in and out process was a breeze and Vivien was extremely responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend this lovely property!

60th birthday celebrations with family
Lots of space so we weren’t on top of each other. Kitchen area was perfect for catering and group eating and spilling out into the garden. Interesting, quirky house, love it .

Family staycation
We hired the Richmond Beach House for a week to celebrate my Mum’s 60th birthday. The house is huge with lots of living space and full of quirky decor, the perfect location for a family get-together. It has all the home comforts you need including pots, pans, towels, bedding etc. The garden is lovely and private, great for evening drinks or a bbq. We had a fantastic game of hide and seek which lasted hours despite there being 9 adults playing which just demonstrates how large the house is! The only small drawbacks I can think of were that the online photos/description didn’t make it obvious that one of the double rooms was very small in comparison to the others which made the room selection quite contentious! The other small niggle was that we found a used ash tray in the living room and there was a faint smell of smoke so a previous guest must have smoked indoors which put us off using that room. Other than that, we had a fabulous stay and would 100% recommend for family and/or friend get-togethers, a brilliant base to explore Ramsgate, Margate, Broadstairs and beyond. There are loads of pubs, bars, restaurants, shops and amusements to keep the whole family happy! Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house Vivien

wonderful house
This is a gorgeous, spacious light filled house with an interesting and eclectic decor and a fantastically well equipped kitchen. We especially appreciated the outdoor space with lovely corners to sit out and relax, with a great space to eat outside together in the evenings. Everything worked well, the bed were very comfy, showers were great and we appreciated the generous provision of things like extra loo roll and dishwasher tablets, plus the welcome bottle of fizz. It was a very practical comfortable and welcoming place for our family gathering.

This place is perfect for a break away from normal life. My family and I were really disappointed to have to cancel a holiday abroad for a big birthday this year but a long weekend here more than made up for it.
The house is huge with loads of general living space so it doesn’t matter if you have some questionable weather. If the weather is good there is more than enough to explore in the local area.
The house was clean and well stocked with everything that you need.
Only one suggestion to improve things slightly would be a bigger outside table, we really enjoyed having dinners outside but the table isn’t quite big enough for the amount the property sleeps. This is being really picky overall the place is 5 stars

Weekend Getaway for Group
I was looking for a weekend getaway that was a short distance from London with lots of space. This house is perfect. From its quirky and well decorated interior, to its large backyard (with a grill!!), to the amazing host, this is the place. It was exactly what was needed after being locked down for months - fresh air and space. Highly recommend!!

Large quirky comfortable house, ten minutes walk to harbour.
We stayed for a family birthday. The house was huge, with plenty of space and well equipped and lots of quirky art. We stayed in October, but for a Victorian house, it was plenty warm and cosy enough. Location was good for a pleasant walk down to the harbour, where there are loads of places to eat and drink. Although we only had two cars and it was October, I can imagine it being quite difficult to find parking spaces for bigger parties and in peak periods, there's one off road space, and the roads were all pretty full.
