I would highly recommend this apartment if you are staying in the Edinburgh area. Shammi was easy to reach when I had some questions and he was in constant commucation before and after our stay. loved the location

We had a great stay in Leith. The flat was clean, well stocked and just as advertised. Easy location to catch the tram to the Edinburgh city centre. Check in and out was easy. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Easy tram ride into the city center. Was kind of nice to get away from the crowds of The Fringe Festival at night. Was a great sandwhich shop and pizza down the street.

The apartment was beautifully furnished. The parking garage was wonderful for safety and security. The process for checking in was slightly time consuming. The cafe where the keys were kept added time as did someone going up to get the key fob to enter the building. The way the apartment building was set up there really was no other way to gain access and we did manage to work it out. We did have difficulty getting to cook in the stove. The dial indicators were faded off and we couldn’t tell what the temperature was and had to guess to cook our food. Again, minor inconvenience and the apartment was lovely overall and would book again.

We loved the flat. It was very comfortable for 2 couples and an 8 year old. It's a short walk from the tram that heads uptown & to the airport. A cool surprise was that the Royal Yacht Britannia was only a short walk away at Ocean Terminal so we toured the yacht - a great attraction!

We agree with all the positive comments that have already been left about Shammi and the LuxFlat - so we’ll say a few different things! We were really impressed that Shammi took the time to check-in with us, to make sure we’d settled in OK, and he was really helpful - and honest! - in answering our queries. We enjoyed having Alexa, as we haven’t got her at home and 3 full-length mirrors were great. We also appreciated having multi-coloured quality crockery and pots, e.g. Denby, Le Creuset, instead of predictable white IKEA! Although the different size cups and mugs were probably originally provided for different coffee styles (and, we didn’t use them, but it was great having coffee and tea choices too), it is very rare to be provided with different sizes of drinking vessels to suit all tastes - and bladder capacities! All the art was very much admired, particularly The Kiss in the main bedroom - nice touch! We have never experienced so much thoughtfulness being put into accommodation that has been listed on VRBO before and we recommend the LuxFlat in Leith without hesitation!
Oh and as well as the tour bus and public buses into Edinburgh, the tram stop at Ocean Terminal opened just before we arrived - so now you can get a tram in and out too!

Lovely apartment close to many restaurants,including two Michelin stars. Public transport is excellent a short distance away. Apartment is well equipped and comfortable, Shammi was easy to contact and responded to emails and texts quickly. If we return to Edinburgh we would stay again

This was a great, modern flat. The location was excellent being close to two areas for eating out and on the bus route into Edinburgh. The flat is large and comfortable in every way. Would be very happy to recommend to friends and family.

This flat is in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the Ocean Terminal with the Royal Yacht Britannia and plenty of places to eat. It's also well placed in the centre for The Shore and Newhaven Harbour. It’s beautifully decorated and very welcoming, Shammi the host was very informative & responsive. It’s also located round corner from a bus stop with buses heading into princess street as well as shuttle buses to the airport. I'd really recommend this accommodation, especially for a family or friends, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were to return to Edinburgh in the future.

Spacious, comfortable, clean & homely flat. Walking distance to many good restuarants & cafes. Safe parking available if required and easy access to the city on the great local bus network. Would recommend the haven cafe for breakfasts, the incredible chip shop at Newhaven & the kitchin restaurant for a special treat. We had a wonderful time in leith & would book again, Thanks Shammi.

This flat is in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the Ocean Terminal with the Royal Yacht Britannia and plenty of places to eat. It's also well placed for The Shore and the lovely fish and chip restaurant recommended by the host. Catching a bus to the city centre is convenient and easy. The flat itself is beautifully kept and very welcoming. I'd really recommend this accommodation, especially for a family, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were to return to Edinburgh in the future

From the outset, our experience of this apartment was a positive one. The check-in process was easy and there was plenty parking on site. The apartment was large and had been left clean and tidy. It had great amenities with a Smart TV and speakers in every room. The cupboards were also stocked with tea, coffee, etc which saved on a supermarket visit!
We travelled as a family of three so the open space and large rooms we great, as were the 2 bathrooms. The area of Leith was great to wander around and access to the city was easy with plenty buses available. Ocean Terminal was only a few minutes walk away, which was ideal for picking up a few provisions.
Shammi, the host kept in touch, without being intrusive. We have visited Edinburgh many times before but from now on will look to return to this apartment.

This is the most impressive and luxurious airbnb I have ever stayed in. It is located a about 2 miles from Edinburgh city centre, but it is not a big deal as you can always catch an uber or taxi (cheaper than bus if you are travelling with three more people!). The place is very modern with an artistic touch, I really appreciate that he has obviously spent a lot of time on decorating the house. It has a very big balcony with a picnic bench for seating and parasol. Also, all amenities are easy to use and made our stay very convenient, including washer, dryer, smart tv, alexa, toaster and more! I love that he is so thoughtful to put both iPhone and android chargers in every room. Shammi's place is very clean and spacious , great for family and friends! I would highly recommend his place!
