The property was beautiful and as advertised! Decor and views are exceptional. Natalie and her team were helpful and responsive. The sand bottom made swimming off the dock incredible. The overall experience was fantastic! Will recommend this property and hope to book again in the future.

We spent a long weekend here while we were visiting family. We had a great experience. The home was clean and decorated nicely. The view of the lake was exceptional and the hot tub was a nice touch after a day of skiing. We would stay again!

Wonderful 3 nights with 7 besties! Comfortable beds and living area. All dishes, appliances, and implements that we needed. Really enjoyed the hot tub!

We had an incredible weekend with family and friends at this gorgeous and well-appointed property. The lay out of the house was great as we all had our own space but the common areas were large enough for us to gather and spend a memorable weekend together. This was our second stay at this cottage. Since the previous summer, there have been a number of upgrades that enhanced our stay, although the first stay was great as well. Our family would happily rent this cottage every summer. Natalie provides everything a group could need, and she communicates quickly and effectively. Highly recommended!

Great Get-away!
We were 5 seniors looking for a lakeside retreat. We were not disappointed - the house had everything we could possibly need, and then some. Indoors was so spacious. Outside was just perfect! Beautiful view, wonderful, relaxing hot tub, and, not-to-be-forgotten, the fire pit! We enjoyed it all.

Great location!
Our family get together was a great success at this lovely property. We did encounter a significant issue on our first day, but Natalie and team dealt with it quickly and ensured we were compensated appropriately. It was smooth sailing from then on and we were able to really enjoy our stay.

Beautiful and relaxing mini vacation!!
The house was clean but few minor issues. We had booked the place for 6 adults and 4 kids once we got there there was a bunk bed in downstairs bedroom, king size upstairs and 2 twin size beds upstairs, and a single bed. Two adults ended up sleeping on the floor (next time I would bring air mattress) the washroom downstairs was not cleaned properly.
Other than that honestly no issues.
One last thing the check out was at 12:00 we rushed to clear the house around 9:30 -10 so we could enjoy the last hour. To our surprise the pool guy shows up making it so awkward for us to be there. I have stayed at different cottages and I have never experienced this. So if you are booking be prepare to have some guy walk in on you to clean the jaccouze 1 hour before your check out time. Other than that if they would have us we would love to come back 👍

Otherwise, every place has deficiencies!
There we two important things that we felt could be improved. First was the dock. The only access to entering the water is from the dock which seems unsafe. Secondly, most of the windows don’t have screens so they could not be opened.

Great spot to get away from the city
Very nice house/cottage, right on the water and close to Toronto. Communication with Natalie before (and once during) our stay was very easy - she responded promptly to all emails. The only thing that was a bit off-putting was that she mentioned at least 4 times that she was down one housekeeper and we were made to feel like we had to pick up the cleaning slack as a result. In fairness, she doesn't know us, so I understood, but I didn't need to be told more than once.
Otherwise, there are a few minor things that couldn't get me to 5 stars - very small fridge and difficult to use freezer; staircase and dock are poorly built; ceiling fan in master bedroom is noisy. The cottage sleeps 4 adults, 2 children and a very young child comfortably (we had 4 adults and two children under 7), but 10 adults would be very tight.
Positives - the view is fantastic; the property is large; the hot tub is great; the barbecue worked well; there are plenty of plates, bowls and cutlery; the two spacious tv areas were a nice bonus, with lots of options like Netflix, etc. if it rains. The cottage very child-friendly and the water is very shallow - also great for kids.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cottage feel without having to travel too far from Toronto and we look forward to returning next summer.

An Wonderful Family Rental
I have rented this cottage four times now for a stay with family and friends. It is spacious and well appointed and nothing beats the views and the sandy bottom beach for the children. Thanks as always, Natalie.

Family getaway
We had a great time at Water’s Edge. The house is as it appears in the pictures. The lake is beautiful and the kids loved the hot tub. There is lots of room to lounge inside on a rainy day, which made for a relaxing vacation for all. Thanks!

Great family memories
We thoroughly enjoyed our days at the cottage. View and hot tub were incredible. Spent the days kayaking and trying our new paddle boards. Lots of room inside for games and movies. Great family getaway!

Horrible, terrible service
We were met with hostility upon checking out. The host was forcing herself into the home earlier than the agreed checkout time and began using racial slurs. She didn’t give us a chance to finish cleaning. She claims we left the house dirty yet she wants to charge us a fee for leaving garbage bags that are tied up and full. That doesn’t make any sense. This is unacceptable. My mother, teenage sister and paraplegic brother don’t deserve to be called racist slurs/stereotypes.

The cottage is very roomy and the kitchen appears new. The building exterior is a little tired and needs work (notably the second stored picture window), but the outdoor area is great for lounging and dining. Nice sand bottom all around the dock. We recommend installing a non-slip mat in the master bath, as well as building a walking path from the driveway to the back of the house. Overall a nice place.

Amazing gals getaway!
Dealing with Natalie was a pleasure - she always answered our questions quickly and provided all the info we needed. The property is beautiful and exactly as shown. Very spacious, comfortable, beautiful decor and a great location. The lake views and hot tub were an added bonus. Would love to return during the summer months. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay
We had a great vacation and Natalie was an amazing host. She was quick to respond and very helpful. We were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday and he said it was the best birthday he has had!

The cottage is in a beautiful location and the bay is gorgeous. The beach is sandy and shallow plus the water was warm. Unfortunately you could not walk into the water and this would have been nice for the toddler we had visiting. There is a walk-in beach area that we had access to, down the road and made use of it, but it would have been nicer to be able to use the water front at the cottage. We blew a fuse in the kitchen and were unable to re-set it, as the fuse box was screwed shut and we could not open it. The inside decorating was beautiful and there were lots of places to gather, relax and visit. We thought that it had 4 bedrooms and we needed that for all our guests. We made due but it was not ideal for us. Caution to make sure you keep all food contained as there are mice in the kitchen. Really enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit and the hot tub. We were told that we could not leave our garbage, due to COVID restrictions, so had to take it with us. This was very inconvenient also, not sure why putting out garbage is a problem. They would have charged us $300 if we had left it. We enjoyed our stay and the family gathering. It is a beautiful place to spend a week during the hot summer.

The cottage was beautiful inside. Back yard has stunning view and it’s the perfect location on the water. The kids loved the hot tub. The lake was so nice we were in it every day!

Holiday Happiness!
Our family of nine, 6 adults and 3 children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The cottage has a true cottage feel, very comfortable and laid back. I was somewhat worried by the online pictures that it was too fancy but it turned out to be just to our liking... a true cottage. The hot tub was a lovely feature on Thanksgiving weekend for all to enjoy. The spaciousness of the cottage added to our pleasure and the layout was grand. The cottage was well-stocked with a multitude of kitchen appliances, toiletries and cleaning supplies, which made our packing easier. The views from the picture windows are gorgeous. The hot tub was fun for all. We would highly recommend this rental to any family looking for an enjoyable get-together holiday.

Phenomenal place
I was married in Innisfil and spent my wedding weekend with my family at this house. The place is spectacular. The outside area is beyond belief beautiful. AmaZing and thoughtful hosts made you feel like you were right at home. The memories made at this house will last a lifetime!

The cottage is well furnished, the lake is beautiful and the dock is great. The water is a bit off so bringing a brita helped a lot. Overall very comfortable !
