Bright and Cheerful North Hollywood House - In Quiet Neighborhood!
Détendez-vous dans ce bungalow de 1941 avec un étang de Koi et un jardin luxuriant. Évadez-vous de l'agitation dans cette retraite d'artiste, proche de tout Hollywood, mais sans le drame. À 10 minutes en voiture des studios Universal, Disney Studios et Warner Brothers Studio et à 20 minutes de Magic Mountain. Fermer l'accès autoroutier à Hollywood et au centre-ville de LA. Les lignes de bus juste autour du coin et la ligne de bus de métro et de métro à quelques minutes. Endroits à la mode pour faire du shopping et manger quelques minutes en voiture de Ventura Blvd ou hipster Lankershim Blvd. Olympus Greek Tavern est juste derrière la maison. This VRBO was great. This was our second time to stay in this VRBO. Communication with the property manager was expedient and the response has always been great. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Great little place to stay. The backyard is an oasis! So pretty. We really appreciated the artwork and all the little touches.

I have to start by saying that Layna and David seem like very delightful people. They were easy to work with and generous. The house was very comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen. The backyard was larger than we'd expected and was perfect for nice weather. It is well fenced and we were happy the dogs had an interesting space to explore between naps. In addition to the Koi pond, the back yard has a large BBQ and table, and we enjoyed a warm summer night dinner with our nephew and his partner. This was our first VRBO stay and a great fit for us.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything is clean and comfortable. There are so many little touches to make the stay great. We loved the koi pond and spent most of our time in the backyard, enjoying the beautiful foliage and breeze. Thank you for having us!

We came down for a 50th birthday party for a friend, and saw this listing on VRBO. The photos made this place look like a magical home and we jumped on it. We were not disappointed. House is cozy and the backyard is amazing. Love the home decor and we totally saw some Morocco photos that we recognized from a trip we took there ourselves. Hated to leave, and will definitely look to utilize this home if we come back to the area. The owners were very good about communicating, and check in and check out were easy and painless. Awesome experience. :)

The home was very cozy and comfortable! It was supplied with everything you could need to prepare your meals and enjoy the lovely kitchen . The yard was nice to hang out in and enjoy meals outdoors . We had a great stay

We had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful! The grounds are gorgeous! Kitchen well stocked. The bedrooms are cozy with comfortable beds! The host is lovely and would answer all questions quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a neat old house. The owner really likes to communicate with the people who are staying at the property. They have a beautiful front and backyard, including a koi pond. Someone has spent a lot of time on their flowers and plants. I was surprised that there weren’t any instructions for the stove (gas stove that needs to be lit by hand) in the binder- there is a binder of guidelines for the property. And it takes a long time for the hot water to run in the shower/ bathtub.
The owners are very kind and helpful.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a few days over spring break. The house is just as described and a lovely home. The kitchen is really well appointed and had all the necessary kitchen tools. The backyard is so gorgeous with all the plants and koi pond. There is also a Trader Joe’s and a few restaurants within a very short walk.

Layna & David were the best hosts we’ve encountered on any rental platform in the past decade. Their home is so wonderful to come back to after a day in LA. From any seat indoors or outside in back is a visual treat full of surprises and delights. And then there’s the koi pond and it’s seating area. My girlfriend says she’s getting one in our next house after melting away stress watching the fish. This place is loaded with charm. We found ourselves half hoping that the owners would need to come by so that we could meet the wonderful people that created this beautiful spot and that are willing to share. The kitchen was lots ot fun to cook in too !! Quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors and great communication from our hosts topped off our favorite rental yet !

With this being my first stay in the LA area of any considerable duration, and coming from the east coast, this property / house / home was outstanding in every regard. A peaceful and welcoming home in a great location, quiet neighborhood, well-equipped, and convenient for the purpose of my trip. The backyard garden / patio is an oasis. We just returned home from a relaxing 6-day stay in this lovely house, and are already talking about when we can make plans to come back. The house is even prettier than depicted in the listing, filled with beautiful artwork and photographs, thoughtfully decorated with comfortable antique furniture, and outfitted with a well-equipped kitchen that was a delight to cook in. My very favorite feature, though, was the back garden. Even though it was early March (and cold and wet by Los Angeles standards!), we spent as much time as we could in the backyard, enjoying the beautiful plants and garden decoration, relaxing to the sounds of the fountain and listening to the birds. 10/10 would visit again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay. It was just a few minutes from our daughter and family in Valley Glen. So convenient to Trader Joe’s and movie theatre and restaurants in the area. Lovely garden. Lots of amenities in the home.

Beautiful NoHo Oasis
Beautiful home with a lush garden backyard oasis. The weather was hot but the yard was cool and inviting. The home was clean, comfortable and a perfect spot for us.

So Lovely and Comfortable
I hit the jackpot with this selection. The charm that I spotted in the listing proved to be double-fold. Every room is beautifully decorated and easy to settle in. We started and ended our day in the backyard that is much larger than expected. There is room for dining, lounging and the dog to play with beautiful flowers and trees budding everywhere. The kitchen is so spacious and well-equipped with the most amazing oven. The neighborhood is quiet and nice for a stroll; yet close enough to the highway for our daily trips downtown or to the beach -- perfect location. Communication was very easy -- I appreciated Layna's attention to our stay. I will file this listing in my "book again" file!

Great Home
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was impeccably clean when we arrived. Everything you need you can find in this house. It was very clean and organized. The outdoor patio was our favorite and the pictures don’t do it justice. It is beautiful and well kept. They have put a lot of effort into the garden area and we really enjoyed sitting on the daybed by the pond. You forget you’re in a big city while sitting out there. The lemon tree was a plus as well. We even made some fresh lemonade! The hosts were easy to work with and really gracious! We would definitely stay here again! We loved it!

A return to So-Cal!
Though a heatwave hit a couple days in we still enjoyed our morning coffee by the Koi Pond each day and were joined by a Dove three mornings. With Trader Joe’s close we were able to start each days adventure well supplied. The house was a comfy creative den and the hosts friendly and accommodating. All freeways were minutes away which we took advantage of traveling to Venice, Santa Monica, downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena, Studio City, Hollywood and down to Newport Beach in Orange County… A successGil trip was had!

Beautiful, Relaxing Backyard... Great Location... Awesome Hosts
Property worked out well. Was attending wedding in Glendale / Burbank areas. Peaceful backyard with incredible lemon tree and pond. A peaceful garden near the hustle of North Hollywood. New mall down the street with shops and grocery. Parking a bit questionable but hosts explain it to you. Enjoyed this property and would recommend to anyone visiting greater LA.

A week in NOHO
We all felt right at home in this beautiful home. This rental is wonderfully decorated. There was a spacious dining room where we had a family meal. Another night we socialized in the very comfortable living room and had a memorable evening of conversation. The landscaping in the backyard is amazing. It was the perfect place to meditate and gather after a day out. Layna was a terrific host and communicated very well with us. There's a brand new mall (NOHO West) a block away, within walking distance, with restaurants and coffee shops. Overall an outstanding experience.
