we had the corner suite and it was perfect. It had 2 terraces (one with the hot tub and 1 on the side) and great blackout blinds. The room was gorgeous like the photos and the perfect marriage between old town charm and modern design. pretty sizable as well. Staff were all incredibly polite and helpful. The Manager, Shiek gave us his WhatsApp number and asked that we order meals or ask any questions on there and he was so responsive that we didn’t need to use the hotel phone. We had plans to go to a couple restaurants in old town but the food from Casona’s restaurant was so good that we never got around to eating elsewhere. I saw reviews that complained about having trouble understanding the tech in the room but that’s been fixed now because they send a staff member up with you after check in to show you how to work the light and blind controls and other room tech. The spa was gorgeous and the massages were top notch. All in all, I’d highly recommend Casona! It was the perfect stay in the heart of old town.

The Sauna in the spa wasn’t operational and we weren’t able to use the bathtubs in there either.

Visited from the U.S for 2 nights and it was a beautiful experience that went beyond my expectations! The staff were very welcome and kind; I needed my laundry washed within an hour and a half before I left, and the staff made sure to accommodate to my needs willingly. breakfast was amazing with a good amount of options and wonderful coffee. They also had a great amenities available. I would definitely recommend for someone who is visiting Cartagena. I’m looking for a quieter stay.

The service staff, design, and amenities were superb.

Located in corner of a night life hub. I needed to wear AirPods with white noise the one night I was there due to street noise at night in order to sleep. I don’t know if every night is like this. My friends on the other side didn’t mention trouble sleeping and my husband managed to just with white noise.

The staff was phenomenal- very attentive. The pool area was beautiful, albeit a bit small.

While the rooms were spacious and very clean, we found the rooms to be a bit cluttered with unnecessary furniture, and the lights very confusing to control. All small things, otherwise was fantastic.

I had booked my reservation months prior to my check-in date. I chose Casona del Colégio due to the good reviews and the nice photos of the property. I arrived very early at the day of my check-in and I was informed they had great news for me. The front desk lady stated I had an amazing bedroom in another hotel. I stated that I wanted to stay in the hotel I booked, in the bedroom I booked months ago. She called the manager of the property to discuss this issue. The manager stated that my bedroom was occupied and I had to stay in another hotel. I declined. Long story short, I ended up staying in the hotel, in a different bedroom category for one night only. However that bedroom was booked for someone. This means the hotel was overbooked. The following day I was able to finally sleep in the bedroom category I booked. That same evening, I lost my dinner reservation because I did not have power in my bedroom to have a shower and get dressed. The following day I also had a problem with the door knob that would not lock my bedroom. On my last night, one of the bedroom’s blinder was not coming down but I was so tired of complaining about things that I slept with the blinder up. Keep in my mind that the hotel needs a better maintainable schedule and it is very noise due to the proximity of the night clubs.

Extremely clean and modern. Included breakfast is one of the best ones I've had in a hotel and very complete (smoothie, coffee, bread basket, fruit plate and a la carte option of eggs). Amiable staff and helpful Ample rooms and comfortable beds

The street is extremely busy and a bit noisy (even though windows are sound proof). When you step out into the street their is barely space to stand, a bit overwhelming.

The rooms and the shared spaces in the hotel are beautiful, modern, and tranquil. Loved the sound of the fountain in the courtyard. Rooftop pool was was very relaxing.

This is not the hotel’s fault, but it’s on a very busy corner with a few clubs nearby and a lot of traffic, so the late night noise was pretty intense. As a light sleeper, I needed a lot of melatonin to get rest through the street noise.

Everything about this place is Fabulous, the location, and the staff are helpful, respectful and very polite. The room size is great, spacious, and comfortable and the decoration was just right. Elegant and simple I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends all over the world. I am also looking forward to go back.
