The location was excellent right across the road from train station- I caught train. It’s only a block from shopping mall which includes a Woolworths. Comfortable beds, great shower.

The staff werent friendly.

The staff was AS ALWAYS welcoming and helpful the room was spacious and clean everything is within walking distance I am that impressed I have pre booked my stay for 2025

I wanted to report an Unsafe Manager at Carlton Suites - he was swearing using the C-bomb and f-bomb. My colleague was afraid to stay in the office with him - we were just trying to get the invoice. If that Manager was on site we would not stay nor recommend to stay.

After requesting a downstairs room., because of mobility issues, we were given an upstairs room requiring climbing stairs. Staff didn't care that this wasn't what we requested. Climbing the stairs resulted in a serious arm injury when my partner fell on the stairs. We had to interrupt our trip to seek medical treatment. The cut took 5 days to stop bleeding.

Very impressed with everything. Great value for money. The parking is great and safe. The beds very comfortable. The recent renovation has really lifted the place.

Was a little worried when I called to arrange a late arrival, as the person I spoke to was very laid back. But when I arrived, he was very helpful and efficient. The room was of a good size and very clean. The beds were comfortable. No noise from outside. Very close to the railway station and shops.

The hallway outside the room echoed, the sound of other people going to their rooms was quite loud. Couldn't connect to the WiFi.

That was one of the most disgusting experiences I've had at a hotel. I stayed in room 5. • the bathroom was disgusting, the mould was so prominent you could smell it all throughout the room. There were pubes in the shower and a poo stain in the loo that was there upon arrival. The grout in the shower was also disgusting. Bathroom window had to stay open because of the mould, but there was no flywire, so bugs and flys could come in freely. • the kitchenette had little to nothing to it. 1 spoon, 2 plates, no mugs and 2 towels for 3 three people. No toaster either and watered down dishwashing liquid. The walls are grimy, the doona had stains on it. No binliner and the bin itself was filthy. We left the hotel room with the fan running and the door shut so the mould smell wasn't so prominent. Didn't even want to touch the tiles with bare feet. It's as if the room had not been serviced before we got there. The whole experience had me feeling disgusting and uncomfortable. They offered me a free night stay at another time as penance, but I will never subject myself to that hotel again. A refund would have been more appreciated.

Bizarre set up. Strange office entry and parking. Calls itself hotel motel, but it isn't a hotel. Hasn't been for 10 years !! Big beer signage on the roof and internet pin is .. carltonhotel. Hullo. Couldn't connect to the internet either. Office couldn't care less. El cheapo toilet paper. Rooms are off a corridor and you get noise from other patrons. Many other motels in town to choose from.

Could do with a shelf in the bathroom.
