Unique location with great view over the water and added interest seeing the boats passing by. Plenty of space. Good room and area guide on the tablet in the room. Tram stop only a short walk away. We really enjoyed staying here.

The house is great - just one problem that took us some time to solve... Keeping the room at a comfortable temperature was a bit difficult -, it was often too hot - even in November with freezing temperatures outside. The thermostat control in the room seems to do nothing - even if the temperature is set to a target of 16 degrees centigrade (and showing 26 degrees as the current room temperature) the heating would be switched on and radiators hot. The thermostat / heating control is not as described in the room guide on the tablet in the room. The room guide said the heating could be switched off but this didn't seem to be possible. Eventually we turned down each of the approx. 10 radiators and opened the small windows. But this seems to be wasteful of energy so is not ideal.

Location was great and the views are excellent of the water and the incoming boats. Very relaxing and peaceful stay. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. The tram to the city centre is a short walk (~10mins).

Could have more supplies for cleaning floors like a broom/vacuum and sponge/clothes for the dishes and the kitchen.

The view & location! Very accessible to supermarket & Amsterdam Central by Tram 26. Bars, Restaurants & Beach/surfing within walking distance.

Automatic lights stayed on too long. Kitchen lighting inadequate. Outside area could do with some TLC.

This house is really unique, and spacious. It's located in a calm city district which is close to the city center ( 15-20 minutes by tram). The river and bridge views give an amazing vibe.

The cleaning could have been better. Also, napkins were missing at all, bathroom accessories are very poor. The floor was sticky in some places.

This is a must stay property! it completely exceeded our expectations. The view from the place was beautiful and super quiet. The bed felt luxurious and we had the best nights sleep, It’s in a great location with a supermarket just a 2 minute walk away and a tram that takes you straight to the center just a 5 minute walk if that! It was super clean and cosy, and again just blew us away and we are already looking at returning 😊

Nothing it was perfect.

We enjoyed our 16-night stay in this unique bridge house. The views through the windows are impeccable and the space is really huge. There’s a supermarket in walking distance, we almost bought groceries and cooked everyday in the fully equipped kitchen. The online service was really helpful and nice, Sluis Haveneiland is indeed one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

This place is suitable for staying for a long time. If washing machine was available in this place, it could be more convenient for the long stayers.
