The location is perfect , close to everything especially ferries , train and buses . Great restaurants and bars within staggering distance !

The location was good and as described.
The building was really old and almost felt like it was abandoned. When entering we couldn't find where to turn the lights on so we had to climb up three flights of stairs with our suitcases and three kids using our phones. Before entering the apartment we could smell mold/mildew and when opening the door the smell was overwhelming. The bathrooms had visible mold on the ceilings. (Our youngest son is asthmatic, so that was a BIG problem for us.) There were five of us and only four towels. Old bedding. So, so beds. We were completely let down by this property with all the glowing reviews! Normally the listings on Booking.com are represented by the reviews. Not this time, sadly.

We were told late in the booking that this was a loft, the entrance was smelly and and for an 80 year old to climb 49 steps, some with no rail was not acceptable. Apartment was as in brochure.

Mallory, the woman who takes care of the apartment was very helpful. She helped me with parking and answered any questions I had. The apartment was great. It was a nice space and had a great kitchen.
The only thing I didn't like was walking up all the stairs to get to the apartment.

The accomodation was very functional, the kitchen was very good equiped and the flat sufficient for 4 people with two bathrooms.

There are a lot of stairs to the property which is not a problem for most but the elderly or those with mobility difficulties could struggle.

Very nice flat in an excellent location. Kids loved having space to play around. We will definitely be back. Getting the keys was easy. Car parking on street right outside door.

Beautiful appartment conveniently situated. Very clean and fully fitted out.
We had a bit of difficulty with accessing the key as box wasn’t labelled. Also it was difficult to close the key lock when we left the apartment.

The apartment was lovely and well equipped. We stayed for two nights.
The stairs up to the top were quite steep, and there was no hand rail for the last part. This made it quite difficult carrying luggage up and down.

Unlite stairway up three flights was not ideal. Good job we had torches on our phones.
Also key safe needs to be replaced with a larger push button type. Not easy to access or close.

wonderful location close to the ferry terminal and restaurants
parking was a challenge. The car cannot be kept out front during the daytime.

The location was perfect, close to the beautiful waterfront and also to a supermarket and local restaurants. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equiped. There was even a brand new baby chair for our son. The communication with Mallory was very easy. We'll sure try to come back!

Location, cleanliness, layout, decor, it all really work very very well. Comfortable too and the en suite a bonus. Fantastic that you can make use of full kitchen facilities and provisions are available for a one night stay before ferry was great. No need to buy tea and milk!!
Parked outside too after six was free.
Thoroughly recommend, perhaps a little expensive for multiple nights, depends on your family set up really.
But its a really nice find and i would go back....
Only glitch? Difficulty accessing key box, had to call owner through booking.com. the PIN code we had been given on the app was not the same as the one given verbally over phone, got in after owner called back in five ish minutes of a slghtly anxious wait.

The flat was lovely, very well supplied with everything one might need. It was particularly nice to find both coffee and milk there after arriving late at night following a long journey. It's a wonderful airy flat, and very comfortable. It was also very quiet but also close to the centre of town and the ferries. The host was very helpful.
Only a couple of very minor things, the lockbox was a bit difficult to reach and open (for small people with small hands!) and we could have done with somewhere to put things in the bathroom (i.e. shelf or cupboard). However these aspects were not important and we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

location, clean, good facilities and great help from the owner. great price for us and a really good location in Oban where we visit for family. have stayed in a number of places now, both hotels and apartments, and this is easily the best. will certainly be back.

We loved the property. The hosts had a lot available in a welcome pack and had made a great effort to make sure guests were comfortable. The flat was clean, in a great location, and quiet.
