The view, the location, the decor

Three steep flights of stairs was hard work for my elderly parents, we couldn't get the WiFi to work, the power socket in the hall didn't seem to be working so the router could not power on. There was bed linen drying in the bedrooms and no dry linen available for the couch.

Location overlooking main pier with views across to Mull was superb. The flat was large, spotlessly clean with everything we required and more. The beds were very comfortable and the shower/bath excellent. There were 5 adults in our group and all had the same opinion about the accommodation being an excellent choice and so close to main tourist attractions as well as to shops, bars and restaurants.The flat is traditionally furnished which is in keeping with the period nature of the building but cooking and kitchen equipment were all reliable, the furniture comfortable and plentiful. Wi-Fi was excellent and TV had great channels. The host was in frequent and helpful contact and gave us early access which was much appreciated. Great stay all round. Highly recommend the facility.

The walk to the top floor of the building to access the flat kept us on our toes 😂but we knew this before we arrived, so no surprise there. Unfortunately access to the small outside balcony wasn’t possible as the sash window was to be repaired the following week.A helpful written note beside the window advised of this. Whilst it didn’t detract from the quality of our stay much, it would have been nice. These things happen.

The living area was spacious and warm. The bedrooms were spacious.

I don’t want to be disrespectful to what is clearly someone’s home, but overall the property is worn and unclean and the building is grungy. There are 80 steps from the street to the door so it was extremely difficult to get our heavy suitcases up 7 flights of stairs. There were no instructions. There were personal items in the bathroom. We found a dirty fork and spoon in the drawer so had to wash all the cutlery before we felt comfortable using it. A notice proclaiming cleaning procedures urged guests to keep things clean but when we eventually found a dustpan and brush it was disgusting. The balcony is inaccessible and decrepit….. I could go on, but suffice to say that this is a substandard property unworthy of Booking.com

The flat was super cosy and we had the wonderful view of the port and sunset through the sitting room window. hardly 5 minutes from numerous restaurants. and same for the ferry to Mull. we had a fab stay! thank you.

Great facilities, other then the shower that didn’t work, and eventually was not very good.

The shower that didn’t work, and the landlord didn’t answer for over an hour, kinda ruined our first night.

The beds were very comfortable. The flat was very well equipped with extra touches to make it feel homely.

the property could be doing with being decorated in some areas where there is some damp patches showing also the dishwasher didn’t work. not the cleanest place we have stayed

Excellent location, large spacious apartment, lots of stairs to climb but worth it for the view. Very well equipped.

In need of some TLC. But would consider booking again.

Suggest: it seemed the carpets needed a wash and a thorough dusting.There is alot if stairs so pack liggt luggage

The apartment was spacious, clean and everything we were looking for in our short stay in Oban. Even with it being on the Main Street it was very quiet and the view from the balcony was beautiful. We would love to stay here again.

As we went as 6 adults it meant 2 of us had to sleep on the small single beds - these are more designed for children. I thought maybe a different mattress could make it better.However it was still a comfortable stay and would still come back.

Amazing place, spacious and location perfect. Hosts were awesome and helpful.

Location was fabulous and views were stunning. Great apartment with very large rooms and hallway and most things you would need are supplied. Be prepared for a LOT of stairs and a hidden freezer in the cupboard 👍🏻

Couch could do with being replaced as sunken seats and bed in master bedroom is very hard

Balcony access through the window!

Really well located with fabulous views of Oban harbour

The stairs were hard work but we knew about them before we arrived so we knew what to expect. Disappointed with the balcony/outdoor seating area. If you want to access this you need to climb out a sash window so not exactly what we expected!

Key safe really handy very clear instructions on how to use and easy to find the door :) the apartment is stunning! Tidy, well decorated with beautiful views. Everything you could ever need is there and it was a very comfortable stay. I just wish I could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back. They also catered so well for my little boy as I requested a cot and it even had toys in it! All the family found their rooms perfect.

Lots of stairs but worth the climb :)
