Blackhawk Creek - A Great Family Getaway
Blackhawk Creek LLC est une maison de ferme récemment rénovée, construite en 1896. Certaines chambres ont des planchers de bois franc d'origine et il y a garniture de chêne dans toute la maison, en ajoutant à son charme de la campagne. Il y a quatre chambres dans cette spacieuse maison de deux étages avec une cuisine complète, grand salon et salle à manger. La maison est nichée dans les collines entre Ferdinand et le Père Noël (moins de 7 miles de Holiday World et Splashin 'Safari) avec un accès facile. Les grands arbres d'ombrage, un gazebo et barbecue au gaz sont parfaits pour les pique-niques et les levers et couchers de soleil à regarder. La maison est sur une ferme en activité et est idéal pour les familles. Vous serez dans le pays et découvrir les images et les sons de la nature, y compris les vaches et les moutons. Vous pouvez également voir les cerfs et les dindes sauvages.

We love this place. Its only 10 minutes to Holiday World & 15-20 minutes to several restaurants. The house was clean, strong WIFI & modern TV's with a YouTube TV subscription. The appliances are modern & in good order

We had our first family vacation with our grown children and grandsons. It was a great location to go Holiday World. It was a beautiful setting. We loved the place to hangout and spending time for our whole family! Would love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. We got lost & Gloria was super nice to help us get there & then proceeded to tell us the easy way to go back & forth.
Gloria was wonderful to work with & the place was perfect for our group. Interestingly, my daughter & her family live on a family farm & felt right at home.
The packet of information includes restaurants in the area. We were only 15 minutes from Holiday World when we followed Gloria’s instructions! 😉🙄😂I highly recommend this place!

The view and the property were so peaceful, it was fun to watch the cows roaming through the pastures, and explaining farm life to our grandkids. It was a close easy drive to Holiday world, which was wonderful at the end of the day when we were very tired and had 6 small children that needed to get back and go to bed. We also enjoyed playing lots of games that were there at the house for our use. We also appreciated comfortable beds.

We had a great stay of three generations to celebrate grandpa’s birthday and watch the solar eclipse! This house was perfect. Lots of room for all 11 of us, both indoors and outdoors. Quiet and peaceful. Kitchen was well equipped to cook for all. Great place for family or friend gatherings!

We had our annual family Holiday World trip last week. With our family growing over the past couple of years we needed a bigger place to stay. This was the perfect spot with plenty of rooms and space. Conveniently located and perfect for a big group.

The home was the perfect location for our family gathering. It was close and convenient to Holiday World. The outdoor areas, the pavilion and the firepit, were wonderful. The house had plenty of room and was very well stocked with everthing we needed.

Close to main roads but country feel. Open areas for kids to play and gazebo for adults to sit with propane grill on site. Outdoor games in shed to enjoy. Plenty of open area indoor and room to accommodate larger # of people.

Our family had a fantastic time staying on the farm property. We were visiting my brother who is in the area and this was a great place for all to stretch out and relax. Super clean and felt like we were at home. Highly recommended to stay here if you are going to be in the area!

This house was built in 1896 and it still has all the charm, yet fully updated. From the floors, to the appliances, windows, doors and everything in between. The owners were very responsive when I had questions. The porch & gazebo were excellent for watching the cows, sheep, and other farm animals. The front faces the sunrises and the rear faces the sunsets. Ample table room for everyone to sit around in the kitchen. We were all extremely happy with every aspect of this house rental. The farm land was an awesome backdrop to everything we did and the house itself was very comfortable and didn't lack for anything. We will definitely be making this a yearly retreat for our family for as long as we can.

We had a nice stay at the farmhouse with our group of 11. The house has plenty of space and beds, and we all enjoyed seeing the cows grazing. It was a short drive to Holiday World. Great time!

The farmhouse is spotless and well supplied. Just a beautiful setting. Lots of sleeping options. Don’t have one negative to say——except for both bathrooms being on the first floor which makes it tough for a bunch of 68 year old bladders staying on the second floor!! No worries.

The house is a cute and renovated farmhouse. Plenty of beds and space. Plenty of extra blankets and towels. Has a comfortable home feeling. Multiple TVs with cable. Ample tables and chairs in living room snd dining room available to accommodate bigger groups.

This is a beautiful house set on a working farm. It was an idyllic location with awe inspiring views. We got a little confused as to where the house was located. I texted the owner who immediately called me and directed me to the correct spot. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. All of my group loved our stay.

Very well maintained 1896 house on a working farm. We loved the house and all the amenities. Stocked with ample supply of towels, wash clothes, and anything you might need. We plan to rent this house every year we go to Santa Claus, IN.

We took our grandkids and met my sister and her family. We spent two days in Holiday World and it was so nice to have a place close by to stay. It was a very clean, nice place and Gloria was amazing and available for all our needs. My granddaughter left her Favorite teddy bear and Gloria had it mailed to her. We would and will stay here again!

Holiday World Vacation
This is an amazing house to stay. It is close to Holiday World. The house is located in the country and has the perfect country charm with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of room for all eight of us easily. The kids took the upstairs; which they thought was awesome. Definitely would stay again.

We enjoyed the yard and home to the fullest. From the spacious eating area, to the outdoor gazebo and shaded yard to the large family room and many beds available, we had a great stay! Very clean, well stocked and so close to Holiday World!
