Walking distance to downtown & beach. Short drive to other beautiful beach towns. House was in great condition with everything we needed. Quick response from owner when we requested use of beach umbrella, bikes, etc. Quiet location, would sometimes hear upstairs neighbors walking around but that’s to be expected. Queen bed was a bit firm for my liking but that’s a personal preference. Would recommend -great value nice, clean rental with all the amenities & great location.

Enjoyed our stay at this cute place. It is centrally located within walking distance to everywhere I needed to go. Loved that there were bikes available to ride around on. Very clean, comfortable, and the host is very responsive! Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

This is the fourth year my Son’s and I have traveled to Grand Haven for a late Summer trip. We really enjoyed the “Hang your Hat” location. The couches in the living room were very comfortable for movie nights. The kitchen was spacious and perfect for making breakfast each morning. The actual location was the best. One block away from the Main Street which made it very easy to walk into town for dinner. The floors could have used an extra sweeping before our arrival and as with most older homes the walls do not block noise that well. Overall it was a great stay! Thank you

If you’re looking for a place to “hang your hat” while in Grand Haven, look no further. This home is located literally about a block from town! You can walk or bike to everything, which is a huge perk when staying in Grand Haven.

We stayed for 3 nights, just me and my SO. The property is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Grand Haven which was wonderful, even closer than they looked on the maps we looked up. The house was clean and the AC kept it nice and cool. We had upstairs neighbors, and it is just a regular house, so we heard some footsteps and creaks, but nothing intrusive. The price was the best we'd seen of any other property close to it in size or location.

Home is 1 block from downtown which offers many restaurants and shops. I fountain is a few blocks away and beach is approximately 1 mile away. The host quickly responded to any questions we had.

Quiet, simple, and convenient
This property was perfect for a short getaway! It is very conveniently located to many restaurants and shops as well as the water. We enjoyed walking to just about everything we needed! Though not the most extravagant, this rental was very clean and made for a relaxing worry-free stay.

Fun in GH
Property is older but well maintained and well stocked. Fresh towels on the bed along with soap / shampoo for each of us when we arrived.
Owner was very responsive to my email / text messages.
Location is excellent, one and one half blocks from the shopping / restaurant area, and the river walk was just another 10 minutes away.
Wonderful experience, we would stay here again.

Wonderful stay at Hang Your Hat
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Grand Haven and our stay at Hang Your Hat. Nancy is a gracious host and has provided everything one could need or want. The apartment was spotless and so comfortable. The balcony right off the living room was a lovely place to sit and watch the town go by. Nancy responded quickly to our questions and even came to our rescue when we accidentally locked ourselves out. The location couldn’t be better. Right in town and just a short walk to the water. We highly recommend Hang Your Hat!!

One of the best places in Grand Haven
Hang your hat is in the perfect spot in Grand Haven...super close to the Main Street and just close enough to everything else. The property was very well stocked, decorated and had everything we needed...couldn't ask for more. Nancy was great during the whole process...communication was great. If you are going to Grand Haven...this is the place to hang your hat...we will be back.

Wedding Weekend
This property is in a great location. You can walk to everything. We had a wonderful time exploring the town and eateries. We were able to walk to our friend's daughters wedding ceremony and reception. Truly a beautiful cozy home.

Comfortable and perfect location
Nancy was very receptive to my questions. With a baby, this place was perfect with its washer and dryer and room to spread out. Everything was clean. Appreciated all of the items in the kitchen and laundry area. Walkable to downtown and beach.

Beautifully Quaint
Our stay at this property was very enjoyable. The property owner was extremely accommodating and did an amazing job decorating and preparing for visitors. It was pristine inside. The property is only one block away from the downtown area which is full of great stores and restaurants.

Great Anniversary Trip in Grand Haven
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Under Cover. This was one of the cleanest and we'll kept places we've stayed at.
Nancy was wonderful to work with and had thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable. She even left a bottle of prosecco for us to celebrate on our anniversary. The house was equipped with menus and trail guides and tourist brochures, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly have needed. The town was quaint and fun and the house is in a perfect location, close to all shops and restaurants and very close to the river and beach as well. We couldn't have been happier and hope to return.

Home Away from Home

Great place!
We really enjoyed our stay at hang your hat. I loved the leather couches and the deck with a gas grill. It is a two or mile walk from the beach and right off of the downtown area with easy access to baked goods, restaurants and ice cream. Lots of bike trails and parks as well. We appreciated the little extras like the wagon, board games, and dvds that made it easier with our son. We will definitely be back if we come to Michigan again.

Relaxing beach getaway
Wonderful experience at the beach! Lots to do, it rained one day but overall had a great time! Nancy has done a wonderful job making sure the home had everything!
