Vous ressentirez la sérénité du pays de l'Alaska et de la beauté sauvage en dehors de la ville sur 10 acres! Petite maison soignée et propre avec des fenêtres qui encadrent des vues dignes d'une carte postale! Intérieur confortable avec 2 chambres à l'étage et suffisamment d'espace pour un lit d'appoint si nécessaire. La terrasse extérieure accueille un barbecue et des vues dont vous vous souviendrez longtemps après votre départ. Situé à environ 15 minutes de la ville, l'un des avantages est l'incroyable route d'East End Road! Vous voyez Homer sous un angle complètement différent alors que vous montez jusqu'à 1400 pieds au-dessus de la baie! Il y a Fritz Creek General Store pour les agrafes, le gaz, le bureau de poste et la meilleure pizza de la ville! Aussi, c'est le pays "Alaska: The Last Frontier" car la ferme Kilchers est dans la région de Fritz Creek à seulement quelques miles de The Husky Ranch! Il y a un sentier de randonnée dans les parcs d'État à moins d'un demi-mile du ranch ou profitez simplement de votre course! Les fleurs sauvages à gogo! La maison est de 1400 pieds carrés et peut accueillir 4 dans 2 lits queen; plus possible! Wi-Fi, DISH TV, toutes les commodités! Au début de la saison, on parle de «débâcle» et le printemps se réveille encore, mais à la mi-juin, attention, les grues atterrissent dans les champs et les orignaux naviguent fréquemment dans la cour! When we got to the cabin in was after dark. But when we woke up the next morning OMG!! I can’t say much cause the views just took my breath away!!! The cabin was perfect for what we needed. This was a trip for us to get away and relax to reflect on the past year of my husbands passing. From the cabin to the view and the host. This was a perfect place to come enjoy and relax. We recommend this place!! We will be back next year!!!

From the minute we drove up to the cabin we loved it we hadn’t even gotten through the door.
The view of the glaciers was amazing…the fireweed fields were gorgeous. We had all the equipment needed to make our meals….beds were comfortable.
We would highly recommend this VRBO. We will definately stay here again next year.

Magnificent views and a wonderful rental
We loved our short stay here just outside of Homer! The views of the mountains and glaciers were amazing and the property was in a quiet location. We also appreciated the extra water bowls for dogs. The property managers were very helpful and kind (they made homemade muffins and told us where to find the best prices for gas and groceries!). We hope to be back next year for a longer stay!

Incredible view in cozy cabin
This was our hub for Homer area visit of Alaskan tour. Property was very clean, comfortable and welcoming for me and my son. The continuous view of beautiful flowers (fireweed I think?) against the blue and white of Kachemak bay, surrounding mountains and glaciers makes you want to move here! Would definitely come back!

The view from this cabin is unreal! Cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The living room and yard were great for the kids to play. The hostess was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Pictures do not due justice to this dog-friendly gem
My niece and I stayed here with our 2 dogs and It was our favorite for our trip to Alaska. Very homey, quiet, with amazing vistas. On the second night, we watched 5 moose graze on the property. 3 were a mom and her yearling twin boys. Lots of thoughtful touches for us and the dogs at the house as well. We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay here

Fritz Creek Paradise
The Husky Ranch exceeded our expectations in every way! It was our first trip to Homer and we fell head-over-heels, not just with Homer but with this location. The cabin is exceptionally clean and well appointed. The views are indescribable (the pictures don’t even begin to capture the scope). Waking in the morning to this is the true Alaskan experience, you feel very small in this incredible landscape. We live in Anchorage and have already began looking at nearby properties for our own little piece of this Fritz Creek paradise!

Unacceptable
There were multiple safety issues that made us need to leave:
The water that came out of the faucet was brown. We tried to clear it but it was gross.
There are very narrow and steep stairs with no banister or handholds. The strikes on the stairs were very narrow, as well.
The bathroom is on the first floor which requires traveling down dangerous stairs during the night.
Getting suitcases up the stairs was dangerous and almost impossible. We did not feel safe trying it.
The grate over the deck by the front door had supports that were very soft and rotting.
The front door would not stay closed and had to be held closed with a rock.
The rain was coming through the living room windows.
They asked that you don’t use the wood stove and keep the other heater set very low. There was no heat upstairs.
They asked that the shower curtain be sprayed down with a bleaching cleaning agent after each use. Breathing medical issues made this impossible.
We took many pictures and can send to you.
This rental was WAY OVER PRICED. We offered to pay one night as we could not leave during the storm. We asked that the other two nights be reimbursed.

Authentic Alaskan Living
This authentic log cabin was set in a stunning location outside of Homer and the hustle and bustle of the Spit. The fall colors were incredible - looking out any of the many windows we enjoyed the fall fireweed foliage paired with the bright greens of a moist climate, bright shades of blue of Kachemak Bay, purple mountains topped with white and crystal blue glaciers all affected by the ever changing skies. We were mesmerized by the stars on 2 clear nights. On one beautiful morning as we drove around the country roads in the area we came upon 3 bears, a moose, 2 sandhill cranes and a Huskie ranch. We loved our time here. As seniors, we were a bit concerned when we saw that the bathroom is downstairs (narrow and without any handrails) while the comfy bedrooms are upstairs but by the second night we felt more confident negotiating the stairs for the middle of the night bathroom run!
We would love to go back sometime to Husky Ranch!

Inspiring Views
The Fritz Creek Husky Ranch was a great property. It shows it's age, but everything works properly. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is adequately stocked with utensils. Washer and dryer worked well (thank goodness) and there was a new dishwasher. By far the most stunning aspects were the large windows on three sides of the house that showcased the surrounding mountains, bay and glaciers. It is about a 20 minute drive from Homer, but a rural setting is of high concern for us. We immensely enjoyed our time at the ranch.

Incredible views
We loved our stay at the house. The fireweed was gorgeous, and only enhanced the view. The stairs are a bit steep to reach the bedrooms, but overall the house was the perfect place to vacation!

The Husky Ranch
We enjoyed this beautiful property! We were in Homer for a wedding at the AK Diamond Ranch and this was the perfect place to stay. It was only about a 10 min drive from the wedding venue. This property has the most amazing views! It was very clean, cozy and very welcoming. And to top it all off, we had a family of moose who came to visit and feast on the greenery right outside the beautiful living room windows! We completely enjoyed our visit and stay at the Husky Ranch! I am so glad we found it!

Wonderful homey getaway with a view
This was a perfect getaway from the city. Every single detail was thought of, right down to muffins! The view was AMAZING even though we had rain come in. It still was stunning.
The children loved the firepit for marshmallows and is adults for a wind down. Perfection. We will keep the Husky Ranch on our list to visit again, for sure!

Wonderful Views, Adorable Home
Six of us had such a great time staying here during the weekend! The pictures don't do the house or the views justice. It was a beautiful home and the views were spectacular and honestly breathtaking. The beds were comfortable, and everything was incredibly clean. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and I found the information that the host had left for us super helpful. I hope to stay here again next summer!

This fun well equipped cabin is up Fritz Creek close to HOMER. We stayed the month of July and it’s Aug 4 and we want to go back! The owner was in touch with the property manager to make sure we had all of the supplies we needed. It would be a crime to miss the extravagant display of the Lupine, fireweed, go walk the spit and laugh at the otters and laugh harder at the people fishing! We also loved our daily ice cream cone, walking along the beaches with our dogs and checking out the stores. You must take a ferry to Soldovia and Halibut Cove! If it works out we would love to come back to the Husky Ranch again

Great Cabin with Amazing Views
Had a great stay at the Cabin! Beds were very comfortable! Loved all the little extras left out for the guests, fruits etc, the teenagers loved the muffins! Views were amazing and the stay was prefect! We will definitely be back!

Spectacular view!
No horses, apparently haven’t been there for years. That said, what a view!..including the beautiful flowers and garden on the property. Far enough away and still close enough to Homer to fully enjoy the Spit and surrounding area.
